Amazing Safari Experience
Our 10-day private safari in Tanzania with Safari GOATS was truly one of the most memorable trips we have ever taken. We travelled as a couple, with just the two of us and our guide, Ally, throughout the safari, and we could not have been happier with the experience.
The wildlife was extraordinary. We were incredibly lucky to have close sightings of the Big Five, but also to witness a spectacular Mara River crossing and even a cheetah kill — experiences we never expected to see and will certainly never forget. Tanzania itself is breathtaking, and there is something very special about spending so much time immersed in these landscapes and observing the wildlife so closely.
Another major highlight was climbing Ol Doinyo Lengai with a Maasai guide. It was a challenging climb, but an incredibly rewarding one, and reaching the summit of this sacred volcano with its extraordinary views was a very special experience. We were grateful to have the opportunity to do something a little different alongside the more traditional safari itinerary.
We were also consistently impressed by the accommodations Safari GOATS selected for us. The lodges were beautiful, welcoming, and full of character, with lovely settings and excellent food. Coming back to them after long days of game drives or hiking was always a pleasure, and they genuinely felt like part of the experience rather than simply places to sleep.
Most of all, however, we feel incredibly lucky to have had Ally as our guide. He was exceptional. His knowledge of the wildlife, animal behaviour, parks, and landscapes is remarkable, and he seemed to have an instinct for knowing where to go and what might happen next. He was patient, attentive, and always made sure we had the time and the best possible position to enjoy what we were seeing, without ever making us feel rushed.
Beyond being an excellent guide, Ally is warm, thoughtful, professional, and clearly passionate about what he does. Spending 10 days with the same guide is a significant part of a private safari, and we genuinely enjoyed his company throughout the trip. His enthusiasm and dedication added enormously to our experience.
Our experience with Safari GOATS as a company was equally positive. Everything was extremely well organized while still leaving room for the flexibility and spontaneity that make a safari so enjoyable. Edna Mtui was wonderful to communicate with and made coordinating all of the logistics very easy. We were also genuinely impressed by how reasonably priced the trip was given the quality of the guiding, accommodations, and overall experience.
We cannot recommend Safari GOATS highly enough, and we would especially recommend requesting Ally if possible. Tanzania was extraordinary in itself, but the quality of the organization and, above all, the people we travelled with made the experience even more special.

An Incredible Safari — Highly Recommend Safari GOATS
Our 10-day private safari in Tanzania with Safari GOATS was absolutely phenomenal and truly the trip of a lifetime! We were a couple traveling privately, so it was just the two of us with our guide, Ally, for the entire safari. We could not have asked for a better experience.
The wildlife encounters were beyond anything we could have imagined. We had very close sightings of the Big Five, which was already incredible, but we also witnessed a spectacular crossing of the Mara River and, incredibly, a cheetah kill. These were unforgettable moments that we will treasure forever. Tanzania itself is breathtaking, and experiencing its incredible wildlife up close was simply magical.
Another unforgettable highlight was trekking to the summit of Ol Doinyo Lengai with the help of a Maasai guide. The climb was challenging but incredibly rewarding, and reaching the top of this sacred volcano and taking in the extraordinary views was a truly unique experience. Having a Maasai guide accompany us added another special and authentic dimension to the adventure.
The lodges and accommodations throughout the safari were also excellent. We were consistently impressed by the beautiful settings, wonderful ambiance, and incredibly welcoming atmosphere. After long days of game drives and adventure, it was such a pleasure to return to these lovely lodges, relax, and enjoy some excellent food. Each place had its own character and added to the overall experience rather than simply being somewhere to sleep.
But what really made this safari exceptional was Ally. He was absolutely outstanding. His knowledge of the wildlife, animal behavior, parks, and landscape was incredible, and he seemed to have an almost magical ability to find animals and anticipate what was going to happen next. He always positioned us perfectly and was incredibly patient, making sure we had the best possible experience without ever rushing us.
Beyond his expertise, Ally was warm, friendly, professional, and genuinely passionate about what he does. Spending 10 days with him was a pleasure. His dedication made every game drive exciting, and he went above and beyond to make our safari special.
We were also very impressed with Safari GOATS. Everything was well organized and professional, while still allowing the flexibility and spontaneity that makes a safari so exciting. Having a private safari meant we could enjoy everything at our own pace, which was perfect for us.
We cannot recommend Safari GOATS highly enough — and especially Ally. If you are able to request him as your guide, do it! He is truly exceptional and was a huge part of making this an unforgettable experience.

An Unforgettable Safari Experience with SafariGOATS

Most amazing tour!
I could not recommend safari goats enough! They were truly an amazing company to work with! Edna was very responsive and was able to make any alterations to the itinerary that we needed and provided all important information we also needed when traveling to Tanzania.
Once we got there we were blown away at how beautiful all our accommodations were and how organized everything was. The highlight of our trip was our amazing guides Shefe and Daniel. They went above and beyond for us! They were kind, fun, professional and had so much knowledge about the animals. I feel like we won the lottery with them! They were able to answer all our questions and we truly felt like family by the end of our trip! I would travel back to Tanzania just to see them again! Overall I would recommend safari goats to anyone doing a safari. We had an amazing trip from start to finish.

Perfect
Our Honeymoon Safari was fantastic with the Safari Goats team. Right from the prompt communication with Amina from their office to our guide Godson taking us on the beautiful adventure around the Serengeti, ngorogoro crater and Tarangire National park. We absolutely loved the itinerary and the accommodations chosen for us. The little touches for our Honeymoon were so adorable. Most important of all, the wildlife we saw was beyond incredible!

Perfect Safari
We had a great experience with Safari Goats on our recent safari in Tanzania. The company was very communicative and easy to coordinate with throughout the planning process. Our guide was flexible, easygoing, and fun to spend time with, and he was always open to adjusting plans based on what we wanted to see. He really made an effort to prioritize the animals on our list — whether it was giraffes, lions, or other wildlife — and worked with other guides to give us the best chance of spotting them within our limited timeframe. Overall, it was a smooth and enjoyable experience, and we appreciated how responsive and accommodating the team was.
Definitely recommended, especially if this is your first time doing a Safari. They handle everything end to end.

Serengeti with Safari Goats - A Memory of a Lifetime
Wow! Had the most awesome and amazing experience with Safari Goats during my recent visit to Tanzania from USA in January 2026 and doing a safari with Shafi, Eddiy, and the whole team. It was an experience that will stay with me for the rest of my life -- from the minute I landed in the Serengeti National Park, I saw literally tens of thousands of iconic wildlife up-and-close including the magnificent Great Migration of Wildebeast and Zebras and of course, hundreds of lions and hippos, thousands of elephants, and the rare leopards and cheetahs, and so many more beautiful wildlife and the SNP ecosystem and habitats. The luxury tents were a wonderful-surreal experience with hippos, lions, and hyenas all around the camp (Tukaone Serengeti Camps) and my tent; their sounds in the middle of night at first was a bit un-nerving but by the second night was a wonderful orchestra of animals in the wild. Simplu Amazing! Again, Safari Goats are the greatest of all time! Shafi, Eddie good friends now and SG team excellent (Grace, Collin). Can't wait to take the whole family next time with my Safari Goat family. Highly recommend this outstanding, first-rate professionalism, and friendly and knowledgeable Safari company and guides in Tanzania. Asante Sana!

An unforgettable experience
Our experience with Safari Goats Adventure Tanzania was outstanding. The guides were highly professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly, and the kids absolutely loved the way information was presented — fun, engaging, and educational.
