Great tour, amazing staff and experience and top customer care
Amazing experience and can’t wait for my next safari.
The entire trip was very well organised and communicated well from the team. The safari was beautiful! We managed to see all of the animals inc. lions, hippos, giraffes, zebras, buffalo and more. It was a great day.
Our guide Saloniki was very knowledgable and friendly and made the experience even better. He answered all of our questions and looked after us well.
Pick up and drop off were also very timely and organised which made the whole trip very easy with nothing to worry about.
Will be telling my friends and would definitely go again. Great value for money.

This tour was fantastic!
We saw so many amazing animals (often very close!), and Danfort was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide. He shared facts about each animal and seemed to know exactly where to find all the animals! We were lucky to see many elephants, giraffes, and lions! This was a fantastic tour, and we had an amazing day!

Kihindo tours deserves more than 5 stars! My wife and I took our 7-year old son and 13-year old daughter on a 2-day safari (1 day to see the animals and 1 day for a beautiful hike through the Uluguru mountains). Our experience was absolutely wonderful from beginning to end. Everyone we met from Kihindo tours was extremely helpful and pleasant. We saw so many animals (6 lions) and loved our hike. The food was amazing everywhere, our lodging was beautiful, and service was excellent. We highly recommend Kihindo tours!

If you’re hesitating to book a safari tour, don’t!
We’ve had an incredible experience with Kihindo from start to finish. Within the hour of submitting a request for a quote, Winnie sent us an itinerary. She was helpful and quick to respond, and made booking onto the tour a breeze.
We were picked up in Dar es Salaam by Adam, who is very conscientious and friendly. The journey to Mikumi and back was very smooth thanks to him.
We’re so glad to have had Saloniki as our safari guide. He knows so much and is happy to share facts and answer questions. He’s got eagle eyes and would spot animals at incredible distances. We would’ve been happy seeing an animal or two, but ended up seeing elephants, baboons, monkeys, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, buffaloes, lions feasting, a lioness and two cubs, pumbas, impalas, and much more. Saloniki was so quick to get us in and always tried his utmost best to provide us with an exceptional experience. He took photos for us and always asked if we were happy with where to go next, though we were happy to trust his expertise. Overall, Saloniki really made this experience unforgettable with his patience and kindness, and we hope to be back for more safaris to explore all that Tanzania has to offer. Thank you, Saloniki, all the best to you and hope to see you again!!

Kihindo Safaris is reliable and offers great value.
We found it easy and quick to book the safari. Our driver, Adam, communicated information well (timeline for the day, etc) and kindly agreed to take us to an ATM before we started our journey. He was a pleasure to be around and made the drive really smooth. Our guide, Saloniki, made the tour fun and exciting from the beginning. He is very friendly and relaxed and obviously really cares about his work and showing Mikumi’s wildlife to tourists. He has incredible eyesight for spotting animals. We were happy with seeing anything during the tour, including the landscape, but managed to see so much during our first game drive, including two lions having their dinner. Highly recommend this tour if you want an easy, hassle free and exciting time.

Managed professionally , our hotel was little far from train station but they came to pickup us on time , staff (Guides, driver ….) are very helpful.

Fabulous
We had an amazing time on the full day safari and the waterfalls hike. The transfers were so smooth and efficient, staff very kind, welcoming and knowledgeable. We met some inspiring people who gave us a beautiful insight into their culture. Always so quick to respond to messages too! A trip that was well worth the money and the hype, would highly recommend.
