Organized, kind, ready to listen to all the needs.
We had a fantastic experience with Akondo. There were four of us, and everything was excellent. Our driver, David, went above and beyond to meet all our expectations. He is extremely knowledgeable and has been doing this job for more than 20 years.
It was truly an amazing adventure, especially thanks to David, who took us to all the right places and helped us spot almost every animal. He has an in-depth understanding of animal behavior, which even allowed us to witness a predator-prey chase.
The price-quality standard is balanced.

The 10-day safari trip was perfectly organized according to our wishes.
We had picked out 5 different providers. Akondo responded to our email inquiry the fastest. The staff member also quickly addressed our requests to change the tour and made the changes accordingly.

We also saw the "Big 5" and even the "ugliest animals in Africa😉" .
It was a fantastic trip for us, also thanks to our driver Richard and the interpreter Dahuti.
The accommodations and the food were perfect as well.

Amazing
We had an amazing safari experience! Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Our guide Richard was extremely knowledgeable and professional, and he shared soooo many interesting facts and stories about the animals and nature. It was a great pleasure to travel with him through the savanna.
In just four days, we were lucky enough to see all the most popular animals, which made the trip truly unforgettable. We were very impressed with the organization, the quality of the guiding, and the overall experience.

Amazing safari experience with Akondo Adventures from start to finish!!
We booked our safari back in March with the idea that we would be on safari for my wife's 60th birthday and we spent three days visiting Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. Zuberi our guide & driver was brilliant! He looked after us for the 3 days and made sure we were in all the right places to see as much wild life as possible. Tassiana in the Akondo office made everything so easy to plan from the begining right through to when we had to leave and was always on hand to answer any questions i might have and also arranged for a brithday cake and a bespoke wheel cover for my wife's 60th birthday.
I would highly recommend Akondo Adventures if you're planning on booking a safari.

We recently booked a 3-day/2-night fly-in safari to Kogatende (Northern Serengeti) with Akondo Adventures, and it exceeded every single expectation we had! Since this was part of our honeymoon, we were looking for something truly extraordinary, and Akondo delivered from start to finish.
Flying directly into Kogatende saved us so much travel time and put us right in the heart of the action from day one. The absolute highlight of the trip was witnessing the Great Migration—seeing the wildebeest river crossings in person was an intense, breathtaking experience that we will never forget.
The tented camps were incredible—combining an authentic "out in the wild" feel with surprising comfort, great food, and the magical experience of falling asleep to the sounds of the Serengeti.
A massive shoutout to our guide, Fonika! Fonika was simply outstanding. His knowledge of the park, animal behavior, and keen eye for spotting wildlife made all the difference. He knew exactly where to position us for the best views without being intrusive, and his warm energy and professional driving made every game drive a joy.
Everything—from the flight logistics to the game drives and camp arrangements—was executed seamlessly. If you are looking for an action-packed, unforgettable Serengeti experience, we cannot recommend Akondo Adventures and Fonika enough. Asante sana!

We spent three days visiting Tarangire National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara National Park. David and the Akondo team took very good care of us during the whole experience, from the safari to the accommodations.
David is a fantastic guide. Thanks to his knowledge and experience, we were able to see many animals. He is also a friendly and easy-going person, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
We definitely recommend Akondo and David, and we hope to come back in the future!

Unforgatable tour with Richard
We are doing a 5 days tour in 3 Park Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengueti. Lucky we where to be with Richard. He is very professional Guy with a fantastic knowledge of animals, nature and history
of the territoires. We spend a lot of time with question and discution in the car.
We recommand without any dout this organisation for the sélection of the places, the safety of the trip, the welcome and the final surprise in the hôtel over Ngorongoro caldeira.
A new time many thanks to Boris and Richard, and we hope to be back with them next time

An unforgettable experience!!
My partner and I chose the 4 day option which included 2 nights in the Serengeti, then heading to the Ngorogoro Crater, before heading to our final accommodation for one more night. This was truly an unforgettable experience!
Prior to departing, Philip from Akondo Adventures consulting team did an outstanding job in helping us to design the perfect trip. He was very knowledgable, helpful and understanding of our budget and requirements, and his response time and communication was fantastic. He genuinely took the time to provide us with an outstanding itinerary and personalise a truly unforgettable trip. His recommendations were also perfect and thanks to him we have absolutely no regrets!! Our trip included flights in and out, all accommodation, food, game drives, and all transfers, and from the moment it started, everything was exceptionally organised.
In the Serengeti, we stayed in the Mbuni Luxury Tented Camp, which was a truly authentic and unique experience. In the heart of the Serengeti, the camp is unfenced, meaning any animals happening to wonder through were free to do so and made the experience really exciting! The rooms were beautiful, with private bathroom including a hot shower, double sinks and amenities, and a toilet. The food was great and all the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming and provided us with an amazing stay. The dinner by the campfire was a real highlight!
I especially want to highlight our guide, Funika, who deserves the highest possible praise and recognition. From the moment he picked us up at the Seronera airstrip in central Serengeti, he was incredibly warm, welcoming, friendly, and attentive, and he immediately made us feel that we were in fantastic hands. Throughout the safari, Funika worked tirelessly to give us the best experience possible. Whatever animal we hoped to see, he was determined to find it for us and somehow, he always did! We were promised the big 5, and while nothing is guaranteed in the wild, thanks to Funika's dedication, knowledge, and incredible ability to locate wildlife, we were fortunate enough to see all of the Big Five, as well as so much more, and we left feeling that we had seen absolutely everything we had hoped for. His knowledge of the Serengeti, its wildlife, animal behaviour, the environment, and where to find different species was exceptional. He was always happy to share what he knew, which made every sighting even more interesting and memorable. Beyond his expertise, he also kept the mood and energy at the highest level throughout the trip and catered to every request or wish we had. More than anything, Funika is simply one of the loveliest and friendliest people we have ever met. We genuinely missed him the moment he left us, which says everything about the impression he made. He played an enormous part in making our safari such an unforgettable experience, and we honestly could not have hoped for a better guide. Anyone booking with Akondo Adventures would be extremely fortunate to have Funika as their guide. We could not recommend him highly enough! 5 stars simply wouldn’t be enough or do him justice - he deserves 10 stars or more!!
Overall, the value for money was fantastic, all services were reliable, on time, and efficient, and anyone looking to book a safari in Tanzania should definitely book with Akondo Adventures. The entire process from start to finish was impeccably organised, and we truly had the most unforgettable time! Anyone looking to book, we definitely would recommend Akondo Adventures and consider yourselves lucky if Funika is your guide!
