First timers to Africa and first timers on Safari's for 2 ladies travelling
5/5

Cuan of African Ubuntu Safaris looked after us and after discussions of what we expected to see in Africa, he then put together the most amazing tour for us. We were sent loads of information which was very helpful in our everyday conversing. We received first class service here in Australia before leaving and it continued in every port of call. The transfers from one Safari to another in different African countries were extremely efficient. The guides that Cuan had organised for us were extremely knowledgeable and went out of their way to see that we had an amazing tour. We had 7 days various beautiful hotels in Tanzania with safaris during both day and evening, 3 nights in Kenya and 2 nights in Rwanda. We saw every animal, birdlife and ending with the gorillas. Our tour far surpassed our expectations. Definately will not hesitate to recommend African Abuntu to anyone that would be wishing to go to the very beautiful Africa. I would love to return again one day and will be organising through Cuan for the professionalism shown to us.

Simply magnificent Tanzania
5/5

The trip was simply magnificent! Better than our wildest expectations, which were pretty high.

Zanzibar was great - always recommend two nights to allow a full day of wandering Stone Town and eating at Forodani from the street vendors in the evening.

And Pongwe Beach for a few days of R&R was perfect for us - quiet, relaxing, excellent staff, decent food, and a great beach. The snorkeling was disappointing which was the only downside.

The safari on mainland Tanzania was more than we could have every hoped in just about every aspect. Animals, scenery, weather, mosquitoes (not many) tse tse flies (not many).

Hans, the guide from Ranger safaris when we hit the mainland was brilliant. Knowledgable, when he didn't know he would say so (which was not often), fun, judged well how much the six of us wanted to chat (or not). We had very good luck with the travelling group being pretty much on the same wavelength throughout- always need a bit of luck with these tours

The luxury hotels (we had not appreciated how luxurious before we showed up) were excellent facilities, the staff always helpful, and the food generally good (although you get a bit tired of buffets after a while).

And we'd definitely recommend the Arusha Coffee Lodge for the last night for those that need to stay over.

Cuan, thank you very much for all your help in putting this together. We had a great time and look forward to doing it again some time.

I've had the privilege of 2 perfect seamlessly organised life enhancing Africa Ubuntu Safaris trips.
5/5

As already mentioned I've been on 2 Safaris organised by Cuan of African Ubuntu Safaris and am in the process of organising a 3rd trip to South Africa(Kruger).
Your dream of going on Safari to Africa begins to convert to a magical reality on meeting with Cuan, whose African accent, passion and local African knowledge ensure that you're in very capable hands.Cuan has the rare great quality of listening to your every requirement and thus tailors your experience accordingly.
The service and communication supplied is impeccable with any changes to your itinerary accommodated promptly.
A huge advantage in using African Ubuntu Safaris lies in Cuan's intimate African knowledge, his local contacts and crucially ongoing local support as his dad Gerald is stationed in Johannesburg and therefore meets one on arrival-a memorable beautiful personal touch!
My previous trips to Botswana/Zambia(May 2013) and Kruger/Zambia(June 2014 were nothing short of excellent with great organisation of transport, variety of accommodation and superb game viewing.
My wish for all who want to experience the magic of an African Safariis that you contact Cuan at African Ubuntu Safaris.
In doing so you may have the opportunity of meeting the "Big 7".Namely Cuan,Gerald and hopefully the "Big 5".

The service was out standing, Cuan answered every question to make it easy to choose our holiday.
5/5

From the fist email to African Ubuntu Safaris they made sure our holiday was going to be a holiday we would remember for a very long way. The arrangements for our holiday were no effort for African Ubuntu and from the moment we left home to the day we got back all went to plan without a moment of concert. The tour company in South Africa (Thompsons) looked after us first class, and every minute of our safari holiday was more than we expected South Africa is a beautiful country and well worth a visit. Cuan and African Ubuntu Safaris were excellent.
Thanks for the memories!!

From the Maasai Mara to the Northern Serengeti ,Ngorongoro Crater and finishing in Zanzibar.
5/5

I would recommend African Ubuntu Safaris without any hesitation. We planned and booked our recent Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania using Ubuntu. Communication was fantastic and prompt and we organized a relatively complicated Itinerary via email with only one or two telephone conversations. Our safaris were fantastic .We loved the camps that we had chosen( with advice from Cuan from Ubuntu) and everything went to plan. There were no hiccups ,from airport pick ups and tranfers ,to light plane travel between camps . Our Safaris provided us with exactly the kind of experience we were hoping for. This showed great understanding and a wealth of knowledge on behalf of Ubuntu to be able to plan and provide us with safaris that were specific to our expectations. I have and will continue to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris to anyone planning to visit Africa .

a real tour that lives up to all expectations with no unwanted surprises
5/5

our tour was the best holiday we have had . there were no hidden charges, quite the opposite with extras not included in the initial booking .the meals were top class , accommodation likewise . the safari drivers knew their job and worked for the group to enable max viewing of all animals. they became part of the group mixing well and making our trip as pleasant as could be. the itinery was just right - well balanced.
I really believe the success of our trip came at the start with cuon ,he is so passionate about his country and his business which is what convinced me to book with Ubuntu . when we booked they had no reviews and only been operating a couple of months and only contact was via internet. not too appealing , but cuons passion was infectious and we took a chance . best gut feeling ive ever had . do not hesitate to book your holiday --you wont regret it.

Amazing Safaris in Kenya and Tanzania with the best guides.
5/5

African Ubunta Safaris were a very professional group to work with in planning our trip. They were attentive to all our requirements. Every day was a new adventure filled with excitement. Our guides were all special in their own way. Just when you thought you had had the best experience something new was around the next corner. Accommodation, service, food and drinks were another highlight. Ubuntu are to be congratulated for their service. Well done.

The most amazing, incredible, wonderful adventure at the age of 69 that I have ever experienced.
5/5

The experiences that I asked for from African Ubuntu Safaris were met in every way. When I wasn't sure what to include in my adventure Cuan advised me and he was so right. First the adventure camp in the Kalahari, vast open plains and a huge amount of wild life then absolute and utter luxury in the Okavango Delta camp. The contrast in the scenery was incredible, I saw every specie of wildlife I'd only ever imagined, I was extremely lucky. Then on to Victoria falls another wonderful experience, so many hippos! Finally on to the fabulous V & A Hotel in Cape Town for three nights. I was a solo female traveller and felt totally safe every step of the way. The trip was planned as though I was known personally to African Ubuntu Safaris being met on arrival in Johannasburg by Cuans father who stored my luggage (cruising back to Perth) took me to my overnighter met me again after safaris to give me my luggage back. Everyone at the lodges were treated like royalty, best holiday ever and can't wait to do another one!

Holiday of a lifetime.
5/5

i had been dreaming of travelling to Africa for twenty years, and i must say, it was everything i ever dreamed it could be and so much more. Yes i had concerns, being a female solo traveler was the major one. But i shouldn't have worried because i had an amazing stress free adventure. The reason for my stress free adventure was the amazing team at African Ubuntu Safaris who took care of everything, the service was second to none. Everything was arranged for me, all i had to do was show up. The experience in Kenya was a favorite, from the accommodation in tents, the wonderful native guides, the wildlife...simply amazing. Getting to share knowledge with the Masai was an experience i will never forget. Kenya was a favorite, and a place i will happily go back too. In Tanzania i stayed in Lodges, here to every thing was smooth sailing, everything was arranged perfectly. Zambia was a special destination, it was where i did my first African Safari, and i couldn't have asked for more, lions, leopards, elephants, hippos, crocodiles, monkeys and numerous antelopes. What an introduction to Africa it was. I also had a stay in Cape Town, staying at an amazing hotel right on the waterfront, a stones throw to all sorts of activities on offer in this amazing city. African Ubuntu Safaris ensured i was looked after. An added bonus was knowing that should anything go wrong there was ground support just a phone call away in Johannesburg . The service provided by Cuan and his team at African Ubuntu Safaris is exceptional, i would highly recommend using them to help you plan your holiday of a lifetime too. i was o impressed by the service offered i am already planning my next African Adventure and i will definitely be getting the team at African Ubuntu Safaris to work their magic again.

Amazing holiday!
5/5

I travelled in a group of 7 friends, visiting 5 National Parks in Southern Kenya and Northern Tanzania.
From the start of planning our trip in Melbourne Australia, Cuan's assistance and advice was faultless.
We had the trip of a lifetime and the safaris exceeded our expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris and I certainly hope to travel with them again in the future. Thankyou Cuan!
