Amazing 3 days Safari with our fantastic guide William
We did a 3 days private safari to Nierere Park with William. Everything was very well organised by kihindo Tours and Safaris (for instance transport and accomodation, Mloka lodge). Safari was fantastic, we saw so many animals, thanks to our incredible guide (William). He’s been always kind, available for any question and to explain us animals, plants, traditions of Tanzania. Personally speaking, one of the most beautiful experience in life!

Friendly
We had a different tour but it was cancelled. Then we found this one and from the very beginning they were really friendly and helpful. We had a 24/7 communication and everything was arranged very smooth. I want to thank 1: Transfer drivers (Meshack & Juhudi)
2: Guide in the park (Saloniki).
3: Accompany to the train station (Mercy).

Perfect safari
We used Kihindo for our private 4-day safari in Nyerere Selous National Park. Everything went great! From the first emails I contacted, I found the staff (Winnie and Pilly) very helpful in answering all my questions. Our driver and guide, William, stayed with us the entire safari, taking care of us throughout, in a very professional and kind manner. He was a fantastic driver on muddy roads, which were very difficult to drive on due to heavy rain. We saw many animals: crocodiles and hippos on the river tour and on the overland game drives we saw many giraffes, elephants, lionesses, zebras, and various types of antelope, wild dogs, and an incredible group of hyenas intent on devouring a hippo carcass. The guide's explanations about the animals and the enviroment were complete and interesting, starting from footprints to find them. The bush walk was also interesting for all the healing properties of the plants, explained by another "eccentric" local guide. The lodge was simple but surrounded by nature, with mongooses and squirrels running around the bungalows. It was very conveniently located near the park entrance, and the food was tasty and plentiful. I would recommend Kihindi and the guide William to anyone looking for the perfect safari!

Eric was so nice! All the Tour was really good organized.
We found the Kihindo Tours on Google and read a few rewievs about it and decide to book it. It was amazing!
We landed in dar es Salaam and slept a Night in a Hostel Near By. In the Morning Eric our guide picked us up und droved us to the nyerere national Park.
The Lodge was huge and lunch was directly Served. After that we had a boat Safari. The next day we started early in the Morning for the Game Drive. Lunchboxes were with us and we had always breakfast and Dinner! All of the staff from the Lodge were so nice and we really felt comfortable and they took good care of us! Everything was pretty good Organizee. Big big thanks to eric, he was so nice! We would Highly recommend Kihindo Tours! Also big thanks to pilly, she managed it all around. Thank you so much! Great safari, even BETTER GUIDE!
We have just been dropped off at the airport by our amazing Safari Guide after an incredible 3 days in Nyerere National Park. We booked this trip only 2 days before arriving from Zanzibar, the prompt responses and communication (1am request & response) is why we chose this company, we received outstanding service before arriving for our safari, and altered the itinerary to suit our desires no problem at all.
The safari itself was incredible, such beautiful scenery, incredible wildlife, and quite often the only vehicle driving in much of the national park, which was amazing!
Our guide/driver's name was Michael (highly suggest you request), he was so knowledgable and went off-road driving in difficult conditions due to previous rains, to try find the animals we were keen to find. We felt so safe around the wildlife and on the roads in his hands. We only had 3 days with him which waa a shame as he quickly became a good friend. But we will sure be back and 100% be choosing this company and Michael for our future safaris, we recommend you do the same!

Absolutely faultless- perfection
We have been blown away by the experience we received using Kihindo!
The communication from Philly through has been excellent. The value for money aswell we couldn’t believe!! We have experienced some unfortunate things during our travels across Africa in the past and we were so blown away by how amazing you all were. The logistics even when we changed our plans with our luggage, was managed excellently. All of your staff were so friendly and helpful and on time.
Thank you to our driver who took us back to Dar- sorry we didn’t catch the name - with the Beard!
And our safari guide Danford- he made our game drives so special, giving us lots of facts about the animals, searching for lions all over for us each day, even though we had spotted the big 5 on day 1!

Amazing!
We did the 2 day 1 night safari in Mikumi and it was amazing.
First of all the booking team is great and will make sure to have the best possible journey thank you Pilly!
They took care of us all the way from the beginning pick up from the hotel to the SGR train to Mikumi and same for the back journey.
As for our guide Saloniki he was amazing and gave us a very memorable experience with so much knowledge about the animals. We saw them all in the 2 days and I told Saloniki how much I love lions the most and he did his best to find them and ended up seeing many which I’m so grateful for! He always ensured we are happy! Thank you Saloniki ❤️ he also ensured we have the most time to game drive and was so punctual!
As for the camp we stayed at camp lilac, the tented room is amazing and has everything you need in it I wish we spent more nights ! The staff was very nice as well.
Everything about this trip was just perfect, you would be missing out on an amazing experience if you don’t book with them ! I will be booking with them again for sure and recommending them, thank so much for this wonderful experience !

Everything flows smoothly
My first contact was with Pilly, who personalized our experience, and I can say that the whole process with Pilly was very helpful and easy.
Pilly redid several proposals until we got what we wanted, we paid the deposit with complete confidence, the transfers were all on time with our name in the right places and were always very helpful and friendly as well.
When we arrived at the park, we met Nuhu, who is an incredible person!
He made a HUGE effort to ensure we saw all the animals in the park, taught us a lot about wildlife, told us stories about his village... It was incredible!
I knew that going on a safari would be one of the experiences of my life, but I feel lucky to say that Pilly and Nuhu were part of it.

More than perfect!
We did the „4-Day 3 Nights Budget Safari to Mikumi and Ruaha NP by Train“
From the very first contact on Kihindo Tours won us over with their friendly, detailed and clear communication, which remained like that during the whole journey. We had some small wishes beforehand and although we just booked the day before, Pilly could work out everything at its best. From receiving Train Tickets, all the pick ups and drivers, everything was just perfectly arranged.
The Safari Trip itself turnt out better then we could have ever expected. First of all our Guide Davis is an amazing, knowledgable, fun and professional guide with 20yrs experience. He knows what he does at any time, always while respecting nature and his human surroundings. Davis loves his job and that shows! We couldn't be happier having you as our guide!
Also the camps we stayed in were according to our price level perfectly fine and we felt safe at any time. Every meal inside the national parks was arranged and included - and also very good, water was available throughout the whole day.
All in all it was a more than perfect experience and I wholeheartedly recommend Kihindo tours (and Davis) to everyone!
