We went on safari in Tanzania with GreenHippo Travels and we had a great safari!
The ladies are very friendly and give a lot of advise. They ask for your interests and make a program accordingly. They know what they sell. Our program was good and the hotels were nicely chosen. And we had a very good and knowledgeable driver/guide on safari.

Very enthusiastic and knowledgable people!
We needed to change the date of the safari due to plane circumstances and this was possible. They were fantastic in helping us!! Their reply is always very fast and they listened to our wishes very well. We had an amazing safari guide who knew what we wanted to see and he was very knowledgeable about all national parks, animals and Tanzania. We will definitely use them next time we visit Tanzania.

Living in Rwanda and before in Kenya, we were very much looking forward to visiting the National Parks in Tanzania. We discussed with Karin several possibilities, the next day she sent us her proposal. She understood our experience and expectations very well. Whenever we had a question, Karin always responded very quickly. We first visited Zanzibar and continued our journey to the National Parks Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and West Kilimanjaro. It was a journey beyond expectations. The nature was fabulous and the tented camps and lodges very private with beautiful views. Our game driver was very experienced and reliable, shared his knowledge about the area and behaviour of the animals and was a passionate birdwatcher. The car was in good condition.

Very client friendly, tailor-made service
We had a great experience, very well organized by GreenHippo Travels. They made a tailor made proposal that exactly fitted what we were looking for. We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Zanzibar. Everything was well prepared and all information was made available in a very user-friendly app, containing all practical info on accomodation, transfers, as well as description of the places to be visited. Our driver and guide Moses was great! Very knowledgeable and always looking for the best spots. Communication with and support provided by GreenHippo was very good, all questions were dealt with rapidly. Asante sana!

Green Hippo Travels arranged for us a wonderfull 5 day safari; we have been to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro.
Everything was arranged up to the smallest detail.
Green Hippo Travels has a lot of knowledge on the parcs, the animals, which season to go etc.
All information was provided upfront (also practical information). Communication was clear, accurate, responsive, very friendly.
I would definitely recommend Green Hippo to book your trip.

GreenHippo Travels arranged - also in these covid times - a great & safe safari!
My husband and I have been on a 5 day safari, organised by Green Hippo Travels.
We had a amazing time: we have seen so many animals (big 5) and our guide had a lot of knowledge and knew where to go to.
The accomodations were beautifull and we also felt very safe (from a covid perspective).
Our request was a last-minute request. It was very well dealt with by Green Hippo (within 1 day, everything was arranged).
We were properly informed of all aspects of our travel plans.

Great experience!
My experience (went two times with Green Hippo) is great! We could just tell them what we wanted to do and they arranged it perfectly for us. Our very own personal tour. The comminications were very fast and on point.
The tour itself was amazing. We got the most wonderful driver. He knew everything about the animals and the history of the parks. My sister is a birdwatcher and Green Hippo provided us a driver who knows everything about birds. Great experience!
The parkfees in Tanzania are expensive but totally worth it. They have a lot of rangers who keep the parks save for the animals aswell for the tourists. There are not many people in the parks so you really have the feeling that you’re alone in the world. It was just wonderful.
P.s. Book a night in a tent in a Safari park. Its amazing, the animals walk just around your tent

Astrid and Karin are very experienced because they have been living in Tanzania for years. And with their Western (Dutch) background, they feel very well what we like in terms of activities, locations and price-quality ratio. A very good organisation, with a very good service from begin till the end!
The enjoy of our journey started with the info we got before.
The trip started with a flight to the west off the Serengeti. At the arrival we became a very pleasant "Karibu sana". After that we traveled for 3 days in the Serengeti and we saw a lot of animals and wildlife. The second day we were witness of the Great Migration! A great event to see, hear, feel and smell!!
The lodge was very beautiful and it had all kinds of luxury. We enjoyed that very much!!
Over all: it was a very great Journey organised bij Karin. Thank you very much for that!!
