Excellent Tour operator
Just came back from 11 days (04 to 15 Feb 26) Kenya Safari with Beyond the Plains. What an unforgettable experience. From the initial enquiry till we were dropped off at the airport on return, they provided excellent service, cannot fault anything. Honest, trustworthy, flexible and reliable operator. For enquiries and bookings, Andrew was instrumental in helping with the whole thing and was available almost 24/7. He would try and accommodate all your needs and requests; nothing was too much to ask. Very good accommodation and services. To top it all off we had John as our guide. Safe and sound, John was exceptional, especially on the game drives, where he would get us in the best position to see animals. Would highly recommend Beyond the Plains (and John)

Seamless from start to finish!!!!
Coming from the UK, we had very little knowledge about Kenya before this trip. This is why we decided to use Beyond The Plains to help us plan, book and guide us through our 7 day safari visit. This was a trip of a lifetime for us and so it was really important we could trust the company we were going with. Our dedicated point of contact was extremely responsive and made me feel at complete ease leading up to the start date.
From the first conversation and agenda planning right until the end of the trip, everything with BTP was so easy and seamless and the team ensured that everything was perfect. It was our birthdays during the trip and the team had even let the hotels know, who then planned cakes and little surprises for us - that made it extra special! Our tour guide Moses - wow! He was phenomenal and we had the best week. He was extremely knowledgeable about Kenya and the parks we visited, and always knew where to take us to get the best photos and to see the big 5! He was a great laugh as well as great at making us feel super safe at all times.
Overall this company provided us an experience which exceeded our expectations - we will be back!!!

It was a great experience doing gane safari with Beyond the plains. Everything was smoothly organised. Specially Mr. Roonie the guide was so accommodating that we never feel like we were away from home.

Planning a safari can be so overwhelming because there's SO many variables and you never know what is legit!
I compared many quotes and made many calls before picking 'Beyond the Plains'. With 1 phonecall, I felt and immediate sense of trust!
Sammy was quick to respond, grasped what was important to us very quickly and suggested tweaks that turned out for be BRILLIANT and was very professional and knowledgeable.
ON SAFARI:
When we landed, we were picked and treated very very well from start to finish!!
We chose to fly between all the parks (thanks for the brilliant suggestion Sammy 🤠) - this meant we had a different driver at each park. All our drivers were good - but we do have our favorites!
MONEY:
we felt so comfortable that we chose to pay the whole amount upfront!
It is important to go into the planning with a clear budget to start with. You can then tweak things once you connect with some from the team.

Great Safari - Brilliant Guides
Both our Driver and our guide Lee Roy and Edward were absolutely fantastic. Edward has a huge knowledge of animals and the local environment and answered every question we had. Lee Roy was happy to stop or move on at every request and he can get a vehicle anywhere to get the best view/photographs. They were always happy, polite and affable. It was like being on Safari with friends. If you are booking a Safari with Beyond The Plains, I thoroughly recommend that you ask for these guys to be your guides.

Kenya wedding and safari
So, we attended the wedding of my wife’s former coworker and decided to have a safari while we were there. I did some research and selected Beyond the Plains after numerous emails with Andrew. I can’t tell you how satisfied we were. The whole trip was handled professionally yet still was very personal. Our guide Ian was amazing!! He knew exactly where to go and what to do. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!

Organized and helpful, prompt responses
Beyond the plains safaris organized a fantastic tour for us! Clear information, prompt communication made setup easy. The driver picked us up in Nairobi and was friendly and knowledgeable. We went to 2 parks, lake Nakuru and Masai Mara, both simply amazing. Lodging and food were wonderful and the animals sightings incredible! We saw everything you could imagine, lion families, giraffes, elephants, hyena, water buffalo, hippos. The Land Cruiser was great, you could stand up and look out easily. Altogether an amazing and memorable experience that we’ll treasure!
