Africa and Safari Magic by African Ubuntu Safari exceeded all of our expectations.
African Ubuntu Safari was recommended to us by a friend, and as first-time visitors to Africa, we wanted a trip that combined beautiful destinations, great food, comfortable accommodation and unforgettable wildlife experiences. Travelling as a family of three, Cuan took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for and created the perfect itinerary.
Our journey included Cape Town, Victoria Falls and three completely different safari experiences, each offering something unique. We stayed in exceptional luxury tented camps, some accessible only by light aircraft, which made the experience even more special. We enjoyed traditional game drives, an exhilarating speedboat safari along the Chobe River spotting hippos and elephants, and were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five with passionate and highly knowledgeable guides.
What really stood out was the level of service. African Ubuntu Safari regularly checked in throughout the trip and quickly rearranged activities when weather impacted our plans. Every transfer, flight, accommodation and tour ran seamlessly from the moment we arrived in Africa until we flew home to Australia.
We highly recommend African Ubuntu Safari to anyone looking for a personalised and expertly curated African adventure. Their local knowledge, attention to detail and genuine care ensured we were looked after every step of the way and able to enjoy the trip of a lifetime.

My experience was wonderful, adventurous and full of marvellous sights and people.
All the connections - and there were many - worked perfectly.
We began with Capetown then the Garden Route in South Africa and then the great safaris in Botswana, Namibia and Zimbabwe.
As I have said in the second line above, this is a most reliable company. What is organised, comes to pass.
The service was above and beyond all the way - in the hotels and the safari camps.
It is great value for money and it saves so much time compared to organisation by ourselves. We would not know the best connections etc.,
The tour was a great experience. For example, Victoria Falls was a huge volume of water (more than usual, I think, this year) and unbelievable spray (you will need your poncho) but what a wonderful sight.

Cuan planned and delivered an unforgettable African experience that exceeded expectations
We experienced 12 Safari days, in 3 different locations in Zambia, visited Victoria Falls and then moved on to Cape Town. Every aspect of the total experience far exceeded expectations.
All the Safari days provided unforgettable wildlife interactions. The 3 camps were great, and the scenery was spectacular.
The people, accommodation and food were all 6 star.
The guides were outstanding. They became our friends, on a very professional level, whilst passing on all their knowledge and experience.
The included tours in Cape Town targeted the 'must see locations" and was the perfect final section. That was capped off with a short visit to the Wine country before our return home

OUTSTANDING SERVICE AND PROFESSIONALISM!
We just returned from six weeks in Africa - three weeks in Zambia and three in South Africa - the land of our birth. It was sensational in EVERY way. Ubuntu organised our three extraordinary safaris in Zambia, air travel, tours, guides, accommodation and suggested many wonderful excursions for our four Australian friends who travelled with us in both Zambia and the Cape Province. There was not a single detail that was overlooked (and as Africans we know how difficult that is to organise in Africa!) - as 'older' travellers we were supported and always felt safe. Our guides were amazing men, informative and helpful. Our experience was one of wonder and awe - the animals were prolific and up close, in beautiful, peaceful surroundings away from others. The camps in Zambia were exquisite and the staff exceptional. The hotels in the Cape gave us the experience of staying with a favourite family in beautiful surroundings. We came home revitalised, healed and happy - and very, very grateful to Cuan and his Team for this Trip of a Lifetime. WELL DONE!!!

I cannot speak highly enough about Ubuntu! I emailed enquiries to a number of operators and Paul rang me the next day. After 45 minutes on the phone ascertaining what I roughly was looking for and sharing his extensive personal experience of Southern Africa, he had a detailed proposal to me within 48 hours that despite a couple of minor tweaks was exactly what we were hoping for. Paul designed an itinerary that was varied, individualised and thoughtful.
It was the trip of a lifetime! Despite a good number of transfers, internal small flights and other arrangements it went without a hitch. All the tour operators and companies we dealt with were friendly, reliable and efficient leading to a stress free, fantastic experience. Our lodges and safari stays were all so different giving a broad range of environs, wildlife and surrounds. The standard of everything was first rate.
Throughout the entire process Paul was in communication with updates, always available for even the most silly of questions and so helpful. Ubuntu also have staff and contacts in Africa should you need help (we did not) which added a further layer of security and reassurance.
If there was a 6 star rating I would give it.

African Ubuntu Safaris gave us excellent advice and were very helpful snd supportive.
We had a wonderful trip organised by Cuan who took into account our interests. Everything went really well. We visited Kenya, Tanzania and the area around Victoria Falls including the Orduvai Gorge. The friendly African guides were fantastic and incredibly knowledgeable about animals, birds and culture. We came home with great photos and great memories.

We’ve had the most fantastic safari in Kenya and SW Tanzania celebrating two big personal milestones. Paul listened to what was important for us in the planning stage and made recommendations to meet our requirements. He was very flexible when I kept coming up with other areas or ideas as possibilities which we explored them.
The planning and working with someone who knows the territory is a must.
I am very happy to recommend African Ubuntu Safaris and would happily use them again if luckily enough to go on another safari.

Everything was seamless – from the first enquiry through to the very last day, every detail was thoughtfully planned and executed. The itinerary was spectacular in every way: breathtaking landscapes, incredible wildlife encounters, beautiful and varied accomodation, and attentive staff who made us feel so well cared for.
We never had to worry about logistics or timing – everything just flowed perfectly, allowing us to relax and immerse ourselves fully in the adventure. It was beyond our expectations.
