A reliable and well-organized tour operator that delivers seamless experiences
I can’t recommend Vanessa from Gemfinders highly enough! From start to finish, everything was handled professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. Vanessa took the time to understand exactly what we wanted and created an itinerary that exceeded our expectations.
Communication was clear and prompt, and I felt completely supported before and during my trip. Every recommendation—from accommodations to activities—was spot on, making the whole experience stress-free and enjoyable.
Our tour guide Sammy, it was like having David Attenborough providing the absolutely exceptional guided tour and made the entire experience unforgettable. From the very beginning, they were warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable about the destination’s history, culture, and hidden gems. Every explanation was clear and engaging, and Sammy was always happy to answer questions with enthusiasm and insight.
What truly set them apart was Sammy’s ability to personalize the tour—adjusting the pace to suit the group, sharing fascinating local stories, and offering excellent recommendations. Sammy’s passion for the area was contagious and made us appreciate the destination even more.
Thanks to Sammy’s excellent organization, friendly attitude, and attention to detail, the safari tour ran smoothly and was both informative and fun. I would highly recommend this guide to anyone looking for an authentic, enjoyable, and well-curated travel experience. A true professional!

The tour operators were the absolute best!!
From the planning stages to the trip, everything was just spot on. Tracy, who helped me with planning was always available to answer any and all question. I planned a trip of 18 people and as you can imagine, how many changes can come up with dealing with that high number of people. Tracy was always on point every single step. The 3 tour operators were amazing as well. Got there on time, and were very accommodating to our requests.

Great
We had a fantastic safari experience in Amboseli, thanks to our amazing driver, Lawrence (Kenya Guid).
He drove safely and professionally from start to finish, and communication with him was easy and smooth. Lawrence is extremely kind, highly knowledgeable about the area and wildlife, and truly knows how to find the animals we were always the first to spot them, with other vehicles following our lead.
Highly recommended!

Amazing Family Safari with Gemfinders Tours and Travel
We had a fantastic tailor-made safari experience with Gemfinders Tours and Travel and couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out.
We are a family of four with two children, and the trip was perfectly planned for us. Our journey started in Nairobi, continued through Amboseli and Tsavo National Parks (with two nights in the parks), and ended at the beautiful Diani Beach. The mix of adventure and relaxation was spot on.
The wildlife sightings were incredible. Thanks to our amazing guides, we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, and so many other animals — basically all the Lion King characters, which was a huge highlight for our kids.
A big thank you to our guides Lowrance and Eric. They were professional, friendly, and great with children. Their knowledge of the parks and ability to spot animals made every game drive exciting and memorable.
Everything was well organized — comfortable vehicles, smooth transfers, and carefully chosen accommodations. What we appreciated most was the personal approach. This was not a standard tour, but a flexible, thoughtfully designed trip that truly felt made just for us.
Finishing the safari at Diani Beach was the perfect way to relax after the adventure.
We highly recommend Gemfinders Tours and Travel to anyone looking for a reliable company and a customized safari experience, especially families. We came back with amazing memories and would gladly travel with them again!

Wonderful company, easy communication, everything as promised. William is a wonderful guice and driver and made our trip so smooth and great! Explained everything, made sure we saw all the animals up close, was very knowledgeable about the animals and anture and very patient with our two small children. Thak you for a wonderful trip!!!

Unforgettable experience
My two day safari in Amboseli turned out perfectly. Not only my guide Lawrence got me in time to the best spots to take pictures of mt Kilimanjaro, but also we've encountered many animals and beautiful sights. I recommend both this safari and the guide!

Amazing experience
Our guide - Lawrence was incredible in finding animals, very kind and helpful.
Whole experience was just great. We've seen almost everything there was to see.
Masai Mara and Nakuru were the best from the whole tour and totally worth long ride.
Only thing to remember is that if you pay by cash, some older usd bills are not accepted in Kenya

Experience of a lifetime
We had a great experience on this 5 day safari. Lawrence took us around and show us the Big Five Games, which is something I will remember forever. Highly recommended tour if you ask me.

Highly recommend - a great safari experiance
If you're looking for a private safari, mid budget, for two people I would highly recommend Gemfinders Tours and Travel. Our game guide and driver Lawrence was excellent. He knew exactly where to drive to find all the animals. We managed to really explore all the national parks we visited - Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Amboseli. I really appreciated that our driver Lawrence was not so much "in your face" - attentive but not overbearing.
We stayed in three places:
Flair Camp Experiences - a basic camp, the tent was very clean, beds comfortable, tasty food with a lot of variety, some trouble with hot water, so have some wet wipes with you, wifi in the common area;
Buraha Zenoni Hotel & Resort - a western style hotel, with pool and wifi in the rooms;
Little Amanya Camp - again a basic camp with amazing views of Mount Kilimanjaro, clean tent with comfy beds and a sofa, the bathroom is open roof, so you can shower under the stars, the food is basic but tasty, wi-fi in a common area, but it reached our tent.
All in all, the safari and accommodation was great.
Two issues - first with the Masai village. I had a feeling it would be uncomfortable and we would be pressured into buying things and unfortunately it was exactly that. So if you don't want to be guilt tripped into buying some arts and crafts, then perhaps skip the village altogether. Second thing, the places that our driver recommended for souvenirs were seriously overpriced. One thing I bought, after haggling, was half the price at the airport shop, which is usually the most expensive. So that shows you how overpriced those shops along the way are. So wait to get to Nairobi, many things are cheaper there, even at the airport.

Patient, friendly, organised, effective
Highly recommended! Lawrence was a thoughtful, friendly, and patient guide, taking note of my interests and going out of his way to meet my needs. I got to see everything I was hoping for - with enough time at each stop and while learning plenty along the way.
Tracy, who arranged the trip, was extremely helpful and responsive, too. The whole process was seamless, conducted over WhatsApp for maximum efficiency.
