Brilliant safari to Zambia
Once again the Luxury Safari company did an excellent job of putting together a mix of safari camps which offered excellent wildlife viewing, great comfort and a wide variety of environments. We asked Rose and her team to suggest somewhere beyond the standard Kenya, Botswana, Tanzania, S Africa camps, and Zambia (which we had not considered before) exceeded expectations. Three camps in very different areas gave us a great range and in each case the private driver/guides were excellent. The star was Puku Ridge - which was well up to the standard we saw in Singita last
All the logistics worked well and we felt entirely confident that any glitches would be solved rapidly if we had to call on the team - though we had no need to do so.
We are already planning our next safari with Rose and her team.

The perfect trip
My husband and I organised our Honeymoon Safari via The Luxury Safari Company and boy were we not disappointed. The experience was truly magical. The company was really responsive in helping us plan the trip taking the time to understand our priorities which was reflected in the final result of the trip. The Lodges were the perfect fit for us, intimate with great food, great service and superb venues. We have lived in Africa many years and know the challenges that can arise travelling around the continent. The trip was so seamlessly organised, any travel related stress was removed and we were able to fully indulge in the experience. 6 magical days in Botswana - perfect advice from Rose as to where to go, and all went to plan.
Booked before Covid, rebooked several times, and eventually we got to visit Botswana 2 years after our original dates. Rose has kept in contact throughout the pandemic, ensuring we eventually got to our chosen destinations.
Having now experienced three lodges, all booked through Rose, I would suggest you share with Rose your expectations, and she will do the rest. Whether you want beautiful landscape, maximum animal viewings, or specific photographic opportunities, together with the style of accommodation you would like to experience.
For us, a once in a lifetime experience, that we now wish to repeat.

Perfectly organized luxury mobile safari in Okavango with the best people
Rose Hipwood did an excellent job organizing a true life experience in Okavango.
We enjoyed the services of James (from Barclay Stenner) who is a most knowledgable and passionnate guide. He made sure, together with his team, that we had an amazing time in the untouched wilderness, far away from any other human beings. 7 days of mobile safari is probably the best way to enjoy the savannah and the wild animals in an adventurous spirit. However, the camp, the food and other services were absolutey luxurious given the remoteness of our location.
The last 2 days in a top end lodge (Zarafa) concluded our wonderful trip with a touch of super-luxury, but still in a very remote place with beautiful nature all around.
All people showed up when they were supposed to and all of them were very good at what they were doing.
I can only recommend the services of Rose.

They managed to put us inside the picture perfect postcard and organized true 'luxury' lodges !
Rose organized a short but excellent trip for us (me and my 17year old son) in Namibia ! She immediately captured what we were looking for (adventure and excitement for the teenager, luxury and impressive nature for mama). We started with a short safari in Etosha. The Fort Onguma was a beautiful Moroccan oasis with the most kind and professional staff on all sides (game drives, chef, waiters, managers etc). After that they flew us to Skeleton Coast where we stayed in The Shipwreck Lodge (beautiful set up) and were entertained every day by the joyful Bonnie. Quad -drives, sundowners but also time off to sip a wine and enjoy. Rose kept the best for last and we ended in Sossusvlei in the exceptional lodge of "And Beyond". seriously a fabulous experience ! (special mention for the chef there ! Brilliant!). Rose was always available, changed everything to please us more and accompanied us from booking till end. Also worth mentionning : we never had to wait for flight connections or pick ups, some one was always there for us. I will definitely travel again with The Luxury safari and if all employees are like Rose, this is a very well organised Travel Company !,

Perfect from start to finish!
We had such a wonderful experience with The Luxury Safari Company. Rose was so helpful in every way. We originally planned to travel in March 2020 and after we were canceled due to Covid restrictions, Rose was right there to work with us on new dates. We had zero fees for rebooking and she was able to get us exactly the same trip- just two years later! The trip was seamless from the pick up in Johannesburg, through customs, and to the driver. Once we got to the driver, he knew us all by name and was knowledgeable about the area. He said he had driven to our lodge at least 500 times. We felt completely safe and comfortable. The Marataba Safari lodge was absolutely magical. The service was amazing and again, when we arrived, they had our names, itinerary, and even knew our food allergies. Rose had sent them everything we needed for a truly once in a lifetime trip. The drive to the second lodge was just as seamless. The luxury safari company really listened to what we wanted out of this trip and it far exceeded our expectations. We would gladly book again with them and will be telling everyone to use them for safari trips. The level of detail in planning was absolutely flawless and if anything went wrong (which it didn’t!) we knew Rose was just a call or email away. Highly, highly recommended!

Knowledgeable and helpful – incredible trip!
We travelled with the Luxury Safari Company to four camps/lodges in Tanzania and had an incredible trip. I really appreciated the team's expertise re accommodation and the knowledge on logistics of travelling between locations. Excellent First African Safari Experience
My wife and I had a sensational time in Tanzania discovering the wildlife and culture.
This was our first safari and we are very much activities oriented, it was also the first time we used a travel agent.
This allowed us to organise a complex trip 3 weeks before departure and have a good level of support while we were in Africa.
