Excellent
I had an incredible 8-day trip in Uganda with Chris and Moses from Native Africa Tours, and I can’t recommend them enough.
From the very beginning, Chris and Moses built a fantastic itinerary and carefully selected beautiful lodges that made the whole experience comfortable and memorable. Everything was well organized, and throughout the trip they were always attentive, helpful, and genuinely caring. No matter what we needed, they were there to help with a smile.
The highlight of the trip was fulfilling a lifelong dream — gorilla trekking. It was an unforgettable experience, and I’m so grateful to Chris and Moses for making it possible and ensuring everything went smoothly.
If you’re planning a trip to Uganda and want a well-planned route, great accommodations, and wonderful guides who truly care about your experience, I highly recommend Native Africa Tours.
Thank you, Chris and Moses, for an amazing adventure and memories that will stay with me forever!

Life changing experience
This was an impactful experience. Coming from the US, I flew into Kigali, Rwanda, was picked up and driven to Uganda. As a solo woman traveler, I felt incredibly safe. George was great company. Communication was easy. I chose Uganda over Rwanda because pricing was better. Be sure to get your East Africa Tourist Visa from the Ugandan government website only. I recommend the 4 hour habituation permit. The trekking uphill was difficult as an inexperienced hiker. Staff was incredibly patient and kind. Our guide was educational. There is great work being done here for conservation. Highly recommend. It will stay with you for life.

Customized trips and professionality
Native Africa Tour is an Amazing tour operator: they customized our trip, with great suggestions and they are very organized and precise. Our guide, Chris, is very well prepared and always answers to all our questions and curiosities; he brought us also to secret spots to admire the landscapes and help us in watching animals very closely. Also the lodges were all fantastic!
I really recommend to come to Uganda with this magic team!

Best tour agency
We had an unforgettable Rwanda-Uganda road trip thanks to this incredible tour agency! From the very first email, Moses was exceptionally helpful and patient. He guided us through the entire planning process, helping us choose the right accommodations, crafting a smooth and well-balanced route, and even securing our gorilla trekking permits. No matter what questions we had about Rwanda or Uganda, Moses was always there with clear, honest, and thoughtful answers. His support made the preparation completely stress-free.
Once on the road, we were lucky to be accompanied by Chris, our tour guide in Queen Elizabeth National Park. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the wildlife and landscapes of the region. Chris spotted animals we would have never noticed on our own and shared fascinating insights about the park’s ecosystems, making the experience both exciting and educational. His nwarm personality made us feel safe and well cared for throughout.
To top it all off, after the tour we even went for a drink together—Moses, Chris, and us, making the whole experience feel even more personal and memorable.
The entire journey, from Rwanda’s rolling green hills to Uganda’s breathtaking savannah, was seamless, well-coordinated, and full of unforgettable moments. We couldn’t have asked for a better team or a better adventure.
Highly recommended to anyone looking for a well-organized, personalized, and truly unique African tour.

Life-Changing Week in Uganda
My week in Uganda was absolutely wonderful — truly a life-changing experience from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, seamless, and filled with moments I’ll never forget. Moses created the perfect itinerary for me, thoughtfully including everything I had hoped to see — and so much more. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely taken care of.
The accommodations Moses selected were outstanding — each one unique, comfortable, and full of character, with the warmest hospitality. Every lodge was surrounded by incredible nature, making each evening peaceful and magical after a day of exploring. Even the long drives between destinations were comfortable and enjoyable, thanks to the spacious, well-maintained vehicle that made it easy to take in Uganda’s stunning scenery.
My guide, Racheal, was an absolute angel — there truly are no other words to describe her. I was traveling solo, and she made me feel like I was exploring with a dear friend. We shared so many amazing conversations during our drives, and her love, pride, and deep knowledge of her country were inspiring. Her energy and enthusiasm made every moment special and unforgettable.
The excursions and safaris were unforgettable — from watching elephants, lions, giraffes, and hippos in their natural habitat to cruising along beautiful waterways filled with wildlife. Every day brought a new adventure, perfectly timed and thoughtfully guided.
And as the grand finale, I had the incredible opportunity to take part in the Mountain Gorilla Habituation experience — truly one of the most profound moments of my life. Spending extended time with a gorilla family in their natural environment was humbling, emotional, and beyond words. It was the perfect ending to an already extraordinary week.
I can’t thank Moses and Racheal enough for making this journey so meaningful and memorable. Their care, organization, and genuine passion turned a dream trip into something I’ll carry in my heart forever. Uganda is a place of breathtaking beauty and even more beautiful people — I’ll be forever grateful for this experience.

Beyond any expectations
I had a truly unforgettable experience with Native African Tours, and I can’t recommend them enough. From the very beginning, it was clear that this is a locally based company that genuinely cares about their clients. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and constant communication made me feel confident and supported throughout the entire process.
Despite giving them very short notice, they went above and beyond to arrange a wonderful trekking excursion to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Getting gorilla permits on such short notice is no small feat, but they made it happen—and the result was a trip I’ll never forget.
Moses deserves special recognition—he managed all the logistics seamlessly and kept in close contact with me every step of the way, always making sure everything was in place and adapting to my needs with genuine care. And Chris, my guide, was simply outstanding. Warm, knowledgeable, and full of good energy—he made the trek not just smooth, but truly special. The lodges we stayed throughout the trip exceeded everything I had in mind: incredible views and the nicest and warmest service.
If you're planning a visit to Uganda, you can trust Native African Tours to arrange the best trip you can have. They’re passionate, reliable, and deeply committed to sharing the beauty of their country in the most authentic and meaningful way. And you will be supporting local businesses.
Thank you, Moses and Chris, for showing me a side of Uganda I’ll always carry with me.

Unforgettable Uganda Trip – February 2025
Our seven-day tour through Uganda was an absolutely unique experience! From breathtaking wildlife encounters to fascinating moments in nature – every day held new highlights.
Right at the beginning, we had the incredible opportunity to see rhinos up close at the Rhino Sanctuary. In Murchison National Park, we witnessed Africa’s wildlife in all its glory: lions, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and even a hyena crossed our path. Another highlight was Kibale National Park, where we had a close-up encounter with chimpanzees in their natural habitat. But the absolute highlight of the trip was the gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park – an unforgettable and deeply moving experience.
A huge thank you to our amazing guide, Rachel! She drove us safely through the country, shared fascinating insights into Ugandan culture and daily life, and made the journey truly special. Everything was perfectly organized – from the accommodations to the well-planned itinerary.
This trip was a dream come true, made possible by excellent organization. We can highly recommend it – an unforgettable adventure!
