A beautiful memories I will always carry in my hearts.
5/5

The journey was challenging, but every step was worth it for this unforgettable encounter with nature’s giants. My 3-day gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda was nothing short of magical. Trekking through lush, mist-covered forests, we followed the calls of birds and the rustle of leaves until we finally stood face-to-face with a gentle mountain gorilla family. Watching their playful young and wise silverback in their natural habitat was a humbling, once-in-a-lifetime moment. Every moment I felt excited and thrilled.

Thank you Northern Fox for giving us the best service
5/5

We planned our trip to Uganda with friends and we chose Northern Fox Adventures as the local tour operator in Uganda. Their service was really amazing, the guide was amazing and they ensured safety. If there’s one word to describe our gorilla trekking trip in Uganda, It is, in a word, extraordinary,. The moment we stepped into Bwindi Impenetrable Forest with our boots muddy and hearts racing, we knew this was going to be one of those once-in-a-lifetime adventures. There was a surreal silence as we observed them - a silverback lounging confidently, playful juveniles tumbling around, and a mother cradling her baby. Being in their world, even for just an hour, felt sacred. Cameras clicked, but we all paused several times just to take it in. That eye contact with a wild gorilla. Chilling in the best way.

Best time in Uganda
4/5

Northern Fox Adventures made our honeymoon truly special. From the very first call, they understood exactly what we wanted romance, relaxation, and a bit of adventure. They delivered on every front. The hotels they selected were beautiful and welcoming, and the itinerary was well-paced. Every transition from airport transfers to hotel check-ins was handled seamlessly. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras they arranged, like a romantic dinner and a surprise room upgrade. Their team was always available and quick to respond. If you want a perfect blend of personal attention and professional planning, Northern Fox is the agency to trust.

Best gorilla trekking experience
5/5

Traveling to Uganda with a group of friends was one of the best decisions we’ve ever made and choosing Northern Fox Adventure made the trip absolutely memorable. Whe we arrived, everything was incredibly well-organized. The team greeted us warmly and made us feel safe, comfortable, and welcomed. Our guide was a true gem- friendly, knowledgeable, and full of energy. He knew how to keep the group engaged, whether we were tracking rhinos at Ziwa Sanctuary, watching elephants in Murchison Falls, or sharing laughs during a cultural dance night in a local village. We especially appreciated how Northern Fox chose places that were locally owned and eco-friendly. They made everything stress-free, fun, and truly memorable

Advise: take caution with this company

I booked a gorilla trek in Uganda on December 2024, through Northern Fox Adventures. 'Eddie' has been stalling ever since, making excuses, and telling me I had nothing to worry about. Communication was a disaster.
Three days before the scheduled tour in March, he finally canceled. I'm still waiting for the $800 I paid. Be careful.

Misled, ignored calls & pocketed $830 of my money without paying for services
1/5

This tour operator shouldn't be advertised on this platform and shouldn't be approached. 'Eddie' assured me that I was being booked on a group tour - and yet I was on my own. He failed to provide timely communications and updates to me until prompted. My driver was about 1.5hrs late to pick me up, then got a traffic ticket, afterwards getting pulled over by the traffic police, to wait in a hot field by the side of the road for over 45 minutes. As a result of these delays, we spent the last stretch of the
near 10hr journey in the dark on dirt roads, with few updates conveyed to me. The next day, on arrival at the Bwindi gorilla base camp, I was left alone as two separate trekking groups came and went, without any communication until more than 2 hours later, when it materialised that Eddie had not paid for the gorilla permit, that I paid him for, over a month ago. Eddie failed to pick up his phone or respond to messages from the driver or myself all morning. I had to either leave without seeing the gorillas I had come all this way to see, or pay another $800 for the permit. I had no choice but to pay again before the cut-off for that day's gorilla trekking. Eddie then decided to become available at around 11, and has since that time come up with a range of excuses (no apologies) and has continually delayed and prevaricated reimbursing me. I believe I have been scammed. I have reported this to the police. It has left me suspicious and spoilt my experience of visiting Uganda. I trusted Safaribookings and was let down with their vetting of tour operators.

Incredible Gorilla Trekking Experience..
5/5

Our 7-day adventure with Northern Fox Adventure Tours was unforgettable! The highlight was undoubtedly the gorilla trekking in Bwindi. Frank, our guide, was knowledgeable and patient, ensuring we followed all the guidelines while observing the majestic gorillas. The scenery was breathtaking, and the cultural visit to the Batwa community added a unique touch to our experience. Highly recommended for nature lovers!

Exceptional!
5/5

From booking to drop off the entire package was amazing. Faruk was a kind soul and a wealth of information. It was a tour right from the pick up in Entebee. Faruk sharing knowledge of the lands and people. We made stops along the way, and stops on the way back. cultural activities. Truly was amazing and the gorilla trekking, outstanding! I can’t say enough good things about the tour and hotels and just the overall experience. Thank you Eddie and Faruk! ❤️
