Our guide was incredibly experienced—not only was his driving smooth and safe even on rough terrain, but his deep knowledge of wildlife behavior also allowed us to observe lions, elephants, cheetahs, and many other animals up close. As a solo traveller, I had so many questions about the tour but Mama Anna made me feel safe and assured that I was in good hands - I knew I booked the 2 day safari with the right tour company! Upon arrival at the airport, they were there ready to welcome me with open arms. The warm hospitality with Porcupine Expeditions was impeccable - it felt like I was home! Safari driver was very knowledgeable and was happy to stop by a Maasai village after the safari to do a village tour. After the 2 day safari, Anna also organised a day to visit Materuni waterfalls, coffee tour and Chemka Hot Springs. It was the most magical day! Loved every bit of the itinerary put together by Porcupine Expeditions! Highly recommend! :)

Me and my wife did a safari with Tanzania Porcupine Expeditions and it was amazing! The prices are affordable and they take care of EVERYTHING. 4 Day Serengeti Safari with Porcupine Expeditions
I used Porcupine Expeditions to organise a four day safari in the Serengeti for my parents. It was the first time they had been to Tanzania, let alone Africa. Although they were a little nervous to do a tour on their own instead of with a group like they usually travel, they came back saying it was one of the best trips they'd ever done. From the beginning, Jullie from the team was really helpful and worked with me to tailor an itinerary that included the key spots in the Serengeti and being able to see the Mara river crossing as part of the Great Migration. This one of the main reasons I went with Porcupine Expeditions because most tour companies require you to be on a longer tour to see the river crossing, or are a lot more expensive. When my parents arrived, she took such good care of them and was always available to answer any queries. On the safari itself, the driver/guide was very knowledgeable about the park and the wildlife and they saw so many animals. The accommodation was also fantastic and such a unique experience to be able to stay in glamping-like style tents that offered beautiful views of the animals and were comfortable, clean and safe. Thank you so much to Jullie and the team for going above and beyond for organising such a wonderful trip. What really stood out was the level of care, warmth, communication and organisation throughout, and I could not recommend them enough!

Great experience
Anna and Juliana were excellent hosts. The safari was exactly what we expected, and we saw more animals than anticipated. Our guide, Joseph, provided clear explanations of the Serengeti and Ngororgo. The Tourist Inn hotel has spacious rooms. Anna and Juliana's dedication was outstanding. We had a payment issue, but we were able to pay part of the amount after the safari. A driver was also available to take us to several locations. Porcupine is definitely recommended!
