Unforgettable Safaritrip with our kids!
Makasa arranged a beautiful holiday for us. It was our first time to Tanzania and they did a great job arranging everything for us. The accommodations were very nice, the guide who accompanied us was more than great, the programme day by day were just perfect. We enjoyed the travelling so much because we knew there was nothing we had to think about, everything was arranged in detail. The safaritrips were so nice with our lovely guide and all the animals we were able to see. Makasa knows what people want when they come to Tanzania!

Brilliant!
From "Hello" to "Goodbye" Makasa Safaris provided excellent and professional service in planning and facilitating our safari. We worked with Selma to plan a 3 day trip on rather short notice. Communication was easy and thorough. Selma gave several options at various price points, never rushed us, and was always willing to answer our questions. This was our first trip to Tanzania so it was especially nice to have someone at the other end who fully understood our concerns and interests. Our guide, Tom, was the best - super fun, accommodating and knowledgeable. He was committed to our boys who wanted to see the Big 5 and take pictures of every bird. You will be within feet of lions, elephants, zebras. Your camera will capture amazing memories of giraffes, rhinos, and birds! We learned so much about the animals and habitat from Tom. Dream came true
We, Sonja, Ad and Wibens, had a dream making a safari trip in Tanzania. We visited 4 National Parks (Serengeti, Tarangire, Lake Manyara and Ngorongoro Crater) together with our Guide and Driver David. Who was excellent in finding the animals and above all a very friendly person to travel with. He made our dream came true. Fantastic from beginning to end
Makasa were fantastic, we had the most amazing holiday! We were given all the information, guidance and help we needed from day one. Selma was so reassuring and helpful. Everything that was chosen and booked for us was perfect, all the accommodation was brilliant and the safari and the drivers we had (big shout out and thanks Ali and Fredrick!) were brilliant at their job - so knowledgeable, helpful and very safe drivers too ;-) They had eagle eyes to spot everything and were full of information about the flora, fauna and country. It's been a holiday of a lifetime and it was made by Makasa - we can't thank them enough!

well organized, excellent knowledge and very friendly
Our whole safari was beyond expectations. Makasa was very helpful during the booking process to create a tailor made program. Our guide was very friendly, punctual with a deep knowledge of Tanzanian wildlife and culture. The programme was very balanced. And the lodges suggested by the organization were amazing. An elephantastic safari!!
In januar we met Selma on the vacation market in Utrecht. She informered us very well about the possibilities on a safari. During some emailcontact we got some extra advice for a safari compare our ideas and budget. The safari was, in every aspect, above our expectations. First our excellent guide Humphrey. He was not only funny but know a lot about nature and wild live. Thanks to his exceptionele eyes, we spotted the Big Five(with spouse), the Ugly Five and lots and lots of other animals very close to our car.. Every day he brought some new excitement, took good care of us with nice lunchboxes and good coffee. And after a long safari day we were every time surprises by the hospitality and service of each lodge. The tentedlodges were all very good. We didn't expected so much luxury and very tastefull food.
This safari we will always remember as one of our topvacations. When we go once more to Tanzania we sure go for Humphrey and Makasa!

Amazing 8 Day Safari Trip to Tanzania
I just returned from my 8 day Safari trip to Tanzania organized by Makasa and I have nothing but the best to say about them and the trip.
Prior to the trip, all communication was prompt and clear. Selma with Makasa did a great job of tailoring the trip to my desired length and points, providing helpful suggestions and pointers, and answering any questions I had (including many proactively before I even asked).
The trip itself was incredible. We had some minor flight delays, and despite a lack of communication on my part, Makasa was able to handle my situation with ease.
Our driver, Jamal, picked us up from the airport and immediately made us feel at home and informed. He knew about the animals, the culture, and the landscape. He knew how to safely handle the vehicle. He was able to fine tune or itinerary to specifics of what we wanted to see (animals we hadn't seen on previous days, etc.) and duration during the days and so on. Accommodations were beyond my wildest expectation. We were placed in all TWC properties which were amazing and put as at ease. This trip was supposed to be a vacation, but I had expected it to be a little rugged; our accommodations made us feel as relaxed as if we were staying at a beach in the Caribbean.
I will note that I have never been on a safari or to Tanzania previously, so I lack the ability to compare to other offerings. That said, the homework I did before choosing Makasa seemed to indicate they were competitive on price and at the top of the charts in terms of service, and given how my trip went, I still hold these feelings.

Excellent communication prior to safari. Above and beyond expectations. Highlights were tented camps in Ndutu and Serengeti.Guide knowledgeable and very pleasant.Staff in all lodges and camps very welcoming.Service to and from airport in Kilimanjaro excellent . A once in a life time,never to be forgotten experience.
