Great safari experience from start to finish
The company organised an amazing safari for us. The communication from the beginning was very good, they are very responsive on whatsapp. The whole process went pretty smoothly. Upon arrival we were welcomed and we got help with our bags that we didnt want to take for safari which was great as we could just leave them at their office. Really appreciated that as they also delivered them to our airport hotel before departure. The jeep was very comfortable and clean. Our guide Peter was very nice and accommodating, took great care of us and helped us spot the best wildlife. We saw so many animals on our first day in masai mara. What an experience!
We will surely return to kenya and hope to book our safari with the same company again!

An Unforgettable Week in the Wild
We can't recommend Douglas highly enough! He welcomed us warmly at the airport in Kenya, and from that moment our journey together began. We spent a full week on safari with him, visiting Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and the Maasai Mara, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish.
Douglas is a true expert with outstanding knowledge of the wildlife and the land. He's also an excellent driver, which made every ride smooth, safe, and enjoyable. Thanks to him, we saw an amazing variety of animals, and our safari was thrilling, fun, and unforgettable.

Well Beyond the Plain Kenya/Tanzania Safari
The tour well exceeded our expectations with very professional guiding, trip organization, a good variety of cultural, animal viewing and luxurious accommodations. Our favourite lodging was the glam camping in the Serengeti surrounded by animals. We loved the sunrise balloon ride to see herds of migrating animals over the Masai Mara and we were blown away meeting the bushmen tribes in Tanzania.
We were able to customize our trip and a short plane ride was much appreciated to reduce road travel between the two countries. Our guides were very knowledgeable regarding the wildlife and many times we found ourselves close up with ever unfolding animal scenes and behaviors.
In general our expectations were exceeded by the great service, welcoming faces and flexibilty of all these people.

Professional efficient company with excellent communication and followed through from start to end
From start to finish the process was made so easy with the help of Andrew who was excellent with communications and everything I wanted for the Safari in the flow of it and details he remembered he was always available.
Douglas was our guide. He was superb and made this experience of a lifetime a reality with all the knowledge seeing all the animals, kindness and humour and professionalism.
For the whole trip all the hotels were lovely. The food was absolutely delicious and fresh each day. The staff was very attentive and everything was truly amazing.
I just could not believe that nine days just flew by
It was a most wonderful experience .
I would not hesitate to book with them again and they are lucky to have both Andrew and Douglas on board.

From our very first interaction, Felix our agent was incredibly detailed, thorough, and accommodating despite the numerous changes and customizations I requested during the planning process. Once we got here, everything was completely seamless. Even when we lost our suitcases upon arriving in Nairobi, the team helped us tremendously in getting them back. Amazing!
Beyond the Plains provided the best possible service on our three day visit to the Masai Mara. Our guide, Douglas Issa, was extremely knowledgeable about the landscape, animals (and their behaviour), and the local people (guides, reserve staff, local Masai people, everyone)! The wildlife at the Mara was unbelievable, as expected, but we also enjoyed spending some time visiting a Masai village. Could not recommend them enough. Their office staff (Fridah) was always in touch, making sure everything went according to plan and that we made it home safely. I was happy to support this Kenyan company and with them the best.

Very Efficient Safari
We had a wonderful three-day safari with Beyond the Plains Kenya. Everything was punctual and well organized, and our guide, Douglas, was exceptional. He was an excellent and safe driver, even in Kenya’s chaotic traffic. His extensive knowledge of wildlife and geography made our Masai Mara experience unforgettable. He patiently answered every question, including scientific species names, and helped us capture incredible photos and observations.

We had an amazing safari trip with Ian who was our extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide. We managed to see the big 5 and experienced lots of memorable sightings. Communication with the agency was easy. We stayed at the Governors camp which itself felt like a wildlife park and the staff was fantastic. Thank you for organizing a great trip for us!
