Fantastic!
We climbed Uhuru Peak with two friends, choosing Kisambi Tours for our trek.
Our guide Eli and assistant guide Gilbert were fantastic: from checking our equipment, to keeping a steady and appropriate pace throughout the climb, to organizing acclimatization and rest, and giving us excellent advice on what to wear, so that we were never too hot or too cold.
But it was so much more than that. They taught us about the local flora, shared part of their culture with us, and laughed and joked with us along the way, making the whole trek even more special.
For us, the experience was not just about reaching the summit, but about the journey that took us there. And with Eli, Gilbert and the whole team of porters, all of this was possible.
