Richard was very accommodating, was knowledgeable about all wildlife, and made us feel right at home
This was our first trip to Tanzania. We booked our safari with Alonso Adventures with Boris, who went above and beyond to answer all of our questions. this trip was for my mom‘s birthday and Boris helped me plan the perfect birthday trip for my mom. We met Richard, our tour guide, right as we got off the plane. Richard was the absolute best. We highly recommend him as your tour guide. He not only made us laugh and helped us enjoy our time, he was very very knowledgeable about all the wildlife, especially the birds! We learned so much from him. Boris also helped us plan a birthday cake surprise for my mom, and they all sang the birthday song in a group for her, including Richard! Richard was like family. We also made friends at the hotel, including Rocky. Rocky made sure we had everything we possibly needed. We love Rocky. Then Boris helped us along the way with transfers and flights to Zanzibar. We had an amazing time on the island and the resort Boris had on the itinerary was top notch. We booked excursions on the island and all transfers included in the excursions were very pleasant. At the hotel, we met Pedro, who was extremely helpful with all excursions and other things to do on the island and any other thing that we needed. Pedro was consistently checking in with us, making sure everything was perfect for us. He also helped us plan a birthday cake for my mom and sang to her as well. Boris helped us along the way and with our flight back to Kilimanjaro from Zanzibar. The transfer from Arusha airport to Kilimanjaro airport was extremely nice! His name was Ezekiel. He was 23 and was learning English and was doing very well! We loved how eager he was to learn more English, and he was teaching us Swahili! We will never forget this trip thanks to Boris, Richard, Pedro, Rocky and Ezekiel and everyone else in between. If you’re thinking about booking a trip to Tanzania, you must use a condo adventures with Boris!!

Unbelievable experience
We had the absolute time of our lives with Akondo Adventures and our amazing guide Dave!
The trip was perfectly organized, filled with unforgettable moments, the accommodations were incredibly comfortable and had the best staff on site.
But what really has made our safari exceptional was our guide and now also friend, Dave!
He is the best, kindest, coolest and funniest guide we could ever have hoped for.
Furthermore, his 17 years safari experienced ensured us a lot of rare and incredible moments during our game drive!!
Dave’s knowledge, energy and warm personality turned every game drive into an adventure we’ll never forget.
He made us feel safe, welcome and constantly entertained (ask him about the recipe for mashed potatoes)!
Thanks to him, we not only saw amazing wildlife but also laughed more than we did in ages :).

EXCELLENT!
We chose Akondo Adventures for our honeymoon and it was a great choice. From the very beginning, Boris made sure we had an itinerary tailored to our needs. Then Richard became our guide and he was excellent! We're so happy because Richard made sure we saw the Big Five! Plus, my dream was to see lion cubs and a baby elephant, and we did it thanks to him! He explained everything to us; our English isn't very good, but he spoke Spanish and we were able to communicate very well. He even taught us some Swahili words! We 100% recommend Akondo. They also helped us book the hot air balloon safari, which is a truly unique experience!

The best tour operator
Akondo tailored our safari exactly to our wishes. Everything before the trip was so smooth, and our guide Richard was absolutely incredible. He taught us so much about the animals and helped us find all the animals we wanted to see.
The price was lower than competitors for exactly the same safari. The accommodation at the lodge was excellent with good food and friendly staff.
Amazing experience
was an absolutely fantastic experience. Laurian accompanied us from start to finish, planning each day together with us and always suggesting the best possible itinerary. All the lodges were wonderful, and the parks were truly unique.

Amazing safari experience
Our safari with Akondo was exceptional from start to finish. Everything was perfectly organized, from the private driver pick-up in Zanzibar to the flights, safari experience, and return transfer.
The guiding was excellent and the lodge selection was simply outstanding (Nyota Luxury Camp and Manyara Best View Lodge were both incredible). The cost is on the higher side, but the overall experience was truly premium and absolutely worth it. We were extremely satisfied and would highly recommend Akondo.

Truly Amazing Experience
We had the most amazing experience with Akondo Adventures from start to finish. Everything was organised seamlessly, including our 3-day, 2-night safari, and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional.
The safari itself exceeded every expectation. From flying into the reserve on a small plane to staying in a beautiful, peaceful lodge, the whole experience felt exclusive and completely non-touristy. At times it genuinely felt like we were the only people there.
The wildlife was extraordinary. We saw so many animals, including lions, giraffes and elephants, often at very close range, and never felt rushed or surrounded by other vehicles. Every game drive felt thoughtful, calm and incredibly special.
Akondo Adventures truly understands how to create an authentic safari experience rather than a mass-market one. It was beautifully curated, personal and unforgettable from beginning to end. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would absolutely use them again.
