Very good Organization to make your trip unforgettable!
We made a very very nice trip to Murchison Falls, Queen Elizabeth Park, Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and more. We stayed in beautiful lodges and we had great professional guides. We booked a 4 days Murchinson Fall Tour for a big group (18 people) and 10 Days Tour (Queen Elizabeth Park, Gorilla Tracking & Hiking in Rwenzori) for 4 people. I had a wonderful trip with Likana Safaris. The guides were very well organized and were able to answer every question. Small spontaneous changes to the program were no problem after consultation. We felt very safe throughout the entire trip. The value for money was amazing. Thanks to very personalized tours, we mostly avoided the large crowds and were able to observe the animals undisturbed and take breathtaking photos. Not be neglected should be the perfectly maintained and very comfortable vehicle - incredibly important on long journeys. After we were back in the city, we got valuable tips for good restaurants and places to go. Shortly after the “big” safari, we booked two more smaller trips near the city. These were also carried out in an uncomplicated and excellently organized manner. All in all, I can only recommend this organizer.

Awesome Experience
We had two awesome safari experiences with Bonny's team. A safari in Murchison Falls National Park where we saw all the wildlife and had an incredible lion encounter! And the gorilla trekking in Bwindi National Park with a fascinating observation of these gentle giants.
The tours were well organised without any unforeseen inconveniences and nice accomodations with good food and very polite people.
I can highly recommend Likana Safaris and their work.

Professional and solicitous team
We contacted Likana Safaris Uganda for a three-day safari to the Murchison Falls and we ended up having a thoroughly enjoyable experience thanks to the professional and friendly Likana team.
Since the planning phase, we had a courteous and competent interaction that allowed tailoring the programme to our needs. In the safari we had Patrick as the driver, who was not only an accomplished driver but also a very well informed guide who, as a former ranger, gave us very interesting insights into the wildlife and the various issues related to it. We were accompanied by Bonny, too, who was a pleasant companion and always attentive to our needs and ready to readjust the schedule according to the changing needs and opportunities.
The safari drives were enjoyable and allowed us to see a lot of game, from elephants to oribis. Deserving particular mention a not too patient leopard with its arboreal pantry and the elegant crowned cranes. In the short cruise towards the falls, we could see some crocs and many hippos and enjoy the young but already majestic Nile relaxing after the drop, seen at a distance. On the following day, the walk at the top of the falls gave us a different view of the same river, thunderously plunging in a cloud of spray, leaving an unforgettable mark on our memory. On the way back we stopped at the Ziwa rhino sanctuary and took a short hike for a close encounter with these amazing beasts.
Altogether, it was an interesting and informative experience made more pleasant by the attention and professionality of the highly commended Likana Safaris crew.

A memorable experience
We were fortunate enough to go on a 3-day trip to the Murchison Falls National Park with Likana Safaris Uganda in February of this year.
We had three days packed with wonderful experiences.
We saw a large number of animals and birds during the game drive: elephants, giraffes, hippos, buffalo, crowned cranes, to name just some.
Another highlight of the safari was the boat cruise up to the Falls with sightings of hippo and numerous bird life. And on our last day, we were taken to the top of the Falls: a spectacular view of the river as it plunges down the gorge.
The whole trip was a great success due to the outstanding organization by Likana Safaris and the knowledge and experience of its excellent guide.
Great accommodation too at the Sambiya River Lodge.
Uganda is well worth visiting and Likana Safaris did an excellent job in introducing us to this beautiful country.

Very experienced and eager to show us as many animals as possible.
We had the chance to go on a 3 day trip to Murchison falls which was an intense but definitely worth it. It was a great trip. We were 8 people in one car and saw so many animals from lions, to elephants, buffalo's, leopards,.... Overall a great experience and our guide was also flexible and knowledgeable about the animals and the park. Without him we definitely would not have seen so many great animals. The accomodation jibiri was also super. We had a shared room for 2 people with nice AC, bathroom and comfortable beds. The AC was definitely necessary. The staff was nice, only the food orders took quite some time, but the food itself good. I can definitely recommend the trip. In a short trip one gets to see so much and Murchison falls with it's impressive water falls, animals, and landscape is definitely worth a visit.

3-Day Gorilla Trekking
We booked our 3-day gorilla trekking through Likana Safari at a great price-performance ratio. We experienced a lot in a short time, including a visit to Lake Mburo, gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a guided community walk and a stop at the equator on the way back. We really liked the accommodation at Ride 4 a Women. The times we were given beforehand were not always very precise, but we had already prepared ourselves for longer journeys anyway. I can only warmly recommend this trip.
