Unforgettable Safari experience
Our recent safari experience in Tanzania organised by MAKASA was truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. From the moment we arrived at the national park, everything exceeded our expectations. Exploring the breathtaking landscapes of Ngorongoro crater, Ndutu plains, Tarangire, and witnessing wildlife in their natural habitat was both humbling and unforgettable.
We were incredibly fortunate to see such an amazing variety of animals up close — including lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, and many more. Watching these magnificent creatures roam freely across the plains was something we had only dreamed of before this trip. We also watched the great migration of Wildebeasts. Every game drive brought a new surprise and left us in awe of nature’s beauty.
What made this journey even more special was our guide, Kelvin. His knowledge, professionalism, and passion for wildlife truly made all the difference. He had an incredible ability to spot animals from afar and positioned us perfectly for the best views and photos. More than that, he made us feel safe, comfortable, and excited every single day. He truly played a huge roll in our safari experience and made our safari vacation a unique lifetime memory that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend this experience to anyone who dreams of adventure, nature, and extraordinary moments.

Amazing trip and Makasa made it happen!
From the beginning Makasa provided an unforgettable experience. Our week long trip was well organized. We loved our guide, Kelvin! He was full of information, was an awesome animal spotter, and made everyday wonderful. We loved being present for the wildebeest migration and saw all the animals we had hoped to. Perfect, amazing
We discovered Tanzania in February with the Makasa agency, and this trip was simply incredible: our best trip to date!
The agency was exceptional from beginning to end: always attentive, responsive, offering excellent advice, and able to answer all our questions. They perfectly tailored the itinerary to our desires and travel style, making the experience even more personal and authentic.
We received a warm welcome and stayed in magnificent hotels, always ideally located. We were also fortunate to be accompanied by a French-speaking guide who spoke perfect French, as well as an English-speaking driver with impressive experience: thanks to them, we were able to observe a multitude of animals and learn a great deal about the local wildlife, traditions, and culture.

Through friends we ended up with Makasa — and what a golden tip that turned out to be. This trip had a fantastic structure and really exceeded our expectations every day.
The lodges and tented camps were all beautiful, the food was always good and everywhere we were warm and hospitable. But what really made this trip unforgettable were our guides. In Uganda we traveled with Anna and in Tanzania with Augustino: two great people with a lot of knowledge, a nice click and a calm, safe driving style. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
From the impressive mountain gorillas to the Big Five — and everything in between, including part of the Small Five and the most breathtaking landscapes. This trip was without a doubt the most beautiful we could have wished for.

Made our dream come true
We are an adult couple who wanted a trip of a lifetime. Makasi made all our expectations. The trip was tailored by Selma who made a fantastic day-by-day plan with tips and advice based on our budget and the number of days available. Great follow-up all the way up to the trip. The trip was posted on Travel key, an app that we were on during the entire trip. We traveled in the low season and we would recommend that. You avoid queues, you get close to the animals and see them in peace and quiet, and also the straff in lodges. We saw so many animals that we had not dreamed of in their natural element. We felt safe, were picked up at the right time, experienced no unpleasant situations, everything went according to plan. Our fantastic guide Kevin poured out his knowledge, was an expert in finding animals. He had great knowledge of the names of the different species and their way of life. We had 10 days in 4 different parks and all the parks were different with animals and nature. It is special to get so close to the animals when you spend the night in a tent and can hear all the sounds. We ended with 1 week in Zanzibar. 5 days in Paje on the east coast was incredibly beautiful. Beautiful beaches, but aggressive sellers on the beach were unpleasant. Ended with two days in Stonetown which was fantastic with snorkeling and walking in the city. We have experienced fantastic service all the way. Clean and nice at the various accommodations.

Right from the very start of planning Makasa seemed the obvious choice for us, the communication was fast and easy. They listened and gave us amazing ideas and information.
The whole tour went seamlessly everything they arranged worked out perfectly accommodations were all wonderful ,transport arrangements around Tanzania was arranged and was excellent.
During the trip, makasa was there to help us when we needed to change the itinerary. At all points we felt well looked after and in excellent hands
Good value for money , we came home with no complaints at all only rave reviews.

They organized a unforgettable adventure!
We had a wonderful Safari- and beachtrip in Tanzania, very well organized by Makasa Tanzanian Safaris. We were welcomed at every station of arrival on time, all the transfers took place safe and correct – just perfectly planned! Our agent Zara was very helpful and patient – as we postponed the journey for one year she had to be flexible with us, which she really was... Thanks again, Zara!
Our competent and sympathetic driver Steve, who almost became a family member during the trip, made our adventure in the Serengeti unforgettable, a big thank you to him and Makasa, who has chosen very well for us. The places in Zanzibar (Stonetown and Paje) were perfect – we really liked Maru Maru Hotel in Stonetown and appreciated the uncomplicated and colorful location at the east cost in Mahali Hotel.
Just one hint: Arriving in Zanzibar travellers need a local health insurance, which we did'nt have. It was no problem to pay it at the airport (around 22 Dollars p.p.), but you save time organizing this before.
All in all: We highly recommend this agency and would book again with them for sure!

Amazing experience
Our experience in Tanzania was awesome!
We spent 6 days inland and 6 days in Zanzibar. I would have loved to spend one or two more days to get to know Arusha or other city inland.
Stone town was the only city we visited and it was worth those 2 days. An amazing town.
Zara from Makasa helped us to design a fitted tour based on my limitations/suggestions.
Guides, transfers, accommodations were superb.

Sorry, but I had no much contact to the operater.
The trip was incredibly beautiful. We were 14 days in the mainland Tanzania and 1 week of Sansibar. If I could decide again, I would prefer to stay longer in the mainland and shorter of Sansibar. We had only 1 day in Moshi, 2 or 3 nights would be better for us.
All the drivers were absolutely reiable, drove safely and werde very kind persons, especially Benjamin.
The accommodatins were very good with very friendly staff and wonderful food. We enjoy it very much.
