Professionalism at its finest!
I just finished spending the most incredible week with the guides from Savannah Explorers. They were so professional and well-organized. They were well prepared and took care of everything! You could not want for anything! They were punctual and kind and so concerned with ensuring that we had a great time. We were very fortunate to have Nickson as our guide. He was so pleasant to be around and clearly very experienced. He was always checking in with us to make sure we were doing okay and was letting us know what to expect. We saw every animal we wanted and were even so lucky to witness the Great Migration of the Wildebeest as they crossed the Mara River. Poor Nickson had to spend the week with 7 women who he handled like a pro. He was key to giving us a once in a lifetime experience. We are forever grateful to him.

An unforgettable family safari, perfectly organized from beginning to end
We travelled as a family of four with two young daughters, and our safari with Savannah Explorers exceeded all our expectations. Our itinerary took us through Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, Central Serengeti and the remote North Serengeti, near the Mara River.
Each area offered something completely different. In Tarangire we were surrounded by magnificent baobab trees and large herds of elephants, some of them only a few metres from our vehicle. We also saw a leopard, a lioness and many other animals. Ngorongoro was spectacular, while the endless plains of the Serengeti gave us unforgettable encounters with wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and many other species.
One of the absolute highlights was the hot-air balloon safari over the Mara River in the North Serengeti. Flying low over such a varied landscape and watching the wildlife from above was a unique and magical experience.
A very special thank you goes to our guide and driver, Davide. He was professional, knowledgeable, patient and always accommodating. He paid particular attention to our daughters and did his best to fulfil every request they made. He also explained the secrets of nature in a simple and engaging way, including animal behaviour and the fascinating symbiotic relationships between different species. The girls listened to him with great interest and learned so much during the journey.
The organization, transportation and choice of accommodations were excellent throughout the trip. We always felt safe, comfortable and well looked after. Savannah Explorers created a truly memorable family adventure, and we would recommend them without hesitation.

Our driver guide Isaac was really perfect in all camps ( driver, teacher, guide).
He who seeks finds :) All requests were fulfilled. Sokio is always excellent and reliable.
The tour was very diverse. The Arusha-Maasai Mara route was a bit long. Otherwise, it was very convenient. Each park had its own unique features, and we were happy to have spent this week in Tanzania with our guide. The tented camp in the Northern Serengeti and the wildebeest migration were the two most fascinating experiences.

Amazing Safari Experience with Big 5 & Annual migration complete. Animals all up close
Our safari guide was incredible for the 6 days - named Maulik. The trip far exceeded my expectations for all of the different and unique animals that we were able to see up close. We were successful to see all of the Big 5 including the White rhinos.
Well worth the price.
Tanzania & Zanzibar are a fantastic vacation and once in a lifetime. So glad my daughter and I did the trip together.
Unforgettable experience
We were very fortunate to have Michael as our guide. He was amazing and incredibly knowledgeable about the animals, and we learned so much from him throughout our safari. He was also very patient and consistently went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful experience and captured great photos of the wildlife we encountered.
The lodge we stayed at was beautiful. The camp at Serengeti was sufficient and had everything we needed. Food and service were pretty good. This company gave us great value for our money.
We highly recommend this company for your safari tours, and we especially recommend Michael as your guide. His expertise, dedication, and passion made our trip truly unforgettable.
