Agnes from Mercy Africa was very responsive and helpful, made the trip and our transfers very easy!
5/5

Agnes and the team of Mercy Africa has been very responsive and helpful during booking stage and the trip itself. My partner and I did the 5-day Safari Experience with comfortable accomodations, which were followed as is on the itinerary sent to us, very organized. Serengeti was surreal and we had a great overall experience. Thanks to our host agency, Mercy Africa.

A Wonderful Trip Hampered by Poor Logistics
4/5

Our safari adventure delivered moments we’ll never forget. Every wildlife sighting felt electric, and genuine connections made the journey special. Zanzibar was a standout. The private tour there set a new standard - everything ran seamlessly.

But the Tanzania joint safari brought tough lessons. From the start, our guide poured in relentless effort, steering us past every challenge. The team’s energy never faded. Each glimpse of wildlife kept us moving forward. Then reality hit hard.

On day two, our vehicle’s suspension broke down. We lost a full day in the Central Serengeti - a major letdown. The $100 refund felt like a token, not a solution. Combining our group with others based hours away threw plans into chaos.

Early departures slipped to late mornings due to everyone stayed at different locations that are far away from each other. On Mara River day for the Great Migration, the drive overshadowed the experience.

This isn’t just feedback. It’s a wake up call. If we want more visitors to have unforgettable journeys, Mercy's joint tours need a complete rethink.

Our guide was exceptional, but no one can make magic happen with obstacles like these. Please raise the bar. We hope the next adventure deserves better.

Expectations exceeded
5/5

Our safari was well organized from start to finish, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was our guide, Said. If you’re booking with this company, I highly recommend requesting him specifically he made all the difference.

Said was unbelievably knowledgeable about the parks, the wildlife, and animal behavior. He always knew exactly where to take us and somehow positioned us perfectly for the best sightings. We consistently got out early and ahead of the crowds, which made such a huge difference in the experience.

We traveled at the end of January into early February, and it was the perfect time to go. It’s slower season, but still during the Great Migration meaning wildlife everywhere without the peak-season congestion. We saw an incredible number of animals and avoided the busy corners of high season tourism.

It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and a big part of that was having Said as our guide.

Good value for the price of the budget tour.
4/5

Our guide “Said”(pronounced Saw-ee-di)was the best. He found all the hard to find animals. His English was very good. Our 6 day safari did not disappoint. If you have to pick one park in February I’d choose the Serengeti! Our guide for the last day was not informed on our itinerary so we almost missed the hot springs which are very beautiful and worth going to. Water was not hot. Air temperature, so great to relax.
