True professionalism and attentiveness
We had an absolutely unforgettable safari experience with Telly Africa Safaris during our game drive in Mikumi National Park. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organised, allowing us to fully relax and enjoy the beauty of the wildlife and landscapes.
We were due to fly into Nyerere NP for a one day, private game drive however due to a technical fault with the aircraft the flight was cancelled by the airline.
Telly Africa Safaris did everything in their power to ensure that we got to mainland Tanzania and booked us on a flight the very next day however to Mikumi NP instead. We were not disappointed…
A special thank you goes to the organiser, Happy Mukas, whose professionalism and attentiveness truly made the trip exceptional. Every detail was thoughtfully planned, and she was always available, ensuring we were comfortable, informed, and having the best possible experience throughout the safari.
The guide was knowledgeable, the vehicle was comfortable, and the entire journey felt safe, smooth, and well-coordinated. We saw incredible wildlife and created memories that will last a lifetime.

Outstanding Safari Experience from Start to Finish
We had the most incredible 5-day safari with Telly Africa Safari and honestly couldn’t recommend them more highly.
From the very beginning, everything was extremely well organised and seamless. We specifically wanted to book with a local operator after doing our research, and we’re so glad we chose Telly Africa Safari. Salome was our first point of contact and she was fantastic — responsive, helpful, and she organised everything perfectly, including our airport pick-up and drop-off. The whole process felt smooth, straightforward and stress-free.
Our guide and driver, Davie, was exceptional. His knowledge of the animals and birds was outstanding, and you could really tell how passionate and experienced he is. He always positioned the vehicle perfectly for sightings and was so patient and attentive. Nothing was ever a problem for him, and he truly made the experience special. We had such a wonderful time with him and learned so much throughout the trip.
The entire safari exceeded our expectations — amazing wildlife, beautiful lodges, and a team that genuinely cares about delivering a fantastic experience.
We would absolutely book with Telly Africa Safari again and would recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Tanzania.

I spent 11 unforgettable days on Safari in Kenya and Tanzania.
Our guide in Kenya is Jimmy, who is full of passion and always manages to stir up the emotions of my parents even if they don't speak English. Jimmy is very professional. He can make some accurate judgments based on the habits of animals, such as telling us that there is a lion pack hidden in some grass that is ready to hunt, even though we cannot see it now. However, the fact proves that it is indeed the case. We greatly admire his accurate judgment of animal behavior.
Our guide Godbless in Tanzania has a different style. He is more steady and doesn't say much, but when you ask for some knowledge about animals, his eyes light up and he becomes particularly willing to share. He said he loves every animal here, and if you see the expression on his face when he says this, you will believe it is true.Moreover, he is very responsible. On the one hand, he is very responsible to us. When my family felt gastrointestinal discomfort, he took the initiative to help us find hot water and solve the problem. On the other hand, what I particularly appreciate is that he is also very responsible towards animals. When other tour guides get too close to the female cheetah carrying cubs, or when people make noise and startle the animals eating, he will stand up and tell people not to do that, not to scare the animals. In the days I spent with him, I often felt touched by his respect and love for nature.
If you, like us, want to delve deeper into the animal ecology of Kenya and Tanzania, then I recommend Telly Safari and make sure to choose Jimmy and Godbles as your guides. A good guide will be the biggest highlight of a trip!

Fantastic experience in the wilderness.
Our safari was a fantastic experience: five days immersed in the wild nature of Tanzania.
The starting point and final destination of our trip was Zanzibar.
We were picked up at our hotel and taken to the airport, from where we flew to Serengeti National Park, where our guides, Brison and Machete, were waiting for us two young men who proved to be excellent guides and wonderful people.
With them we visited five parks: Serengeti, Ndutu, the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara, and Tarangire. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five up close (except for the rhinoceros, which was always very far away), as well as many other animals, including the migration of wildebeest and zebras impressive for the sheer number of animals and the many calves involved. The landscapes were breathtaking: the endless vast plains of the Serengeti, the spectacular scenery of the Ngorongoro Crater, and the wild nature of the other parks, all of which leave a lasting impression because of their beauty.
Throughout the experience, the guides not only allowed us to see all of this but also explained the names and characteristics of the animals as we encountered them.
For the first two nights we stayed in lodges inside the parks, in close contact with nature, hearing the sounds and calls of animals moving during the night. The other two nights were spent in two other beautiful lodges outside the parks; in all of them we found excellent staff and good-quality food.
At the end of our wonderful tour, we were taken back to the airport in Arusha to return to Zanzibar, where we were escorted back to our hotel.
I could go on and on describing this amazing adventure, but I would never stop writing.
In summary, it was truly an unmissable experience for anyone who loves natureone that should be experienced at least once in a lifetime.
I would also like to thank Telly Africa Safari for the organization and for giving us the opportunity to live this wonderful adventure.
Fantastic tour operator and very accommodating
Catherine from Telly Africa Safaris was amazing from start to finish. She organised our one day safari to Selous National park from Zanzibar and made sure that’s everything we wanted was included. We had a great day in the game reserve where we seen 3 out of the big five (elephants, lions and buffalo). We also see zebras which unfortunately were very far in the distance so didn’t get to see them close up but we also see lion cubs which is apparently very rare to see in January, along with baboons, antelopes, giraffes and hippos. We stopped half way through for some lunch which was nice. I requested gluten free as I have coeliac but didn’t feel confident that the server understood what I wanted when I went up even though Catherine had organised this with them. I did take some chicken and rice and I was fine but it was a rather dry and plain but grateful I was able to get something to eat. I did bring some snacks with me also for emergency which I would recommend! Overall it was a great experience. Our transfer driver from our hotel to Zanzibar airport was also very good so shoutout to Augustino, lovely guy!

Perfect organization and realization of a dream

Most incredible experience!
We had the most incredible 5 day safari over the Christmas period across the Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara & Tarangire. Our guide David was amazing, very knowledgeable and respectful of the animals. We were very conscious that our safari that felt ethical and kind towards the animals, and David was the right guy for this. He went above and beyond throughout the trip to make our time really memorable and special!
The months spent planning the safari beforehand were made very easy thanks to Rehema. Every request and amendment was taken on board, and we really had the perfect itinerary with some really beautiful lodges.

Excellent service from A to Z
We've had great time during our 2-day safari with Telly Safaris last week. Perfect organization and service from very beginning and offer customization. Full service including pickup and drop off from/to our hotel in Zanzibar. Out guide was Joel, great person, he showed us everything we wanted.
