A superb tour operator!
The first time I have organised and booked a holiday through a tour operator not based in the UK. Following excellent reviews on Trip Advisor, I contacted Wild Wings Safris as the standard South African safari/ Cape Town tours offered a limited safari experience, or were way above our budget limit. (We being four retired ladies.) From the start, I was really impressed with the advice and speed of replies to my emails from Madi at Wild Wings.With her enthusiasm and knowledge of both Cape Town and Kruger National Park, we had the most amazing holiday - truly a holiday of a life time. Our accomodation, guides, itinery were all wonderful. I never expected that we would get to stay in Timbavati, a private reserve, next to Kruger, and drive off road into the bush to watch lions next to the vehicle, a leopard and her cub from a dry river bed and many, many more amazing experiences. Have no hesitation in using Wild Wings - I just wish they could plan all my holidays!

Wild Wings Safari plans our second fantastic safari vacation
Clare at wild Wings Safaris set up our second once-in-a-lifetime safari vacation. Once again, everything came together perfectly without any problems. Clare worked closely with us as we planned our safari trip. Her help and suggestions led to another fantastic safari vacation. This time we visited four camps in Botswana (Baines, Nxabega, and Little Kwara in the Okavango Delta and Lebala in the Kwando Reserve), spent three nights in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, then visited Little Makalolo in Zimbabwe's Hwange National Park. All the camps were wonderful and together provided a great mix of experiences.

Incredible
We went to South Africa for our honeymoon. From the beginning to the end the planning was great. Initially Madi helped with the guiding us through the process and then the different options and expenses. Once arriving at Kruger we had Simon as our guide and he was amazing. He has so much knowledge and is able to see animals we would never be able to pick out! The food was amazing and he always made sure everyone was taken care of. He also made sure everyone had fun! We were able to see the Big 5 and other animals as well including a white elephant, which is very uncommon to see. He would explain facts about the animals and was excited about the big and small animals. We would recommend anyone to use Wild Wings as the company. They are highly competent and we cannot say enough good about them! Thanks again this will be one of the most memorable vacations of our life time and a great way to start our life together :)

Simon our guide is an excellent host with a wealth of knowledge , experience and who can spot a tick on the behind of a Rhino at a 1000 yards. We had great fun.
We will be recommending Wild Wings to all our friends and family and will most certainly use Wild Wings again ourselves.

Amazing Experience, Excellent Guide
Me and my friends recently returned from a 3 Day Kruger Park Safari with Wild Wings Safaris. First of all, the booking was easy, I had many questions and changed options many times and they were always polite and friendly and quick to respond. The tour itself was incredible. Our guide Simon was awesome. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and even a great cook. I would recommend this company to all. I hope we get the change to go back and use Wild Wings Safaris again in the future.

A dream come true!
We just returned from the most incredible trip to South Africa, thanks to Wild Wings Safaris. From first contact with our consultant, Madi, to our departure after 2.5 weeks in the beautiful country, everything was fantastic. Our trip included a couple of day tours near Johannesburg, 9 days in the Greater Kruger Area, and 5 days in Cape Town. I emailed back and forth with Madi for a year, and she helped me plan the perfect trip based on our budget, style, and needs. This was our first time travelling overseas, so we had many questions and concerns and Madi answered them all. The main focus of the trip was to fulfill my Dad's lifelong dream of going on safari, but we did and saw so much more.
Everything went so smoothly. All of the service we experienced was absolutely fantastic, everything exceeded our expectations. All of our accommodations were great, the food and the service outstanding. We would go back to any and all of them!
Of course I must mention our time in Kruger with Simon (co-owner of Wild Wings, and guide extraordinaire), what a character! We had such fun with him, and were so impressed with his knowledge of all things wild. We saw so much wildlife, and it was so great how we were able to learn so much about birds. We saw all of the big 5, and more, including leopards and cheetahs. He must be one of the best guides in the park! The food was also great - he was so well prepared and we enjoyed all of it. A huge huge thanks to shoeless Simon! We really got a kick out of him.
I highly recommend a safari trip to South Africa; the people are friendly, the scenery is stunning, and the wildlife is abundant and amazing. The service and advice we received from Wild Wings made this trip outstanding and truly worry-free. I can't say enough about this company. I will be using them again in the future, and recommending them to friends. Thank you, Wild Wings, our trip was truly a dream come true!

Excellent service and driving, have seen many animals with a guide having a lot of experience
The service was very good. Our guide was always in time, he prepared almost every meal for us. We were a small group and our guide drived us to the best places. We saw elephants, zebras, girafs, hyenas, baboons, eagles, voltures, crocodiles, hippos, rhinos and lots of impalas. Far away we could discover some cheetas having their meal. One lepard was crossing the road marking his area. Besides we loved the outdoor breakfast in Krüger with a great sight over the park. And the barbecue in the evening was also excellent. Our guide telled us a lot about the animals and life in South Africa. So it was very interesting for us Eurpeans.

4 day tour to Kruger National Park
Outstanding experience and the trip of a lifetime. Our guide was excellent both at finding and spotting game. In addition Neil was a gourmet cook and kept us well fed and warm (blankets on morning game drives). We also got an interesting history lesson on the Anglo-Boer War and the first uso concentration camps. Neil is a true Renaissance man and greatly contributed to our tour.

Wild Wings Safari Are Simply The Best In Business
Just returned from a big trip from Africa. We found Wild Wings Safari on the tripadviser. From the first contact we had with Madi about a year ago, Wild Wings' approach is the best level of personal and friendly service, meticulous attention to detail, and thorough preparation and follow-up. Me and my daughter had 25 days of travel, 5 days in Namibia, more than a week in Botswana, 3 days in Vistoria Falls and then rest of the trip in Kruger and Cape Town, Madi in Wild Wings planned everything and all was done with complete honesty and integrity. Such a company is truly a rare find these days!
We never expected our trip so smoothly &successfully, considering about so many places, so many transfers through land and air, expecially air, we could not do it without Madi's countless hours helping us create that perfect 25 day Safari that suited all our needs. We just really enjoyed our great trip and we even more appreciate Madi's hard work.
We will definitely use Wild Wings again for our future Africa trips!!!

Perfect safari experience
If you are looking to go on safari and have no idea where to begin...book with Wild Wings! Claire was knowledgeable, professional and arranged the perfect trip to Kambaku Safari Lodge (see separate review for Kambaku on Trip Advisor), that has run smoothly and efficiently. She offered advise and sent thorough documents and additional information, without which, I would have gone unprepared. (Who knew that you need to take a baggie with toilet tissue into the bush!)
