PROFFESIONAL AND VERY PROMPT IN HIS COMMUNUICATION THROUGHT THE BOOKING AND TRIP ITSELF
Best Choice ever.
This was my first visit to Kenya. I had a lot of questions about the trip, and Xavier and his team patiently provided me with all the answers.
Safari Updates provided me with itenary and hotel vouchers showing proof of my payments and booking voucher for the entire safari. They picked us up at our hotel as promised right on time and off we went. I do have to especially appreciate our driver and guide Antony he was fantastic throughout the entire trip. He was knowledgeable and answered promptly, and no matter how many times we wanted him to stop for pictures of the animals, he was ready to do so. He was safe with his driving at all times, and the hospitality we received from him was excellent. We stayed at sopa lodge which had great food based on our dietary restrictions and were also fortunate to have a great game viewing. We also had a fun boat ride at Naivasha and had an opportunity to hike down the Hell's Gate Gorge and were able to see the volcanic fault lines.
Everything that was promised was delivered !! Loved the experience in working with the company and our guide. I highly recommend this company and will definitely revisit and book my next trip with them soon.

Best customer service. Highly recommend!
Best safari planners and customer care.
We were referred by our friend about Safari update and after checking their websites and social media pages we decided to use Safari update Travels as a preferred tour company to organize a short 4 days and 3 nights safari since she had worked with them earlier this year. From the start of our plan, everything was smooth.Xavier worked with us to ensure all details were well noted, and whenever we needed clarification, he quickly responded.
Our guide Frank was the best, jovial, knowledgeable, well conversant of African wildlife and more so funny.
We saw big 4 except from Rhino, which is common not to be seen while on a safari. We also enjoyed the wildbeest migration.Wow, just Majical.
We stayed at Jambo Lodge, everything was awesome. Food, accommodation, friendly services and staff.
We highly recommend SAFARI UPDATE TRAVELS for this safaris. They guys are just on another level!!
We will travel with you again and again

Unprofessional
AVOID SAFARI UPDATES IF YOU CAN BY ALL MEANS!!
Safari Updates from the airport picked us in a small car with babies when we paid for a landcruiser to and fro pinning it on non existent chaos. Stalled us at a bar with kids while we waited for a second car on the way to transfer into. At the hotel they had us in a cabin with three beds instead of the promised and paid for new builds in the hotel we were staying. Once we checked in, our contact person went MIA, didnt pick any calls after that. We asked for the difference in refunds and they said nothing.
All these just made the trip not worth it at all!

The worst thing that happened to us was you guys
You lied to us from airport pick up with a land cruiser n sent us a smaller car n squeezed us in with kids. Booked wrong rooms from ones promised during advance booking.worst experience by far

They provide best services and communication from the moment you approach them for a trip till the day of your trip...the trip to masai mara was worth it and I received good services both from the hotel where I was staying to my tour guide..everything surpassed my expectations and I enjoyed.

Great guide and excellent communication
We traveled to the Masai Mara for three days with Safari Update Travels. Silas did a great job of outlining every aspect of the trip in preparation and was extremely responsive to all of our questions both before and during the trip. Because of Mark, our driver and guide, who was quite knowledgeable, we were able to observe a lot of the animals in the Masai Mara. The glass home in Jambo Mara, which featured first-rate amenities, was where we stayed. Please be aware that Jambo Mara's power is turned off between midnight and early morning due to the facility's reliance on solar energy. However, it was cool at night, so we were unconcerned. I heartily endorse Safari Update Travels for relieving us of all our travel worries and making the trip very enjoyable,

An unforgettable experience, we had a great time. A reliable Safari Tour. The Guide, Ken, did an effort to find the big 5.

A weekend I will never forget!
Absolutely fantastic few days in the Maasai Mara. Linsel from Safari Update Travels was excellent in finding me a trip that was within my budget but met (and exceeded) all my expectations! My guide was friendly and knowledgeable and was very good at finding animals. We saw everything including elephants, leopards, giraffes, hippos, ostriches and even a cheetah family. The 4x4 was also a good choice and I would recommend choosing this option over the van as it really makes a difference (both in terms of comfort and in terms of how far off the beaten track you can go). The campsite (Lenchada tourist camp) was rustic but perfect for what I was looking for - felt very much at one with nature! Would highly recommend Safari Update Travels who were super helpful throughout and provided me a really fantastic experience.

This is the best tour company compared to the rest I have engaged before...
Xavier's communication prior and during the trip was dope...Transfers were well organized. He kept in touch with the hotel to ensure his guests were well attended to...

Amazing views of Mt. Kilimanjaro
I highly recommend this tour with Simon he’s an amazing safari guide. We started the drive very early morning since the park is quite far and we wanted to have a better chance of seeing many animals. Along the way we made a stop at a really nice souvenir shop. As we got closer to the park, we were able to clearly see Mt Kilimanjaro which was really exciting. The drive throughout the park was unbelievable. I saw a lot of animals just to mention; elephants and giraffes which are my two favorite animals. After the safari we stopped at the Ol Tukai Lodge campsite for lunch. The restaurant and camp was absolutely beautiful. We were given a tour of the rooms by one of the hosts, they are top notch with beautiful ambience. Before driving back to Nairobi we stopped at the Masai Mara village. I had the chance to interact with the community and experience their culture and day to day activities. Overally I rank this tour a solid 10/10. I don’t think it could have gotten any better. Safari Update Travels are the best!
