Excellent Animals Spotting!
Had a pleasure of engaging Leisure Escape Safari services. Esther is prompt in her replies. Despite the multiple enquires, she was able to provide the pros and cons of each changes for me to decide. Furthermore, I believe the charges are fair. Our assigned guide, Jeff, is amazing! He can spot various animals from miles away which enables us to really enjoy the safari. We were lucky to get up close and spot the Big 5 during our trip. He also gives detailed explanation about the each animal's behaviour and we really learnt a lot from him. 5 star trip!

Very well experienced, kind and very knowledgeable
It was a fantastic trip. Ken was a great driver. He went out of his way consistently to make sure we were comfortable and captured some rare moments. He was also punctual which was great 👌🏾
The accomodation was beautiful! We did not expect to be the only guests present but we were and that was a nice surprise. The staff were so lovely and attentive. The view was beautiful. The food was great! Honestly 10/10. I genuinely don’t have anything bad to say.
Our first trip to the Mara was better than I could’ve expected. And most importantly mum had such a great time 😊
We’ve agreed that we need to go back and take the whole clan with us next time.

Excellent organized safari, perfect tour guide
From pickup at Airport Hotel Nairobi till 7 days later dropoff at Aiport Nairobi everything was perfect. Nothing to complain about. Alle 4 lodges were unique from architecture and surroundings, also each national park had it´s own unique flair and fauna. I could not decide which to skip if you want to stay some days shorter. We could see the big five and a lot of other animals, some from just a few meters. Duncan as guide was always polite and helpful. He showed us a lot of wild animals long before we realizes that there are animals, really perfect tour guide. Also the optional booked balloon flight was an amazing experiance. As we had a private safari for just 2 guests, there was plenty of space in the car.
Also the booking process was very simple and perfect support by Esther. She replied to all our questions very fast and perfectly handled all our wishes and requirements.
As a summary, everything was perfect organized and this safari was an unique experience for us. We would definitely book again at Leisure Escape Safaris!!

Very well-organized and wonderful safari
We had a wonderful safari in Kenya. Our guide knew the roads well and drove very safely. He was also very familiar with the national parks and always found good routes to see the animals and get close to them.
The accommodations were nice and comfortable. We would have appreciated receiving a bit more information from the guide during the tour.
Esther, who planned the trip for us, supported us at all times, provided us with lots of helpful information, and organized the trip wonderfully.
We highly recommend this journey — it was an incredible experience, and we’re taking many beautiful memories home with us.

Brilliant communication
We booked a family safari at Amboseli, Tsavo West and Taita Hills. The accommodation at Kibo Safari Camp and Severin Camp was beyond excellent. There was some communication regarding dates and type of accommodation; while booking, all of our changes were accommodated by Leisure Escapes. Our driver Duncan was very attentive and suggested different timings and waited patiently to watch the animals. We managed to see all the Big Five and more. Water and blankets were provided. Throughout the safari. We asked them to pick us up from Nairobi and drop us in Diani, which was a five-hour drive away from the last safari location, which they did with grace. Thank you for a brilliant experience.

Wonderful experience
We had a wonderful experience with Leisure Escapes Safaris. From the very beginning, the planning phase with Esther was smooth and absolutely stress-free. She was extremely friendly, attentive, and made sure that all our wishes were taken into account. Communication was quick and reliable, which gave us a lot of confidence even before the trip started.
The tour itself was beautiful, with well-chosen accommodations that made the journey both comfortable and memorable. Our guide Duncan was outstanding – always polite, considerate, and never intrusive. He had an incredible eye for spotting wildlife and made sure we experienced unforgettable moments in nature.
Overall, everything was perfectly organized, and we would highly recommend Leisure Escapes Safaris without hesitation.

Essy and her team have created a magical trip for my family. Every little detail was taken care of. The communication was excellent from the beginning. Our driver Ken was extremely knowledgeable and we saw everything that we had hoped for and more. Nothing was too much for the team right from pick up at the airport, arranging alternative itinerary and even helping with getting a local SIM card. Essy was there with some lovely gifts for us when we arrived. The safari and the hotel choices were fantastic and I will definitely be recommending leisure escapes to all my friends. Thank you

A truly amazing company that will stay with us forever!
Our safari with Leisure Escapes truly was a memorable trip. From the beginning when my partner and I were getting information, Esther was always there to answer any questions/concerns we had. She also constructed us a very detailed itinerary for our safari so that we knew exactly where we were staying whether it be in lodges or hotels, the areas that we would travel to, what meals/drinks were included, what optional extras we could do such as Masai Village visits, boat trips, and what animals we would come across in the different national parks! She was very thorough from the beginning which made us feel at ease.
Our Safari guide Duncan deserves a massive shoutout too. He has 20+ years of Safari experience under his belt. His professionalism, his patience, his knowledge of the animals and his ability to spot animals from a far distance all deserve mentioning! He was the perfect person for us to experience a safari with, and he never let the long hours driving ever dwindle his spirit, he was always focused on giving us the best experience possible and finding the best spots to see the animals up close. You spend so much time with your guide that you build a bond that is sad to leave when you depart.
As for the animals, we saw everything from Lions, hyenas, giraffes, rhinos, elephants, buffalos, hippos, zebras, warthogs the list is endless. To see them freely in their natural habitat truly was a wonderful experience that i will keep with me for a lifetime. It’s so hard to truly put into words how amazing of an experience a safari truly is.
The accommodations chosen by Esther were always top quality! She really listened to what we wanted and found the best places. Special mention to Nepture Mara in Masai Mara, a luxury lodge with an amazing group of staff there, our own Butler, wonderful room with a massive bathroom and views overlooking a river with many hippos swimming and relaxing. The food there was some of the best I’ve ever experienced.
We cannot thank Esther , Duncan and Leisure Escapes as a whole for providing us such an amazing Safari experience. It was everything we wanted and more and was worth every penny spent. As far as value for money goes, they ticked every box for us. We were even provided with Masai Cloths and personalised water bottles on day 1 as gifts which was a nice touch. When we do return there is only one company we will be going for and that is Leisure Escapes.

Very professional organiser and guide delivering a wonderful experience in Kenia!
We had an amazing Kenia experience with Leisure Escapes! We did the 5 day tour from Nairobi to the Aberdare region, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and loved every second. From the first email to the actual trip, everything went incredibly smoothly and Esther and the team were brilliant throughout. Our guide, Jeff, was amazing - incredibly knowledgable (especially on birds) and just a pleasure to be with for 5 days. Would highly recommend!

Truly a leisure escape! Safari 2025
This was our first safari and it truly exceeded our expectations! We did a private luxury safari and the accommodations provided were absolutely spectacular.
We directly communicated with Esther via emails and she was very prompt and professional. She provided us with a detailed itinerary which highlighted our route, lodges with photos and a daily itinerary so we could clearly see what we would be doing.
Duncan was our tour guide for the week and we really could not fault him, he was absolutely excellent! He has 20+ years of safari experience and you could really tell by the way he got us to the perfect spots at the right times to see the animals! He gave us so much insight not only to the animals but also into Kenya. He managed the bumpy roads really well, felt very safe with him and he was extremely professional and very patient. If we wanted to see a particular animal he was on the hunt for them. His vision and hazard perception is amazing, wish I could see as far as he can! He truly is an asset to the company!
We stayed at the following lodges:
Tulia in Amboseli where we had a beautiful backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro from our room
Sawela lodge in Lake Naivasha where the food variety was incredible and beautiful grounds.
Sara Lion hill game lodge at Lake Nakuru which is inside the national park so you get to see all the animals whilst driving.
Neptune at Masai Mara which was my absolute favourite! They provided us a personal chef, a butler who brought us a hot drink in the morning to wake us up and also the room and lodge had a hippos in your eyeline, it was truly an incredible experience. You can see bush babies here at the lodge also and a beautiful sunrise to wake up to! Our butler Moses was incredible, he gave us hot water bottles before bed and blankets to keep us warm through the night.
All the lodges we stayed at provided outstanding food and clean amenities. The staff were very helpful and everyone made sure our stay met our needs.
We also did the additional activities of the Masai Mara village visit where we were welcomed by the chiefs son and shown cultural dances and given an insight to their daily lives. We also did the hippo boat safari at Lake Navaisha where we got close up to the hippos and saw some beautiful birds. We also did a walking safari there which truly was an experience!
Also our jeep was very safe and secure which I think is really important considering you are amongst wild animals! But it provided us with excellent views and we weren’t restricted.
I honestly would thoroughly recommend Leisure escapes, it really was worth every penny! Only wish we booked longer!
