We had an absolute fabulous time
Hi Michelle,
We had the most wonderful time in Tanzania in August. The Lamai camp you choose for us was perfect, we were lucky enough to see the herds of wildebeest and three river crossings and so much other game. We enjoyed Ngorongoro Crater, thanks for the tip about the warm jacket! All the transfers and flights worked out perfectly and the Nomad guides were excellent. Thank you very much. We cannot wait to return to Africa one day soon.

Michelle made planning our trip so easy and arranged a trip that far exceeded our expectations
My husband and I travelled to the Serengeti for our 10 year wedding anniversary in August 2022. Michelle from Explore and Travel Africa made the planning so easy and helped arrange the most unforgettable trip. She listened to all our wants and found the camps that best suited our needs while staying within our budget. We stayed in the Nomad camps starting in the Ngorongoro crater which was so unique and spectacular, a must see. Their rooms have everything you need for a very comfortable stay. It got windy and cold in the evenings so be sure to pack something warm. Then we flew up to the northern Serengeti staying in the Lamai Nomad Camp. The rooms were very large, luxurious and private. I can’t rave enough about the staff and their attention to detail, friendliness and always willing to help with anything you might need or want during your stay. The food in both camps was absolutely delicious. We were served traditional Tanzanian food a few times and you will not be disappointed, soooo good. The guides in both camps were very professional and knowledgeable. I am lucky enough to have been on safari a few times in other African countries and I was so impressed. This was a trip of a lifetime for us and we had very high expectations. Michelle continued great communication during the trip making travel days between camps easy and stress free. I would highly recommend both the service of Michelle from Explore and Travel Africa and the Nomad group of camps.

I have been using Explore & Travel Africa several times, always requesting some complex to organize trips, sometimes crossing several countries and they proved to be reliable partner. Last time they organized my trip to South Africa. It was tailored made tour, combining exploring the country, shark cage diving and game sarari. Outstanding
Michelle and the Explore & Travel Africa team exceeded expectations in every way. My wife, her family (10 people total) and I visited South Africa in March 2022 and Michelle planned the perfect 5-day safari holiday at Simbavati Hilltop for the family. She handled everything including pricing for the trip, communication with the lodge, one-way flights from Cape Town to the safari location, transfer from the airport to the lodge and outbound transfers and flights from Johannesburg back to the US. The lodge itself was 5-star and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for luxury yet authentic safari experience. Michelle from Explore and Travel Africa was amazing. She organised everything for us and the trip was absolutely seamless. We didn't have to think about anything as she organised it all. She was also very flexible to our needs.
Explore and Travel Africa provided all of the information we needed for the trip so it was easy. We didn't know much about South Africa or safaris so we didn't even know where to start and were a little bit nervous, but it was obvious from the first interaction that she had lots of experience and suggested the best accommodation and services based on what we were looking for and our budget. We had lots of questions and she was very helpful and responsive every time. We requested lots of quotes from other tour operators and hers was the best value for money. She also gave us an option for doing 2 nights in one place and 2 nights in another which other companies didn't suggest. We took this option and we are so glad we did!
