Kind friendly and knowledgeable
My three-day gorilla experience with Antique Safari was incredible. Geofrey was knowledgeable and friendly, and the reliable car made navigating Bwindi Forest exceptional. The local guides were well-informed, and interacting with the local community added a meaningful touch to the adventure.

Almost perfect custom trip in 4 countries
I took a solo 22-day trip with Geoffrey in December 2025 to Rwanda, Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania. I was a bit afraid in the beginning to book with them because it is a small company; however, almost everything went perfectly from the booking process to the trip itself. I wanted a custom trip focusing on animals, hiking, and waterfalls, and I got exactly that! All costs were covered, as advertised, no hidden surprises anywhere, Geofrey even accommodated some last-minute changes to cater for my food issues. The itinerary went exactly as planned as well, except for unplannable things like bad weather or a flat tyre due to the crappy roads.
Most days are busy (except travel days), the local guides are great, and places like Bwindi, Rwenzori Mountains and Maasai Mara were way beyond my expectations! I was lucky to see the Big 5, tons of chimps and gorillas and discover excellent hiking, mostly in Uganda, where I definitely want to go back eventually. (Suggestion: spend 2 nights in Bwindi, 1 for gorillas and the other for trekking, it is worth it :) Also, due to his local knowledge, you can go to places that are otherwise not recommended or considered "safe". Just trust the local knowledge,
Most accommodations were excellent; two did not work out great this time, even though they were from reputable brands.
The only reason I did not give this trip 5 stars was the food. I am dairy and egg-intolerant, and getting food that I can eat was a hassle most of the time at most accommodations. If you have food allergies, I highly recommend going above mid-range (I did mid-range) or getting the right kind of food will be a constant problem.
I also highly recommend eating street food. I only had problems with food twice at accommodations due to them not catering properly for my intolerances; I never had that problem on the street, and usually, the food was of better quality than in some of the accommodations. (Especially Nyama Choma in Kenya)
Overall, I highly recommend travelling with Geofrey, but be mindful of your food requirements and choose the trip accordingly.
