Zanzibar - Last Minute!!
We gave Gerdie 72 hrs to arrange a trip to Zanzibar, for 3 people, in PEAK season, and we insisted on a particular side of the island. Somehow...he pulled it off :) We stayed at the beautiful Double Tree Hilton, in Nungwi. The desperately needed R&R was achieved...all thanks to the amazing service from Gerdie and Getaway Africa. I cannot recommend them enough.

From beginning to end it was such a pleasure to work with Annelie. She was always helpful, quick to respond with very helpful feedback and a delight to deal with. Annelie is very reliable and never in the seven times she organized our tour had she failed in any way. Everything went as promised. On our last trip we wanted to stay longer. In a very short time our flights and transfers were changed.
Her quote is always very good. A friend of mine never used her before and i told him about her. She cut the quote of the operator that he worked
trough for a number of years with a nice amount. She is always available on whatsapp. We left on 4 January stayed in Bankok for four days then Pattaya for four days and Phuket for five days witch we extended to ten she arranged the change of flights in a short time. I would recommend her to anyone even if you already have a quote try her also for a quote.

best tour if you're short on time
Overall the this was more on the expensive side compared to the other tours we did in Africa, we paid extra for a pickup from the airport as well. Obviously there are a few intermediaries involved. The tour itself was good as it included all the key touristy destinations that we wanted to visit given the limited time we were in Namibia. Accommodation was great with all inclusive meals. Communication before the tour was great and reliable. Tour guide was excellent, explained the significance of the places and any questions we had. The safari vehicle was comfortable given the rough roads we had to take and we had plenty of water to keep us hydrated.
