Professional, well-organized safari from a local operator with excellent personal service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
We had an excellent safari experience with Akondo Adventures and would happily recommend them to others.
From our first inquiry until the end of the trip, communication was friendly, prompt, and professional. Tassiana was always available to answer our questions and proactively checked in during the safari to make sure everything was going well.
Our guide Richard was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, experienced, and clearly passionate about wildlife. Thanks to his expertise, we saw an incredible variety of animals, including all of the Big Five, and learned a lot about Tanzania’s national parks and ecosystems along the way. He was also flexible, patient, and made every day enjoyable.
The itinerary was well planned, with comfortable accommodation and unforgettable experiences throughout. One particularly memorable surprise was a beautifully arranged bush lunch as well as the walking Safari, which was a real highlight of the trip. We also appreciated the small personal touches and the care taken to ensure everything ran smoothly.
One point that could be communicated more clearly is the payment process. Credit card payments through their payment provider incur a processing fee, which reduced the amount received by the operator. Although this was mentioned in the booking terms and clearly highlighted via E-Mail, we would have preferred if the invoices had reflected the final amount due from the beginning to avoid any confusion.
Overall, however, this was a fantastic safari that exceeded our expectations. We felt well looked after from start to finish and returned home with unforgettable memories. Thank you to Tassiana, Richard, and the entire Akondo Adventures team for making our first safari such a special experience.

Knowledgeable
Richard is very knowledgeable and knows how and where to see each animal! He’s a great driver and nice person. The jeep is comfortable and Escarpment Luxury Lodge, which comes with the safari package, was incredible. Amazing food, kind people, and gorgeous views.
Incredible, perfect, everything we dreamed a Safari could be and more
Our safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and the Serengeti was truly the trip of a lifetime, and we cannot recommend it highly enough!
Our driver and guide, Julius, went above and beyond our expectations from the very beginning. He was kind, friendly, professional, and always took the time to ask us what we wanted to see and how we wanted to spend each day. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he genuinely cared about making our experience as special as possible.
Julius' knowledge of the wildlife, the parks, and the surrounding environment was exceptional. We spent hours talking about the animals, conservation, and his experiences as a guide, and he was able to answer every question we had.
Thanks to Julius' incredible tracking skills and determination, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big Five, along with countless other amazing animals. He somehow managed to find every animal we hoped to see—often multiple times! He also made sure we were always in the best position for incredible photographs and constantly checked that we were happy and enjoying every moment. His attention to detail and genuine commitment to providing an unforgettable experience was outstanding.

From start to finish, the service we received was exceptional. We honestly couldn't have asked for a better safari experience and will be recommending both this company and Julius to everyone we know.

We had an absolutely incredible experience with Akondo Adventures!
From the very beginning, Tassiana provided us with outstanding 360-degree support, tailoring every single detail of the trip to our needs with amazing flexibility. She truly designed the perfect custom itinerary for us. The accommodations and meals were fantastic and perfectly suited to our preferences.
Once on the road, our driver Rama made our safari unforgettable. Thanks to his expertise and guidance, we got to see all the animals and enjoy the experience to the absolute fullest. He managed every moment of the trip perfectly. Additionally, our Toyota Land Cruiser was exceptionally comfortable and fully equipped with every amenity we could need.

Super safari experience
We had a great time with Akondo Adventures on our safari through Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, and Lake Manyara, and I definitely recommend them!

The accommodation was another huge highlight—we stayed at a truly awesome lodge that provided comfort and wonderful hospitality after long days out on the game drives.

Best guide ever
We did a 4-day safari and visited three different parks: Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti. The experience was truly amazing. Thanks to our guide Julius and his incredible expertise, we were able to see all the Big Five and all the other animals of the savanna and the bush. All the accommodations were beautiful and luxurious. Julius was able to teach us everything about this magnificent habitat and give us an unforgettable experience that we will carry in our hearts forever. Thank you so much.

Impossible to do better
Company suggested by a friend.
Boris was super kind months before we arrived. A friend of mine unfortunately could not join one week before and he partly had his money back. Fantastic.
Our guide, Richard is the best driver and he is super skilled about ecosystem. He drove us through Serengeti, Ngorongoro and tarangire, teaching us everything about animals and nature.

It was a really great experience with Akondo Adventures! The whole safari was well organized, comfortable and, most importantly, a lot of fun.
Everything went smoothly and we felt well taken care of throughout the entire experience. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable, and we were able to fully enjoy the safari without having to worry about anything.

The real deal! Richard numero 1!
I have to start with our first encounter we have met during our 3 days adventures... RICHARD! He was super nice and really made our trip always with a smile and telling interesting stories about animals. He's really passionate! Moreover we managed to see all what we wanted, I think because he has great connections on site and therefore he gets the news of all the wildlife super soon 😀
We have seen so many animals (all we wanted to see) and met many friendly people everywhere you go.
