Unforgettable experience
We just completed an unforgettable safari with Dancing Simba Safaris and couldn't be more satisfied. The experience far exceeded our expectations, both for the variety of landscapes and animals we saw, and—most importantly—thanks to our guide, Bulldozer, a true champion.
From day one, Bulldozer proved to be incredibly knowledgeable, always attentive, and with an incredible eye for spotting animals even where it seemed impossible. He explained everything to us with passion: not just the "big five," but also details about plants, birds, and animal behavior… all with an overwhelming warmth that made every day enjoyable and engaging.
The organization was always precise and punctual. Every transfer, accommodation, and meal was well coordinated. A special thanks also to the chef at the rest house who cooked delicious dishes every day.
The tour took us to magnificent places: two days in the Serengeti and one in Ngorongoro. We saw elephants up close, a pride of lions, zebras, giraffes, hippos… a dream come true every day. If you're looking for an authentic, exciting, and well-guided safari, Dancing Simba Safaris is highly recommended. And if you can ask for Bulldozer as your guide... even better!
Rating: 10/10. We'd do it again tomorrow!!!

Fantastic guide, disappointing organisation
We had a wonderful 7-day safari from Arusha, through Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara. It was intense and unforgettable, with too many amazing events and sightings to even begin to list here.
Apart from the magnificent animals and beautiful landscape, the best thing by far about the trip was Hamza, our guide. It would be difficult to imagine a better one: knowledgeable and informative, patient and helpful. He seems to know every inch of the parks, and worked hard to find us every animal we hoped to see, including crocodiles, tree-climbing lions and leopards. Moreover, he is a skilled driver, giving us the gentlest of “African massages” but able to cover long distances over dusty roads without ever making us feel unsafe. Being a guide is a tough job demanding a wide range of skills, and we had an intense schedule. Hamza made it all work beautifully, and always with a cheerful laugh or a little joke. If we return to Tanzania, we will certainly look for him again. Hamza deserves 5 stars.
Unfortunately, our experience with Dancing Simba, the booking company, was far less impressive. Poor communication and disorganised, seat-of-the-pants arrangements led to several problems – including a last-minute lodge change that added hours of driving, and a mishandled hotel booking in Stone Town – that effectively spoiled two full days of a relatively short trip. Along the way, we couldn’t help feeling that some decisions, such as the lodge change, may have reflected Dancing Lions’ own interests more than ours. Taken together with various signs of cost-cutting and disorganisation, this really let down an otherwise extraordinary trip.
In short: Hamza deserves 5 stars — but Dancing Simba only 2. Hence the 3-star rating overall.
Asante sana, Hamza!

Wonderful experience -
Kudos to Dancing simba safari for their service and reliability. You can always count on their prompt response. A very good value for money. With them it's possible to live unique and exciting experiences together with competent and very helpful staff. Our guides and drivers Buldozer and Owen were wonderful. Thank you very much.

Expert, helpful and fun!
The Safari experience with Dancing Simbas was something phenomenal. We saw many different animals, including cheetahs and leopards that are shy and difficult to spot, elephants so close you could almost touch them, giraffes, zebras, gazelles and so on. All of this was possible thanks to our guide Ali, who stood out for his professionalism, kindness, helpfulness, friendliness and ability to spot animals at considerable distances. There will never be enough words to thank him properly. A thank you also goes to Bulldozer, the guide of the other jeep, who contributed with his experience and vivacity to make everything even more fun and magical!

Expert tour operator for amazing safaris
I have been on the tour with Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Kilimanjaro. All the safaris were amazing and every day gave me great surprises and emotions: elephants in Tarangire, lions, leopards, cheetahs, hippos and much more in Serengeti, all the animals within a few kilometers in Ngorongoro.
The last day was amazing too on the Kilimangiaro's slopes: banana and coffee plantations, an amazing waterfall and natural pools.
A special thanks to our really experienced and helpful guide Alì and to all the Dancing Simba staff: David, Bulldozer, Joseph and all the others.

Amazing safari experience!
We had an awesome time on our safari! We saw more animals than I could have even imagined! Our guide, Hamza, was incredible and made sure we got a chance to see all we wanted. He took his time with us and had an amazing eye at spotting animals. Would recommend! We did the trip to Ngorongoro rarer which was excellent - so many animals there! Then went onto the Serengeti! Again a great time and lots of animal sightings! Meals and lodging were also excellent!

Everything about the experience was great and we’d highly recommend Hamza as a guide!
Hamza and dancing simbas were a great company to deal with. They provided first class service and even brought out a full table and chairs for our lunches. We never would have expected that! The food was delicious as well. Hamza told us about many types of animals and kept an eye out for ones we never would have seen. Great overall guide and company. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous
It was my first safari experience. We were 4 adults , and booked Luxury Safari for 6 days - 5 nights. The Safari trip went as we expected, the accommodations, the safari and the safari guide, from the moment we arrived in Arusha , until they dropped us off at the airport.
Our Safari guide “Bulldozer” was nice and very knowledgeable about the animals and nature in general. His driving skills were really good and positive mindset. All in all , he made our trip special, he was a friend more than a safari guide.
Big Thanks to you, Bulldozer!!
Regarding the vehicle, I’m not sure if all Safari vehicles have air conditioners, but ours didn’t have one. In addition, we had two vehicles issues but they were solved in a few hours. I trust this is comments on the Safari vehicle, but the “Dancing Simba” need to pay attention to this matter. We were fine with spending a few hours fixing the car , but others would not accept this. I would like t highlight that the vehicle issues are not our Safari guide issue. I claimed this issue to David “ Dancing Simba’ manager” so he apologized to all of us at the end of the Safari and he offered a free ride from Zanzibar airport to our accommodation in Nungwi. He saved us 65$
All in all , the Safari experience was great , and I highly recommend “Dancing Simba”
Once again, thanks a lot to you , David and Bulldozer!!

Very nice!
The communication with the operator went very well. They came to our hotel the night before to provide us with some more information about our hike on Mount Meru.
They went through a list with everything we needed and it seemed we weren't prepared as good as we thought. Maybe a little tip for the operator: sent a list upfront with everything you need for the hike.
It wasn't a problem for them to stop at the rental/supermarket to provide us with some more stuff.
Kadjia (think it's written like this) was a very nice guide and talked us through everything. Once on the mountain he helped us a lot (like carrying my water bottle because according to him, it was too heavy for me). Normally, you're supposed to hike to Saddle hut on day 2, do an acclimatisation to Little Meru, come down and wake up the next day at around 1pm to start the hike to the summit. As it would be raining the day after, they suggested us to do the hike to the summit the same day and watch the sunset, which was good for us as it was sunny. My boyfriend and I were very sick from the acclimatisation so Kadjia carried my backpack for me to the summit. The paths were very rough but they always made sure I could follow and felt safe.
The sunset was beautiful and I was so happy that we still did it the same day!!
The day after, we had to descend and I felt a bit rushed but that was not from dancing simba safaries, but someone from another operator. Our guide always said "pole pole" as I twisted my ankle a couple of times.
Would definitely recommend
