An experience to absolutely forget!
BAD EXPERIENCE!
We organized with this tour operator in December through word of mouth. We were supposed to do 4 days of safari, with a stop at Ngongoro crater and Serengeti. Unfortunately my wife was very ill and we had to interrupt the second day. Upon our return to Italy we contacted our contact to receive a refund, considering that we did not use all the services and that part of the costs incurred, such as entrance fees to the parks, were not used, and are reusable. We discovered how difficult it is to obtain this, and we do not understand why. The jeep that we had booked for 4 days was only used for 2, and we moved from Arusha to a village near Ngongoro and the crater, and then returned to Arusha, doing very little road. This money was not refunded to us! After two weeks of insistence and ordeal we received a partial refund of these expenses, which were partly refunded to our contact who proceeded to send us the money. This behavior is certainly reprehensible, not very transparent and incorrect, for this reason I absolutely do not feel like recommending the tour operator in question and I recommend reviewing the company policies, in favor of correctness and the principles of good faith, which were brutally trampled on towards us. We paid a lot of money to do practically a day and a half of safari!!!

Our day at Mikumi National Park was exhilarating. Zumba, our expert driver, and Sylvia, our observant guide, made it seamless and memorable. Sylvia’s sharp eyes led us to a rare leopard in a tree.
Lunch by a watering hole was a highlight, with wildlife approaching as we dined. We learned fascinating insights about animal behavior and interactions during the eight-hour journey.
Back at Camp Bastion, we were welcomed with a delicious dinner and a charming chalet. Josephat, the founder of Upcountry, and Mollie, our dedicated agent, provided exceptional care before, during, and after the safari.

Very kind and accommodating
This was a wonderful experience! We were well taken care of and the company even accommodated for my Nana in her 70s. She had a great time! And we got to see all our favorite animals in Mikumi ! I definitely recommend Upcountry Adventure if you are considering doing Safari in Tanzania!

We were well informed on what to expect and were well taken care of!
We were hesitant on going to Serengeti because we didn’t know what to expect and pricing. But Upcountry Adventure made sure to communicate well and once we arrived there was zero worries. They picked us up from the airport and took care of every detail after. We stayed in Ndutu, Serengeti and Ngorongoro! We did a hot air balloon safari and the Camp we stayed at (Signature Luxury Tented Camps) made us a cake and celebrated us for staying 3 nights! Highly recommend to stay there ! All in all, Upcountry Adventure gave our family unforgettable memories that we never thought were possible!

Excellent care given to my wife and myself on a fantastic trip!
From the moment we were picked up at the airport to our departure a week later we were exceptionally cared for. The accommodations were wonderful and our driver Lawerence bent over backwards to make sure we had a pleasurable time. We felt safe with his driving and he was skilled at finding elusive animals. We saw all of the big 5 (multiple times over) as well as the ugly 5. This was a trip of a lifetime and I’m so glad we used Up Country Adventures! I’d recommend them to anyone looking for an incredible African safari.

Very accomodating and honest
Upcountry Adventure made sure we had a great experience, we did the hot air balloon and saw the Big Five. They made sure to keep my sister and I informed of everything we needed and our itinerary for each day. The guide knew English and we learned so much about the animals, terrain and Tanzanian culture. The price was excellent compared to operators. Definitely suggest using them if you are wanting to see Serengeti, Ngorongoro or any other National Park in Tanzania!

Excellent help, I was nervous because I am elderly and didn’t know what to expect.
From the moment I arrived I was well taken care of and felt comfortable and safe. The company director greeting us and helped us get settled in. The whole team was very personable. It was a wonderful experience and I would do it again before I get even older.

He was a lot of fun, knowledgeable and took made us feel extremely comfortable.
We were picked up when we arrived at the bus terminal, and took care of all our needs. They came on time to pick us up and we were able to remain all day until nightfall. They took their time and explained in detail about all the animals. A wonderful lunch was provided and even some wine.
The accommodations were comfortable, clean, and the food was delicious. I even went a second time with another visitor because I had such a great time.
