Mafie are very accommodating and helpful on all aspects of your trip!
I did a 6 day Kilimanjaro climb and a 4 day safari with Mafie in March 2026. Everything was well organised including the hotel before and after each event and I always had a driver waiting for me whether it was from the airport or from/to my hotel from safari or Kilimanjaro. My Kilimanjaro guide Oliver, chef and porters were excellent and I couldn’t have asked any more of them they made sure I was comfortable and healthy during the whole trip. My safari guide was also very knowledgeable and I saw all the animals I wanted to see even in low season. Overall my experience with Mafie was 10/10 and I would highly recommend.

A punctual, reliable and overall perfect experience
We had a lovely one day trip to Ngorongoro crater with Mafie Adventures. We got picked up on time and arrived at the safari car who left right away. No waiting time!
Before entering the crater we had a warm breakfast and later a healthy lunch at a picnic site.
I forgot my glasses in the car after a long day and Mafie Adventures sent them to Mwanza within 24 hours. Overall a perfect experience and no complains from us!

Our 3 day safari experience was beyond our expectations. The accommodations were beautiful, meals were great, and our guide was very knowledgeable, patient, and kind. I would absolutely use this company again for future Tanzania travel. Overall, an unforgettable experience that was made extra fun and memorable by the Mafie Adventures team.

Me and my partner did the 5-days Kilimanjaro tour combined with 4-days Safari with Mafie and we had an absolutely fantastic experience in every dimension!
Communication in advance of the trip was great and very responsive. During the Kilimanjaro tour we had amazing guides (Oliver and Richard) who were extremely knowledgeable and caring and made us feel safe from the first second! Our health was checked every evening and we could even change the trip from 6 to 5 days while we were on the road because we felt it’s the better option. You could tell that the team was genuinely focused on providing the best experience possible to us. Also the service at the camps was much better than what we would have expected: the food was super delicious and abundant and we received tea / coffee as much as needed to warm up.
During the Safari we had a fantastic guide (Praygod) who explained wildlife very well to us and made us see incredible wildlife scenes and animals. The accommodations and lodges were super nice and special (eg a lodge in the middle of the Serengeti with elephants next to the room) and the food and service were outstanding!
I would definitely book again with Mafie and would recommend it to everyone!

An Amazing Experience
I booked the 8 day Lemosho Kilimanjaro trip and a 3 day Safari including the Serengeti and Ngorongoro as a solo trip with Mafie Adventures and was not disappointed. Anaeli, the guide I had was knowledgable and friendly, the crew were also very welcoming, and the daily meals were great. We successfully made it to the summit on day 5 and I was even given a couple of rest days at a hotel since I finished the trekk earlier than planned. The safari experience was also good, taking me around Serengeti and Ngorongoro and having the opportunity to see all sorts of wildlife. Meals were very good. Start to finish, from airport transfers, to accommodation before and after the mountain and safari, everything went smoothly and allowed me to have an incredible experience in a country with a lot to offer the adventurous explorer wanting to get away from it all. I did what I wanted to do and managed to do it at a cheaper price than other operators were quoting, I would recommend Mafie Adventures.

Professional services
We booked our 5-day safari adventure with Mafie Adventures few months in advance. We started in Tarangire, then Lake Manyara, 2 days in Serengeti and we ended up in Ngorongoro national park. Since we arrived in Arusha airport until they dropped us off back at the airport we felt treated very respectfully by professionals who know what they do. Our guide, Samwel, made sure we do not miss anything during our adventure and we hit the Big 5 making tons of memories for a life time. We remain with such nice photos than even National Geographic would envy us. Big Thank you! as well to the ladies in the back office who arranged everything so we don’t miss anything. The accomodations during our trip were great, we found a state-of-art vegetable garden at “Heart & Soul” Lodge (close to Manyara Lake) from where they were preparing the meals for their guests. When we will come back, definitely we will call again Mafie Adventures for more fun. Keep doing what you do! We felt fantastic!

Amazing
The tour was great, such an amazing experience. Very well organized, good acommodations; best was the Heart and Soul Lodge near Lake Manyara. The food was very tasty, everyday. The picnic lunch provided was always very complete and tasty as well. Our guide, Samwel, was super knowledgeable, very kind and very well organized. He found all the animals and the best picture spots, he was very well connected with the other guides as well, which helped us find animals easier and faster. Overall, very good experience, super nice and fun guide. Thanks Samwel and Mafie adventures for an incredible safari experience!
Amazing experience!!
We did a 6 day Kilimanjaro trek with Mafie Adventures and it was incredible! Our guides were Oliver and Msafiri and we had 9 porters and 1chef. They really did make it feel like we were part of one big family and they really looked after us during the whole trip. The crew are all so friendly and respectful and will literally do anything to help you!
The food was beyond our expectations and we loved the little touches like a tablecloth and candle!
Summit day was difficult due to the altitude but Oliver and Msafiri encouraged us and motivated us the whole way..and we reached the summit!
We booked via WhatsApp and the communication was great from booking answering any queries we had promptly. Highly recommend Mafie Adventures!
Absolutely overwhelming experience, even better than expected!
My colleague and I did a 11-day trip with Mafie Adventures, first the 7-day Lemosho route to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro, following a 4-day Safari to Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro Crater.
Since the first briefing with Erastus and Michael the evening before the start we felt really pleased with the communication and the preparation for the tour. It was all taken care for, the guides Michael and Msafiri were super proficient and welcoming.
The climb itself was a once in a lifetime experience, the sunrise on top of Mt. Kilimanjaro was really worth the effort. The rest of the team was great as well, the food was absolutely perfect.
The Safari has been an astonishing experience as well, Jeremiah did a great job guiding us through the national parks and the Ngorongoro Crater. In only 4 days we were able to see all of the big five animals and beyond.
Overall it was a 5-star-experience, our wishes were more than fulfilled! We can definitely recommend going on adventures with Mafie!
