We had an unforgettable safari experience with Safari Revive! From start to finish, everything was seamless and thoughtfully planned. Our tour operator, Linda, was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. I had a lot of questions during the planning stage, and she answered every one of them promptly and thoroughly. Her follow-up was excellent, and she offered guidance when we needed it without ever being pushy.
Our guide, Joel, was simply the best. He was not only knowledgeable and passionate about the Maasai Mara National Reserve, but also had a warm and engaging personality that made every game drive feel like an adventure. He knew the reserve inside and out and was absolutely determined to get us the best views and photo opportunities. Thanks to Joel, we got up close to so many incredible animals and created memories we’ll never forget.
We stayed at Mara Maisha Camp, which was the perfect home base. The accommodations were spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff truly made us feel like family. They were especially accommodating with our children, who are picky eaters—yet the chef went above and beyond to make sure they were happy. The food was absolutely delicious.
We cannot recommend Safari Revive enough. It was an experience of a lifetime, and we are so grateful to Linda, Joel, and the entire Mara Maisha Camp team for making it so special.

Our driver‑guide, Fred, was punctual, greeting us with cold water and a wide grin that didn’t fade for three days. His knowledge of Amboseli’s elephant families and birdlife was encyclopedic, yet he delivered it in easy, story‑filled bites that kept everyone—from first‑timers to seasoned safari‑goers—intrigued. Every request (“Can we stay longer by that cheetah?” or “Could we pop by a Maasai village?”) was accommodated without a hint of hassle, and the 4×4 Land Cruiser felt impeccably maintained and stocked.
Kibo Safari Camp & Overall Value
Kibo strikes a lovely balance between rustic adventure and creature comforts: canvas tents with real beds and hot showers, a lively nightly bonfire under starlit Kilimanjaro views, and buffet dinners featuring everything from nyama choma to vegetarian curries. Because Safari Revive negotiated a shoulder‑season package, the rate felt like a steal—park entry, three game drives, full board, and transfers came in well below quotes we’d collected elsewhere, without any hidden “extras.”
The Tour Itself
Amboseli delivered its signature drama: elephant herds silhouetted against Mount Kilimanjaro at dawn, pelicans skimming the marshes at sunset, and a lioness teaching her cubs to stalk. Peter’s patience meant we lingered until the perfect light and angle for photos—never a rushed “tick‑the‑Big‑Five” checklist. Even the drives between camp and the marshes doubled as impromptu lessons on conservation challenges and local Maasai culture.

Safari Revive, is a very easy company to work with. They are reliable and their employees were really good at their jobs. The safaris were excellent, taking us to the best locations for viewing the wildlife. The accommodations were excellent. I will go with them again.
