Best experience
My husband and I had a 9 day safari (Kampala, Murchison Falls NP, Queen Elizabeth NP, Bwindi, Lake Bunonyi and back) with Turkana tours, aboard the Land Cruiser “Hippo” who proved to be such a trusty vehicle despite its age. We’ve covered some 1400kms.
We were driven by Ishmael, who, just like Hippo, was trustworthy and tough. We had minor hiccups along the way, which is to be expected while in Africa, but he managed to problem solve well.
Along the way to Queens National Park, we encountered a motor vehicle accident involving another safari vehicle from a different company. He was very kind to stop and help. Kudos to you Ishmael.
From enquiring about the trip, making changes to the itinerary, and finally booking it, to meeting Joel himself and returning home to New Zealand, Joel has communicated with us so well throughout to ensure our trip was wonderful from start to finish.

Tukana make us feel safe, welcoming and special.

Amazing experience with amazing team
It was an incredible experience to go on our first safari with Turkana! They were always very professional and ready to help us with our requests, and our guide was amazing in guiding us to great spots to see all the animals in Queen Elizabeth. Super recommended!

I had an amazing 3-day trip to QEP with Turkana. The guides were amazing and professional. They wanted us to enjoy the safari experience. Our driver max was an exellent spotter. He spotted a lot of birds and even a leopard in a hidden tree. Overall nice experience and smooth logistics.
Great organisation and great people, this was an amazing experience!
We went on a 3-day safari at Queen Elisabeth and got the most out of it thanks to Joel and Max!

Perfect planning and support
My experience with Turkana was amazing. The guys were amazing from the first moment providing all the details. Also during the tour, despite not being planned in the initial programme, we were able to include additional elements we were interested in. We even managed to have a last minute small (unplanned) safari to see some lions!

Professional and well vast with all Uganda tourism destinations
While at the safari you really had fun and given all the relevant information I wanted to know about Murchison falls National park. The communication and question response was at high class. It’s a great deal to travel with Turkana wildlife safari as they value clients money with great services.
