Very dishonest company — I do not recommend booking with them.
We booked a one-day safari to Mikumi from Zanzibar two months in advance for the 18th. On the evening of the 17th, when I contacted them to ask what we should bring, they casually informed us that they had moved our safari to the 19th due to weather changes and other guests being rescheduled. We were never informed beforehand and were simply told there was no availability left on our original date.
It was very difficult for us to move our plans to the 19th, so we requested a refund. First, they said we would only receive 25%. After I spoke with the manager, she assured me we would receive a full refund. Minutes later, we received another email saying management had decided on 40%. After that, the manager stopped responding entirely.
In the end, we were forced to go on the 19th despite the logistical difficulties. The safari itself was great — but only because the guide they hired was excellent. You can easily book with other companies that use great guides as well.
Poor communication, broken promises, and very unprofessional handling of refunds. Avoid this company.

We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused by the rescheduling of your day trip to Mikumi National Park from Zanzibar.
Unfortunately, the change was necessary due to operational disruptions caused by heavy rains affecting the airstrip, which made flights on your original date unsafe. In such circumstances, safety must always come first. As soon as we received confirmation from the local aviation operators that flights were impacted, alternative dates were arranged.
Regarding the refund discussion, partial refunds were initially offered in line with supplier and aviation policies, as the booking involved prepaid flight logistics and park arrangements that are non-refundable once confirmed. However, as a gesture of goodwill, management increased the refund offer despite these contractual constraints.
We regret that this situation caused frustration. We are, however, pleased that you enjoyed the safari experience itself and that our professional guide delivered the high standard of wildlife experience we consistently aim to provide.
We remain committed to transparency, safety, and delivering memorable safari experiences to all our guests.

Wonderful Experience with reasonable price
I joined a 3-day, 2-night tour to Mikumi National Park from April 16 to 18. Due to an unexpected change in my schedule, I asked if it was possible to delay the trip by one day. Connect Safari responded kindly and allowed the change without any additional cost, which I truly appreciated.
During the safari, our guide was very experienced and provided detailed and informative explanations about the animals and the park. Even after seeing many animals, the team made a great effort to help us find lions, showing real dedication to giving us the best experience.
The overall atmosphere was comfortable and the price was very reasonable. I was very satisfied with the tour.

Amazing experience
Our experience with Connect African Safaris was nothing short of amazing! From the moment our flight landed, they were there to pick us up, ensuring a seamless transfer to Mikumi National Park despite some unexpected challenges on the road.
Throughout the safari, they went above and beyond to make sure everything was smooth and enjoyable. We were lucky to see all of the Big Four, and they were incredibly patient, always checking in to see if we needed anything or wanted to take more photos and videos. Their attention to detail and commitment to our experience made the trip even more special.
At the end of the day, they not only dropped us off at the hotel they helped us book, but they also waited until we completed our late-night check-in, ensuring everything was in order. Their hospitality and professionalism were truly outstanding.
If I ever visit again, I’ll definitely choose Connect African Safaris without hesitation! Highly recommended!

Professionally organised safari
It was a great experience for us. All team – Abdul, Aggy, Filippo and James took such a good care of us. Everything was very well organised. Tour guides Aggy and Abdul shared their extensive knowledge about animals, birds and plants in the park. And I never thought I’d see wild animals so close. Elephant babies were my favourites 😊

100% perfect
The safari itself was truly amazing. The guides knew what they were doing and told us a lot of things about the animals and the wildlife. Besides from that they took care of EVERYTHING. Abdul and Philip did an amazing job, from pickling us up, to handling the different tours, and we were in a bit of a hurry back to the ferry but they even managed to get us there in time and helped us through the gates. We loved everything and if we’re ever going to Tanzania safari again, this will be it!

Tanzania Dream Safari- pick up and drop off from cruise ship in Zanzibar
Safari James @ Connect Safari designed and orchestrated the perfect 28 hour excursion for us, during our recent stop in ZANZIBAR on a cruise ship. He coordinated our journey with security on our ship. He picked us up at the dock brought us to the airport and flew us over to Tanzania. Our Safari Guide picked us up at the runway at the park in Tanzania, and on the short trip from the runway to our Riverside Lodge, we saw tons of animals, in particular giraffes. We arrived right before sunset and were whisked away for a two hour river cruise, where we saw a minimum of 40 hippopotamuses and numerous African crocodiles. We had a lovely dinner at our lodge, followed by a very comfortable night in an upscale glamping tent/room. When the sun came up, the lodge supplied us with coffee and boxed breakfast, and our guide were already there and took us for a seven hour Safari. We saw lions, giraffes monkeys, elephants, hippopotamus numerous birds and African deer, etc. our driver was informative, professional, and an amazing navigator. He was in contact constantly with other drivers sharing information to make sure that in the short period of time we could see as much wildlife as possible. At the end of the day, he brought us back to The airport where we were flown back to ZANZIBAR, met by our driver and brought back to the side of our ship …one hour before the ship was ready to leave. It was a wonderful experience. I can’t thank them Enough!.
Incredible encounter to wildlife
Our experience was superb; our two guides had amazing experience they shared their facts and knowledge about the wildlife and environment. We would like to thank Lurdovick and Abdul plus James from Connect African safari for putting everything together. Highly recommended

Wonderful Safari in Mikumi
Thanks a lot to Abdul from African-Connect for a very well organized safari to Mikumi!
Starting with an easy pickup, I enjoyed the smooth 3 days with a nice stay in the lodge and an exciting game drive within the park.
