Safari honeymoon of our dreams! 🙂 Speechless!
First of all I would like to thank Philipo, the company owner, who really went out of his way to accomodate all our requests. From the first time I spoke to him to book our safari, he was really efficient in responding all of my queries and requests. He tailored a custom-made safari tour based on our budget and time limitations. We stayed in contact until the day of our safari where the company car came to pick us from our hotel to take us on our safari to Tarangire national park. This was such an amazing experience where we had the chance to see so many animals such as elephants 🐘, zebras 🦓, lions 🦁, monkeys 🐒, warthogs 🐗 and much more! We even had the chance to see ostriches mating which according to our guide, is a very rare occasion! We continued on our way to the picnic area to have lunch 🥘 in an amazing setting. Matey's really thought of every single detail! It was a really nice, delicious lunch.
Following thay we continued on some more game drive and then we were driven to our accommodation at Marera lodge - such a wonderful place! 🛏🛎
But before that, we were taken to a traditional Maasai village where we experienced the village life. This was something really unexpected and such a memorable experience!
The following morning we went on our way to Ngorongoro national park where we were treated to multiple more animals - this time even more close! We were also able to see a rhino 🦏 from afar! We were told this was one of the most difficult ones to see...On this day, Matey's treated us to a special surprise. Since we were on our honeymoon, they prepared a special lunch for us, with a personalised bottle of champagne 🍾🥂
Not only that but they even sent a professional videographer for our 2 days on safari. David was such an amazing and fun person. He took photos and videos of us in all occassions and made us feel very comfortable. A truly cool person!
Last but not least I cannot not mention our guide, Gabriel, who was so attentive to detail and such a knowledgeable guide. He answered all of our questions on all kinds of animals!
In conclusion, I cannot recommend Matey's enough to anyone who wishes to do a safari tour in Tanzania. This will be the safari of your dreams ☺️😀

My wife and I just returned from the most incredible five-day honeymoon in Tanzania, and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience with Mateys Wild Tours! From the moment we started planning, Philipo and his team took care of every detail, making our dream honeymoon a reality.

Our experience with Mateys Wild Tours was absolutely unforgettable
We embarked on the 7-day Machame route to Kilimanjaro, guided by the exceptional Mike Sandi, and we couldn’t have asked for a better leader. Philipo’s detailed Kilimanjaro documents and tips were invaluable, setting us up perfectly for the challenge. While two of our group of six encountered altitude sickness, Mike, along with guides Peter and Alphonce, went above and beyond to ensure we all reached Uhuru Peak—words can't express our gratitude for their expertise and support! After the climb, we embarked on a 5-day safari through the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, with Eric as our driver-guide. The journey was breathtaking, with Eric’s deep knowledge and enthusiasm making every moment unforgettable. The accommodations were top-notch—clean, comfortable, with delicious food that was the perfect end to our adventurous days. Mateys Wild Tours delivered an experience we’ll cherish forever!

Great Supporting team and Ultimate Trip
Our journey with Mateys Wild Tours was an unforgettable adventure from start to finish. We began with the challenging 8 days Lemosho Route to Kilimanjaro's summit, where Mr. Mike's exceptional leadership and expertise guided us to a successful and rewarding ascent. Following our climb, we had the privilege of visiting Msamaria Kids Center, where we offered our support to the orphaned children—a deeply touching and meaningful experience. Our adventure continued with a 2-day safari through the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire, expertly led by the incredibly friendly Swahibu, who shared his vast knowledge of the region’s wildlife. The trip concluded with a refreshing swim at the Chemka Hot Springs, followed by a seamless transfer to the airport. We are especially grateful to Isaac, who worked tirelessly to accommodate our every request, ensuring that our trip was perfectly tailored to our needs. It was a truly unforgettable family trip
I had the pleasure of booking with Mateys Wild Tours twice, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic! Our first trip took us to Tarangire and Lake Manyara National Parks for three days, and everything was flawlessly organized. We were so impressed that we booked a second, longer adventure—this time a 10-day journey through Ruaha National Park, Udzungwa Mountains, and Saadani Beach. Extremely knowledgeable tour guide, best driver ever and great accommodation provided

Our private trip from Arusha, Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater was super amazing. We were lucky to see the African big five from 3 Leopard, 2 Rhino, several buffalos, Elephants and more than 15 Lions.
Swahibu was a very passionate guide, flexible, funny, and willing to listen and answer all the questions openly and friendly.
