Every step of the process was well-coordinated
We booked an 8-day tour here, and the trip was very smooth and enjoyable overall. Every step of the process was well-coordinated, and the driver was always very accurate in locating the animals. We successfully saw the Big Five, lions feeding, leopards climbing trees, zebras crossing rivers, and more. It was an amazing trip, and we would definitely consider booking services here again next time we're in Africa.

A Dream Kenya Safari for Wildlife Photographers
We spent 10 unforgettable days in Kenya with Extra Miles, combining a Mount Kenya trek and a full overland safari journey. As photography enthusiasts carrying a huge amount of camera gear, we care a lot about flexibility, safety, guide experience, and attention to detail — and Extra Miles exceeded our expectations in every way.
Joseph was incredible from the very beginning. Unlike many operators, he never tried to push unnecessary upgrades or inflate the budget. Instead, he patiently helped us optimize the trip within our budget, gave thoughtful advice on lodges and routing, and replied to questions extremely quickly throughout the entire planning process. Even during the trip itself, he checked in with us daily to make sure everything was going smoothly, which we had never experienced before with any other safari company.
Our guide and driver, Felix, was outstanding. Calm, experienced, and extremely reliable. During rainy season conditions, we saw many other vehicles get stuck or struggle on difficult roads, but Felix handled everything smoothly and safely. Long drives were always comfortable, the vehicle was cleaned every morning despite the mud, and he constantly adjusted schedules around weather conditions to maximize our safari experience.
As photographers, we especially appreciated how patient and supportive Felix was during game drives. He helped position the vehicle for the best angles, stayed in communication with other guides to track wildlife sightings, and never made us feel rushed while shooting.
We saw incredible wildlife throughout the trip, including cheetah families, elephants, lions, giraffes, hyenas, and even a python swallowing an antelope. But beyond the animals themselves, what made the experience unforgettable was how smooth, thoughtful, and genuinely personal the entire journey felt.

This was my first safari, and I spent three months carefully selecting a local team in advance. Extra Miles was my final choice among many, primarily due to the outstanding performance of Joseph during our communication.

Morris immediately took us to see it.As a result, we witnessed a beautiful cheetah passing right in front of our vehicle, less than 3 meters away. It was truly breathtaking! Without Morris’ flexibility and quick thinking, we would have missed such a clear view of the cheetah.
All in all, Joseph and his team made our safari experience in Amboseli absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Highly recommended! Our guide, Simeng, was reserved and didn't talk much, but he was a very nice person and extremely professional! He had eyes like an eagle on the savanna, able to spot animals at any time, even leopards in the trees—he had all five of the Big Five! Everything was incredible from start to finish, the booking and planning process was made so easy by Joseph, I told him what I wanted and my budget and I got exactly what I wanted, I was also greeted and briefed at the hotel by Joseph along with madam Melissa and they were both lovely and helpful and explained everything perfectly aswell as giving me some cool information about where I am and where I was going, Joseph kept in touch throughout my trip to ensure I was okay and everything was going well, very professional and reassuring and made the process so easy!
Peter collected me from the airport and dropped me at my hotel and also ensured i got to the airport safely at the end of my trip at 6am as I had to stay over in nairobi again on my last day, he made me feel very comfortable and safe and even completed my check in process at both airport to ensure he left me with total peace of mine.
Now for my tour guide in the masai mara, Eric, what an incredible guide! First and foremost as a female solo traveller he made me feel instantly comfortable and safe, he was very professional and very informative but also fun and interactive, I couldnt have wished for a better guide, iv done many safaris and he was by far the best of the best! He was very knowledgeable and taught me so many things! He was very sure to make sure I was okay throughout the whole trip. We saw lions eating a buffalo, cheetahs, leopard, hyenas, hippos, all kinds of antelope, many different birds, Warthog, elephants, giraffe, zebra, lions in the road, rocks hydrax, buffalo, the list goes on! It seemed like anything I wanted to see he found, I know in the wild it is not always possible but somehow with Eric it was. He taught me alot about everything we saw and went above and beyond to make sure my dream trip to Kenya was everything I ever wanted, he exceeding all expectations and now I want to come back asap.
