Chimp trek was an unforgettable beautiful experience
5/5

We booked a Chimp Trek in Gombe National Park with Hamis. If you are thinking about it, just do it! You will not regret the experience. The experience was so special, and the best part of our 20 day trip in Tanzania. We spent about 3 days and 2 nights at Lake Tanganyika. which is beautiful, calm, and remote. Then you spend an evening in Kigoma — we wish Hamis organized an activity for us there. At the lake, there are not many tourists there, so you feel removed from the whole world. The tented lodge at Lake Tanganyika is less fancy than some of the safari lodges, but totally fine for 2 nights., Hamis was very helpful in booking the flights we needed. He was also very communicative over WhatsApp. All parts of the trip were very well organized. When we finally go on our two chimp treks, every time we see a chimp, it is amazing. You can spend a lot of time watching them and taking photos. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the chimps and we learned a lot about their behaviors and families. Yes, the experience is potentially more expensive than other safari options, but it is so unique that I still recommend it even for the price.

Amazing time!
5/5

Absolutely amazing experience. Our guide Penda was so knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we saw what we wanted to see (he also tells the best stories!). We looked at so many companies prior to going and we were so happy with Colours Africa as we had an awesome experience and found the price to be the most reasonable!

Very well organised tour that definitely exceeded our expectations!
5/5

My friend and I booked a 6-day safari tour with Colours Africa which ended being an amazing and unforgettable experience for us.
To begin with, the communication with Godlisten beforehand was very smooth and he was willing to help us design the best possible itinerary according to what we had already researched for. We decided to visit Tarangire, Serengeti for 3 days, Ngorongoro and lake Manyara. We had 2 nights in a lodge and 3 nights in a camping site inside the parks which I think was a very good choice if you are feeling comfortable with camping in the wild. The first day our guide was Freddie and for the rest was Joseph, both of them were very knowledgeable, could spot animals super easily and were willing to engage with us and answer to our million questions. Having Joseph for 5 days in total definitely made our trip an even better experience.
In case you want to get a flight in the last evening of your safari, make sure to book the latest possible and try to put some pressure to everyone because as you will understand things in Tanzania are working '' Pole Pole'' which means ''slow slow'' and is literally true.
If I could change one thing in our itinerary afterwards, it would be to skip Lake Manyara and add one more day in Serengeti since in the lake there were really few animals and is not the easiest ground for the more fascinating animals for us tourists.
Overall, Colours Africa and Godlisten is a highly reccommended tour agency for you to organise an unforgettable experience in north Tanzania.

Amazing
5/5

For our first safari we relied on Godlisten and his team. Colours Africa Tours was perfect in everything both in fulfilling our requests before the safari and especially for the whole safari. Benjamin was an excellent and knowledgeable guide who accompanied us for 4 days on the game drive. The moments and emotions we experienced were unique and indescribable. The accommodation was perfect and in line with our expectations. Chef mjomba Sulè :-) unique prepared excellent and really good lunches and dinners for us. The search for our safari was difficult but now I can really be proud and happy that we chose Colours Africa Tours. I recommend everyone to trust them and you will not be disappointed.

Fast responder, adjusts itinerary based on request and well organized
5/5

What an AMAZING safari experience! Well organized, professionally managed and stress free tour with all big 5!

BEST Tour Organizer : We had brief discussion about my tour day before my safari which helped me trust him more. He was very quick responder so I had all my questions answered when I was in the US.

BEST Safari Driver/Guide: Livin Macha is very expert in wild life. He drove extra miles to show us all the animals with a right angel. We saw all big 5!

BEST Service : Food, camps, lodges and crew - everything was perfect! I had best time in camp site sleeping with lions roaring sound. Lodging was clean, with hot water shower and towels. Staff was kind, considerate towards our request. We had extra sleeping bags and mattresses - I used them because it got cold in campsite. Water was supplied.

BIG 5 : saw all big 5, even Rhino! Chita hunting dear, loins hunting dears, failed hunting act by crocodile but chase was very good etc. Colours Africa managed our group very well, we became family and last day was very emotional with our guide. Watching wild animals from so close was the best life experience I could have.

Extra Service: Godlisten was very flexible in adjusting my itinerary. He provided me car pick-up and drop off for my adhoc request.

STRONGLY recommended Safari tour. In Tanzania, you need perfectly organized tour to have best experience.

Extremely helpful and efficient n dealing with unique circumstances
5/5

I was on a recent USAID trip to Tanzania and wanted to include a climb of Kilimanjaro and safari. Godlisten was highly responsive to our unique needs and took the time to understand what our team wanted and the constraints we were under. Colours Africa put together an excellent itinerary for both summitting Kilimanjaro and getting a wonderful visit to Ngorongoro Crater at reasonable cost. Colours Africa set us up with 2 excellent guides, Macoi and Emmanuel, who were very knowledgeable and fun to talk to. They were assisted by Tuesday, who was one of the porters, but is hoping to be certified as a guide, soon. Tuesday was a wonderful leader and ambassador and I'm sure will join the ranks of the guides in the near future. The entire team of guides, cooks and porters was very friendly, efficient, and helpful and made the entire experience in Africa absolutely delightful. We asked for a few last-minute changes and Godlisten was very responsive and came through with accurate and insightful advice on what would meet our needs. We came to fully trust Godlisten's recommendations on what accommodations to pick as he really paid attention to our needs. The Hhando Coffee Lodge was one example of a hidden gem that we didn't expect. There were even elephants snacking on trees in the valley adjacent to the lodge!

From our very first exchanges until the end of the safari, impeccable!
5/5

Communications with Godlisten were simple, clear and easy. He answered all our questions well.
Despite the delay of our flight and our arrival after midnight, the transport from the airport to our hotel was well organized, a person was waiting for us with a poster on which was our name.
The next morning, Godlisten came to meet us at our hotel to explain the operation and planning of the safari. He answered all our questions well. He is a good person who listens to the needs of his customers.

Bulldozer (nickname of our guide) (yenye misukosuko) picked us up from our hotel. He knows the animals and the flora well, he gave us a lot of interesting and complete explanations. He is caring, he was open to our needs and what we wanted to do and see. His driving was excellent as the roads are very rough especially in the Serengeti. He took good care of us during the 6 days we spent with him.
We had a great time with Bulldozer, lots of laughs, great discussions. He also told us about how life is in Tanzania. We felt like we were sharing these moments with a friend. We had a great bond. His presence was a great addition to our experience.
The planning was respected to the letter, the accommodations were those chosen. On our return to Arusha, Godlisten came to meet us at the hotel and we were able to review our experience. He is very professional and friendly.
We loved the following parks: Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngonrogoro Crater. The landscapes are magnificent and very different. Animals are present in large numbers and often very close to the vehicle.
Colors of Africa is trustworthy and I highly recommend doing business with them.

Perfect score for our 2nd safari
5/5

Guide
Our Bulldozer Guide was more than great and it was thanks to his experience and skills that we were able to see some animals that we had not seen on our first safari. He is attentive to his customers, often asks if everything is going well in addition to being pleasant company. He speaks good English (in addition to 5 other local languages) which makes contact easy throughout the safari. At our request, Bulldozer gave us lots of information about the animals we were seeing and that made the safari even more wonderful and informative. It has an impressive amount of information about all the animals we saw including birds.
In addition he is an outstanding driver and this is quite important in the roads going to the Serengeti which are very very bumpy (misukosuko!!) My next safari will certainly be with him, I can only warmly recommend this wonderful man. Asante Sana Bro :)

Tour operator
Planning the safari with Godlisten was very easy and enjoyable. He was a great help in personalizing our experience. What I appreciated the most was his transparency, his patience in answering all my questions and his kindness before, during and even after the safari. One thing that I greatly appreciated is the respect of everything that was agreed in the submission (proposal) both in terms of accommodation and certain details requested. There were no nasty surprises. I highly recommend Colors Africa because they know how to listen to their customers in order to make their experience as perfect as possible.
Thanks to the whole team!
