Fantastic experience - would absolutely recommend
We (3 of us) booked on a group tour departing Nairobi for 5 nights and we had the most incredible time with Papa John as our driver. He was informative from start to end, joined in on our chats and also gave us a lot of information about Kenyan culture too. He made such a great effort to make sure we always had the best view of all of the animals, and we saw the most incredible sights. The big 5 were all ticked off, along with so much more wildlife. A huge thankyou to Papa John for pointing out so many things we wouldn’t have spotted , and for being kind and funny along the way. We’d 100% recommended this safari and Papa John, and are so grateful for an unforgettable experience. 5*, thankyou

Amazing
The tour was absolutely incredible, especially because of our guide, Salomon. He really knew the right places to go so we could spot the animals. Within the first ten minutes of the tour, we had already seen a cheetah eating and then some lions. He always made sure we were at the best spot to see everything, all thanks to his experience and skill.
Having such an experienced guide like Salomon truly made all the difference in our experience. This kind of trip is often a once-in-a-lifetime thing, and we had done a safari before with another company, but it just wasn’t the same. The value of having a guide who’s knowledgeable and genuinely passionate about showing the beauty of the Masai Mara is priceless.

Perfect safaris with the guide - JOHNNY JACKSON!
Our first trip to Kenya, covering Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Naivasha, and Samburu, was absolutely perfect, thanks to Jungleroam Safaris. The planning was seamless—huge thanks to Else for instant, clear communication that set a great tone.
The fundamental success of the trip, however, was our guide and driver, Johnny Jackson. He made our experience unforgettable! His dedication, deep wildlife knowledge, and professional driving skills impressed us daily.
A major bonus is his language skill: Johnny speaks perfect English and communicational Chinese, making him a fantastic guide for international visitors.
For photo lovers, Johnny is a genius: he forecasts animal paths and positions the vehicle perfectly for the best views and shots. He will do whatever it takes to 'wow' you with the wildlife animals.
We managed to see the Big Five in Maasai Mara and Special Five in Samburu
On top of that, Leopard, Cheetah and Lion cubs with many many more animals

Solomon was THE BEST tour guide! He knew where to be at the right time and was so knowledgeable
This tour was honestly the highlight of the trip for me. It just couldn’t have been better. Our guide Solomon was the BEST - always knowing where to be at the right time. As a result, we saw so many rare animals up close, experienced so many animal stories - we saw a cheetah hunting! - it was absolutely an amazing value for what you get: a truly once-in-a-lifetime experience. During our safari in Kenya, we were fortunate to have an exceptional driver: Jimmy. From the very first day, he demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the terrain and an almost infallible instinct for taking us right to where the animals were. Thanks to him, we were able to see the "Big Five" up close and experience unforgettable moments surrounded by wild nature. He drove quickly, safely, and professionally, and clearly knew every corner of all the parks we visited (Amboseli, Nakuru, and Maasai Mara) very well. That speed was part of what allowed us to arrive on time for incredible scenes, such as a leopard hunting or a herd of elephants crossing the path. An unforgettable safari in Kenya
We went on a safari in Kenya with Jungleroad, and it was an unforgettable experience, largely thanks to our amazing guide, Jimmy K.
From the start, his passion and dedication to providing us with the best experience were evident. With astonishing intuition, he always knew exactly where to go to enjoy the most spectacular views and even anticipated where the animals would appear, positioning the vehicle to get the best vantage points to enjoy the finest view. He was also extremely flexible and attentive, always adapting to our preferences and making every moment special.

A Rocky Start Turned into an Unforgettable Safari in a lifetime — Thanks to Ken!
Our safari with Jungleroam started off with an unfortunate incident. On our first day of safari, we unfortunately experienced a car accident when our first guide tried to avoid a motorcycle that suddenly braked in front of us. The distance between the vehicles was so close that a collision couldn’t be avoided. Two of our companions were injured, and one even needed stitches at a local hospital. It was a terrifying night, and for a moment, we seriously considered ending our trip and flying home.
Thankfully, Jungleroam replaced our guide with Ken — and everything changed from that point on. Ken is an exceptionally skilled and careful driver. Even in heavy traffic or on crowded roads, he always stays calm and patient, never rushing and always waiting for the safest moment to overtake.
During the safari, Ken impressed us with his deep knowledge of the wildlife. He always seemed to know exactly where to find the animals and positioned our jeep perfectly for the best views and photos. Even after we had already seen most of the animals on the very first day, Ken continued to surprise us with new sightings and moments we’ll never forget. Unlike our first guide, he doesn’t talk constantly, but his quiet confidence and genuine care speak louder than words.
While our experience with Jungleroam started off rocky — with slow communication on WhatsApp and the initial accident — we would still recommend them wholeheartedly only because of Ken. His professionalism, kindness, and warmth truly turned our safari into an unforgettable experience in a lifetime.

We were lucky enough to do our safari with Jimmy K, and we couldn’t have had a better guide. From the very beginning, his enthusiasm and dedication stood out — he made sure we saw every single animal, not missing a thing. He was always willing to help with anything we asked, attentive and always with a smile.
He’s also incredibly sharp — he knew exactly where to position the vehicle before anyone else so that we could enjoy the most spectacular moments. And on top of that, he’s an excellent driver, fast, skilled, and confident on any type of terrain.

JungleRoam: an operator with the best guide and driver to experience wildlife in Kenya
We want to sincerely thank our guide, Moisés, who with his knowledge, passion, and kindness made this safari with our entire family an unforgettable experience. We visited Amboseli, Nakuru, and Masai Mara National Parks. He clearly explained animal behavior, interesting facts about the local wildlife, and also very interesting cultural aspects of Kenya. We greatly appreciated that he spoke perfect Spanish, which allowed us to enjoy and understand every detail of the trip even more (and he always provided “maji baridi” for “the best guide”).We also want to thank the driver, Elías, whose professionalism and safe driving always ensured that we could get as close as possible to all the animals, reach every corner, and always feel safe and well-supported throughout the entire journey.
The experience and professionalism of both of them allowed us to enjoy wildlife in those parks. We were able to see the “Big Five” and many other animals in their natural habitat, all without disturbing the wildlife or altering their behavior. They always prioritized safety and respect for nature.
