Accommodations issues, saved only by a great driver
If you book with Peak Season Africa Safaris, do not trust their "free upgrades"—it is likely a trick to cut costs and downgrade your stay. Check all their recommendations on booking and google.
Steven will be replying fast and confident but it's all a selling pitch.
We booked for 9 days, 11k USD safari, around 6months in advance. Right after sending prepayment, we were told our desired lodge was unavailable and were offered "upgrades at no extra cost". We were explicitly promised Deluxe Rooms at Mara Sweet Acacia in writing. Instead, we were dumped into their absolute worst, filthy tents (1-2 star quality at best). Only after aggressive escalation were we moved to mediocre cottages—still nowhere near the Deluxe standard we paid for and agreed on.
Mara Sweet Acacia is a total 3-star tourist trap falling apart at the seams: broken kettles, showerheads barely working at 30% pressure, towels on dusty shelves and overall walls looking like from third world.
Emayian had nice food, style and service, but the wind noise in the tents made sleep impossible. Only Kibo Camp in Amboseli delivered what was expected.
The Bright Spot: Patrick
The driver, Patrick, was knowledgeable, skilled, and worked hard to give us a great game-viewing experience. He deserves all the praise, but he cannot fix a dishonest agency approach.
Summary
The agency sold us high-end promises and pocketed the difference by booking inferior sweet accacia lodge while advertising it as 5* upgrade.

We had a wonderful experience with Peak Season Africa Safari (Mr. Peetah & Kevin).
We had great experience in major National parks in Kenya during our maiden trip covering Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Reliable, trustworthy, amazing, fun experience and tour
Our experience with Safari Bookings was absolutely incredible from start to finish! From the moment we arrived in Kenya, we felt so well taken care of. The hotels selected for us were wonderful, comfortable, and made the entire trip even more enjoyable.
A special shoutout to our amazing driver, Tom, who truly went above and beyond. He was knowledgeable, patient, and always happy to help with anything we needed. Thanks to him, we had such an unforgettable time exploring the Masai Mara and spotting an incredible amount of wildlife. We were lucky enough to see the Big Five, the “Ugly Five,” hippos, and so much more!
Stephen was also fantastic with communication throughout the planning process. Everything was handled smoothly, and the team was so friendly and accommodating that we even ended up making TikToks together!
Overall, this was a 10/10 experience, and I wouldn’t hesitate to engage Safari Bookings again for future adventures. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a memorable and well-organised safari experience in Kenya! 🦁🐘

Efficient , Persistent and Accomodating
We have been talking with Stephen from Peak Season since Dec 2025 and since then while we were looking at quotes and packages from other operator, we found that Stephen was very persistent and efficient in communicating. And on top of that he was very accomodating to our request and questions. Which was why we end up booking with them. Tom was our guide throughout the week and we love having him around. He is very attentive, he makes sure everyone is having a good time, are comfortable and he has a deep knowledge about the animals and area. We have no regret choosing them! We are going to miss Masai Mara deeply

Come to see the Big Five, left as the Big Six!
From start to finish, Peak Season Africa Safaris made our safari experience absolutely unforgettable.
Stephen was incredibly helpful, professional and responsive throughout the trip planning.
And then there was Tom, what a legend! Funny, incredibly insightful, accomodating and ridiculously sharp-eyed. Somehow, Tom could spot wildlife before the rest of us had even realised there was something to look for! Thanks to his knowledge, patience and determination, we managed to see the Big Five, the Ugly Five, cheetahs and variety of wildlifes, pretty much ticking off the safari bingo card! Every game drive seemed to bring another surprise.
A huge thank you once again to Stephen and Tom for making this trip so personal and special.

Well organised safari with a brilliant guide
We booked an 8 day private safari in a minivan for 2 through peak season Africa safaris. Stephen was very helpful when planning our trip, and provided different options for the vehicle and accomodation, as well as flexibility to adjust our itinerary.
The accomodation selection was great, with nice spacious rooms and good food available at each place. The hotels where also all well located close to the park gates so we could start our game drives early to maximise our time.
Our guide Felix was also amazing. Very friendly and helpful, and consistently got us into good viewing positions at some of the busier spots on the have drives. In particular, a large herd of elephants in Amboseli and then cheetahs in the Masai Mara.
The van itself was comfortable for the two of us, and we had no issues getting around the trails in the parks.

Luxury tour around Kenya
We had the most amazing safari and honestly couldn’t recommend the experience enough. It really did feel like a once-in-a-lifetime trip and we loved every minute of it.
Stephen, who organised our trip and was our main contact during the booking process, was brilliant from the start — really responsive, answered all of our (many!) questions and was happy to adapt the itinerary for us. We really wanted to visit The Ark in Aberdare and he was able to work this into our trip. We’d compared the cost of the package with booking the hotels and everything ourselves and felt it was really good value too.
All of the hotels were absolutely stunning and really close to the parks, so it felt like we got to soak up every minute of being on safari. Sleeping in luxury safari tents with wildlife close by, eating dinner overlooking the bush and having a sundowner in the Maasai Mara were such special experiences and exactly what we’d hoped for from the trip.
We’re both vegan and had been slightly worried about food before we went, but we really didn’t need to be! We ate incredibly well throughout the whole safari and every hotel catered for us. Songe, our driver-guide for the safari, was also great at making sure our dietary requirements were communicated everywhere we stayed.
Songe was absolutely fantastic. We felt really safe with him, he knew so much about the parks and animals and was always really clear about what we were doing and the plans for each day. From the beginning he told us to just ask whenever we wanted to stop for a photo or had a question, and we never once felt rushed. He genuinely seemed to care about us having the best possible experience and went out of his way to make sure we got as much as possible from every game drive.
We had a brief issue with the car on one of the days, but it was dealt with so well that it barely affected us. Another driver from the company took us with their group so we didn’t miss out on any of the game drive, and Songe picked us back up an hour or two later once everything was sorted.
The whole trip was just incredible — the wildlife, the places we stayed, the food, the scenery and all the little experiences along the way. Having everything organised for us meant we could completely switch off and just enjoy being there. We came away feeling like we’d really made the most of every single day and had the safari experience we’d dreamed of. An unforgettable trip!
