Classic Explorers understands the Kenya market and all its available options!
5/5

The drivers were on time and the safari car was in excellent condition. I was specifically surprised and excited when we received branded swag packs... safari hats, bags and make up bags. The journey was excellent and all bookings were exactly what we expected and more. Agnes in particular is very kind, attentive and knowledgeable. I'll engage them for all my future trips.

Great Safari experience thanks to great Tour operator!
5/5

I recently spent 9 great days in Kenya with my wife and 2 children. Our trip was tailor-made. We suggested what we would like to see and what kind of vacation we wish, and Classic Explorers (run by Benson and Agnes) made our wishes come true. Since our arrival to Nairobi airport, everything went well, and we experienced Kenyan hospitality and friendliness throughout the whole trip. We visited Elephant and Giraffe Center in Nairobi, had a great dinner in the city, an unforgettable safari in Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru, and than 3 relaxing days in Diani Beach. During the Safari days we had excellent friendly drivers, full of knowledge and eager to show everything there is to see in the Parks. We managed to see the Great Five thanks to them! The hotels (Sofa Lodges) suggested by Classic were within our moderate budget but the service provided was everything but moderate (spacious rooms, friendly staff, delicious European-style food loved by my children etc.). Summa summarum, if you want a great vacation, go with Classic Explorers!

An unforgettable experience
5/5

Well… it is hard to start with these kind of longer reviews because you don’t know where to start! But the obvious would be the beginning, so let’s start. Upon arrival to Kenya we did not know what to expect, I mean it is not your classic vacation to Italy or Spain, it is really a venture into the unknown, no matter how many books, reviews or blogs you read, I don’t think you will truly be ready for the adventure that awaits you. We were very excited and very eager to get to Kenya, and once we finally did it felt surreal. Just the feeling of getting out of the plane and on to African soil is a feeling that is very hard to describe. You’re filled with joy, excitement and just a bit of healthy anxiety. Once we collected our luggage we were greeted by our host, Benson. And just by first impression you can tell you are dealing with a very happy and friendly man, who perfectly reflects the warm hospitality of the Kenyan people. We did land at 2 in the morning so we were ready to get to bed and start exploring as soon as we were well rested. The next day we went exploring in and around Nairobi and it was really wonderful. The staff at the hotel was very polite and helpful as were the drivers, who are like a walking encyclopedia of not only Kenya but also Africa as a whole. It was a really pleasant experience. From the elephant orphanage, to the giraffe center and also just seeing the Kenyan way of life and daily routine was fascinating. And even though you can spend days just in and around Nairobi we needed to get ready for the real adventure which was the safari. The day after, we were up early in the morning to meet our drivers for the safari, Daniel and James. And even a week after the whole trip is finished I cannot tell you who the better guide was because they were both brilliant in their own way. We ventured first into the wilderness of the Masai Mara National reserve, which was about a 6 hour drive from Nairobi. At about half way to the reserve, you go on to a dirt road, which at first is very crazy and you might get a bit sick, but the next day you feel like you have been on dirt roads your whole life! We settled into our second hotel which was also lovely, and the staff equally friendly and helpful. The next 2 days were spent exploring the wildlife of the Masai Mara National reserve. We were up with the sun and were going back with the sunset. The safari experience was quite frankly, at least in my personal opinion, one of the best moments of my life. Just being in the wild, surrounded by wildebeests, buffalos, giraffes, lions, cheetahs… you name it, it is probably somewhere in the reserve, really a one of a kind experience that is hard to compare to anything. We spent one day with Daniel and one day with James, and both days were fantastic. Daniel and James are so knowledgeable not only about their surroundings and animals, but life in Africa in general, and provided so many fascinating facts and knowledge that I will be telling to everyone I know! And for that, me and my family are really grateful to them. After the Masai Mara reserve we went on a 3 hour drive to Lake Nakuru national park, which was also breathtaking. It contains all the animals as those the Masai Mara reserve, I think minus the elephants, but there are flamingos to make up for that. And after our safari at Lake Nakuru we went back to Nairobi airport and departed to Diani beach where we spent the rest of our vacation. To anyone on the fence about traveling to Kenya, and having doubts, please erase them and go on an adventure of a lifetime. Classic Explorers provided me and my family the best and most unforgettable trip of our lives. From the warm hospitality of Benson, the knowledge and information of Daniel and James, and also the great communication with Agnes, with whom we have been in touch all the time before arrival, and who was so so helpful in the planning of our trip, from the health pro-cautions, the visas, infomation… we are forever indebted, and all are welcome to visit us in Croatia tomorrow! The prices were fair, nothing unexpected, both in restaurants and local shops. At no point did we feel threatened or in danger and were able to relax fully. The food was delicious in both the hotel and restaurants we visited. We did exchange all our euros at the Nairobi airport, and you will also get the best rates there for any currency. Once again, to the whole Classic Explorers team, thank you thank you thank you!!! We can not recommend the organization enough to anyone who might be organizing a trip to Kenya. 11/10
