Poorly organized and not transparent
Do NOT book with them. They do not use their own safari car for group safari but instead throw you in a car with tourists who booked with other safari companies and whose itineraries they have no control over or knowledge of. There was a lot of confusion, delay and waste of time just waiting because everyone stays at a different place and has different specific itineraries, plus the local guide is not directly affiliated with the company so communication was indirect. We almost missed our entrance to Maasai Mara the first day and missed our day at Lake Nakuru. On top of that, they put 8 people in our car which was very uncomfortable for an 8 hour ride on bumpy roads.

As clearly communicated prior to booking, the group joining safari is a shared experience designed to keep costs lower by combining travelers from various nationalities. This may result in longer pick-up times, limited flexibility in the itinerary, and coordination challenges, as the group follows a set route and schedule with pre-arranged accommodations.
Each vehicle accommodates 7–8 travelers, and game drives operate on a fixed group itinerary, which was shared with you in advance. While we understand this format may not suit all travelers, it is a standard practice in group safaris to ensure logistical efficiency.

Totally worth it. An amazing experience.
Our guide Nick is such a gun. I told him I really want to see leopard and cheetah, he patiently drove pass each trees and check surroundings to look for them!
He has really good driving skills and he is very knowledgeable.

Flexible, responsive and reliable
We had a good experience with Jorado Safari during our week-long safari which Jorado fully customised for us based on our schedule and preferences. Our excellent driver and guide Samuel was kind, helpful and attentive to our demands. Communications with the agency were mostly done through a third-party consultant, which complicated the planning and discussion at times, but this improved when the agency got in touch directly. Otherwise, everything was done in order to offer us a very qualitative experience. Thank you Jorado!

This safari was perfectly organized, and we can’t recommend it enough.
The 7-day Exceptional Bush Safari with Jorado Safaris was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Raggen customized the itinerary to suit our interests, and John’s expertise made the safari truly memorable. We explored Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli, encountering diverse wildlife, from giraffes and rhinos to playful baboons. The lodges were beautifully situated and provided all the comforts we could ask for. The highlight was watching a spectacular sunrise over the savanna while enjoying our morning coffee. This safari was perfectly organized, and we can’t recommend it enough.
