Professionals and kindness
Our experience was wonderful. The tour was very well prepared and the attention and information were good. Cibril and Mildred worked very much and had patience to prepare an amazing tour to our family. Thank you. Our guide, Lawrence, is a wonderful guide and person. He has done that our stay during the tour was comfortable and his knowledge and explanations about the animals were extraordinary and very imteresting. But the most important thing is that Lawrence is very friendly and very professional. Thank you so much Lawrence. We won't forget our stay in Kenya, we had a great time!

Best experience
Lawrence is the best safari guide ever. He is devoted to make his guests have the best experience and make them happy. He has the desire to make every safari better than the last one (he got it). Funny, well-knowledged, kind, adorable and a lovely person. He made me feel confortable with him around.
His love for animals, environment and his culture has no limits (as his knowledge).
Definetly no animal can escape his binocular eyesight (he sees everything!!).
I was so blessed to have him, not just as the tour guide, also as a friend. 10/10 Thank you!

Perfect service and safari 👌🏼
When I started planning my first safari, I was overwhelmed with the options. I ended up checking gemfinders amongst others and they immediately stood out: very quick responders, very thoughtful and helpful. I had so many questions, needed a lot of advice in planning a proper safari adapted to my preferences and Mildred dealt with everything with a lot of patience, kindness and great advice.
We ended up creating a personalised plan and when the date approached they contacted me several times to remind me of the dates, the things I had to bring, time and place of meet up, etc. This, amongst the quick responses I always got, made me realise how reliable the company was.
The funny part is that the safari was WAY better than expected! The guide, Lawrence, was simply AMAZING. I am a big animal lover and read a lot about animals so had a lot of questions and needed a lot of information: he answered everything and knew a lot about each animal. He was very friendly and extremely punctual and reliable. He is a great driver too. He was making sure to adapt to our needs and provide the great safari we did. Honestly, it was perfect.
Also, the accommodation combined cultural experiences with resorts and amazing views.
I will recommend Lawrence and Gemfinders to anyone who wants to do a safari here. I am very pleased, lucky and how Lawrence says: blessed. We saw the big 5, the 9 strong, the 5 ugly ones and way more animals than I had imagined. Simply incredible. Lawrence promised the best safari and it was. THANK YOU FOR MAKING IT POSSIBLE.

Informative
We had a great day with planned excursions of Nairobi NP, Elephant sanctuary and Giraffe Centre. Our tour guide was prompt, friendly, informative and constantly checked in that we were ok. He got us to see wildlife in a great way in the NP.

A perfect safari experience
My husband and I are on our honeymoon, and having never been to Kenya before, we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful safari experience.
We saw so many beautiful animals and had such an incredible time, but what really made the experience special was our guide, Ernest. He was absolutely brilliant — gentle, kind, incredibly knowledgeable and so respectful towards the animals and their environment. He explained so much to us throughout the safari and was always happy to answer our questions.

Expert guides with fantastic safari routes
We booked a private 5 day safari with Gem Ginders. From start to finish the gem finders team and our excellent guide Ernest have gone above and beyond to give us a memorable Safari.
The organisation of the tour and all the details were documented clearly and we were given lots of options before completing our booking.
From the first morning of collection, through to every park we visited and hotel we stayed at, our Guide Ernest has been super helpful! Very knowledgeable of all the animals and parks and structured our days well, whilst also helping us with stops and shoots that we needed along the way.
We would 100% Gem Finders as a tour operator.

Exceptional Experience!
My friend and I recently returned from an unforgettable safari in Kenya, covering Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha & Crescent Island, and Amboseli National Park, and we cannot recommend Gemfinders enough. From start to finish, the entire trip was flawlessly executed with zero issues and packed with incredible, happy memories.
Right from the pickup to the quality of the safari vehicle, the hand-picked hotels, the seamless service, and clear communication every step of the way, every single detail exceeded our expectations.
A massive shout-out to Tracy, who handled all our pre-trip planning and communication. She was the absolute anchor of our tour, answering all our questions and crafting a dream itinerary that flowed effortlessly.
Special recognition goes to our amazing driver and tour guide, Issac. He was simply amazing, incredibly helpful, deeply knowledgeable about the wildlife and landscapes, and always accommodating. Issac constantly went above and beyond to ensure we had the best possible wildlife sightings and a truly fabulous experience.

Great company to work with for our 5 day safari
We booked a 5-day private tour with Gemfinders Tours and Travel for myself and my 9-year-old daughter, and it truly was the trip of a lifetime! Mildred in the office was absolutely great to work with and incredibly responsive with all communications from start to finish. Traveling alone as a woman with my young daughter, I felt completely safe the entire time.
Our accommodations were budget/mid-range, but they exceeded my expectations by far. As a vegetarian, I was also impressed by how every place catered to my diet with genuinely excellent food. We saw it all—elephants, giraffes, and so many lions up close!
We splurged on the hot air balloon ride, and while expensive, it was the absolute highlight of the trip and worth every single penny. We were originally scheduled for 6 days, but losing the final day's game drive worked out fine as we were quite "safaried out" by then. One helpful tip for future travelers: bring plenty of local currency for tips at hotels and boat rides, as I had to make extra stops to get cash.
Overall, I would definitely recommend the trip and would work with Gemfinders again!

Extremely professional, easy to communicate with and reliable
Our safari with Gemfinders was amazing! From start to finish they were very easy to communicate with. Over WhatsApp and email they were very attentive to any requests, providing a lot of options and catering to all of our needs anytime we mentioned specific requirements such as hotels, activities and food. Once the booking was made, we didn’t have to worry about anything. Everything was seamlessly organised. Once we were picked up on day one by our driver Samson we had nothing to worry about. One negative was the seatbelts weren’t in great shape. Once that was communicated to Gemfinders they were extremely quick to rectify that and service the belts by the next morning. Given we spent so much time in the car (more than half the safari was spent in the car, travelling) it didn’t feel like that at all as we were very comfortable. Every single day was planned so throughly and we were told at the start and end of each day the plan. We managed to see the big 5 and every day was so magical. Value for money was great, I reached out to many providers and I found them to be well priced compared to others. The tour was well organised and so much fun. Would definitely go with Gemfinders again on a safari.
