Excellent tour guide and driver, very accommodating and friendly
This was a luxurious experience with a great tour guide. The car was spacious and felt very safe. The tour guides were very accommodating on our journey to the safari and the wine at sunset was a lovely touch. We also saw lots of animals and the guide was great at spotting them and telling us about them.

Excellent 3 days in Mikumi
We had a 3 person Safari from Dar to Mikumi national park for three days. Took the SGR train to Morogoro and stayed 2 nights in Bastian lodge. Totally worth of taking the game drive, since our amazing driver and guide Nazareth made sure that we had the best time. And hey, how ofter you get to see lions mating up and close. Also, you want to have a jeep with roof up, so you can stand and see everything instead of sitting on those open jeeps on other safaris.

Super friendly and highly knowledgeable. Steve can answer all of your questions.
We were able to get so close to the animals as drove off path to get a great view and this was alongside great information provided by the tour guide. Accommodation was lovely! It was very long days however that is what made it better as we didn’t waste anytime so we could see loads.

Exkursion to garden Eden with the expert
It was our second Safari with Steven and we had high expectations. In shorts, our expectations were exceeded. Steven not online knows the various national parks very well, but also amazed us aigain and again with his knowledge of fauna and flora. He has anX-ray eye and sees the wild animals well in advance. We liked the choice of lodges, especially the camplodges. Top value for monnay. Thank you again, Steven.

Best Safari-Tour-Guide ever; many many thanks to Steven
The safari was perfect in every sense; Steven, our guide from Kima Safari, has a keen eye and sees everything, including the leopard and the most diverse and unusual birds. Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti...it couldn't have been more beautiful. We saw the big five, very close, even a rhino family in Ngorongoro; leopard and cheetah in the Serengeti and an incredible number of hippos, buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, lions, elephants, gazelles of all kinds, crocodiles, hyenas, warthogs, giraffes and more. Many thanks for the incredibly beautiful trip and the perfect company. We will come back very soon....

it's the best guide and driver you can imagine!
We made a 10 day safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti.
Many many thanks to Steven for the safe driving and the patience with our questions and comments.. it was a great pleasure to travel with you!
I can recommend it to all people who really want to visit the parks, the landscape and its inhabitants ( people, animals plants... ). We stayed in beautiful lodges with good service and food. Thanks to Steven for taking us with you.

Lots of wildlife in a stunning Landscape (1.5 days of game drive in Mikumi National Park)
My friend and I went to Mikumi National Park with Kima Safaris at the end of March 2025 for a 1.5 days game drive. We got to Morogoro by train; in Morogoro our wonderful guide and driver Nazareth (asante sana again!) picked us up and brought us to our accomodation. We stayed at Camp Bastian for the 2 nights of our stay, which is a beautiful, spacious camp. "Camp" is actually a bit underwhelming because we stayed in a beautiful bungalow with 2 separate bedrooms and a living room. Food (full board) was plenty and delicious, with some Swahili and some European options. We were able to discuss our preferred times for the game drive with Nazareth. Communications prior to our arrival was equally good, my friend and I enjoyed the option a lot to be able to do part of the travels to Mikumi National Park by train. Although end of March is already considered low-season since it is rainy season, we were able to see a lot of wild life: zebras, gnus, elephants, giraffes, even lions, etc., all of them with little ones! Nazareth always had an amazing eye for where to go and see the wild life so that we were lucky enough to see a bigger elephant family and 2 lions from really close, simply breathtaking! The mountainous landscape surrounding the park is stunning as well - my friend already did a few safaris in other countries and she was even surprised by how diverse the landscape is in and around the park. We would always book a safari again with Kima Safaris and in particular with our guide Nazareth!
All the best,
Karin & Rosa
