Fantastic safari experience with knowledgeable guide and reliable service
We compared many local operators via WeChat and email before our trip and finally chose West Wild. They were highly recommended. Communication in Chinese via WeChat was prompt and responsive, offering the best value for money among all the options we inquired about.
The lodges were mostly mid-range to semi-luxury, and the itinerary included links to all accommodation. The whole trip ran smoothly without any issues such as hotel switches or delays. The owner checked our experience in the group chat every day.
Our safari vehicle was well-equipped with charging ports, a fridge and sunshades. Water, Coke and beer were supplied in plenty, and the car was cleaned regularly. We could see many of their vehicles out on safari, showing they are a well-established operator. On our final day before departure, they even treated us to a Chinese meal.
Special shout-out to our guide Temba! He speaks fluent English and can answer all our questions. He actively introduced facts about local flora and fauna, helping us learn new things every day.
He managed to show us every animal we hoped to see. When spotting new wildlife, he would immediately check reference books for us. He always positioned the car for the best photography angles and even took excellent photos of animals for us.
His eyesight is amazing! Once he spotted a leopard hiding far under a tree, which no other vehicles had noticed. He drove over, and we got to watch the elusive leopard.

Extremely smooth safari experience with West Wild, always beyond expectations.
Communication-wise, everything went quite smoothly. Since we are Chinese, we were able to communicate with them in Chinese throughout the entire process.
In terms of pricing, we did some research and felt that the price was quite fair. The arrangements and hotels they booked for us were all pretty good, our guide was very nice, and the vehicle was well stocked with drinks.
Overall, the whole trip was very hassle-free. During the trip, we hardly ever needed to contact West Wild again to sort anything out.

Excellent guy
We had an amazing experience with West Wild on our Tanzania safari, and I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to East Africa.
Everything was well organized from the beginning, and the whole journey felt smooth and thoughtfully arranged. Our guide was professional, patient, knowledgeable, and very familiar with the wildlife and the parks. He always tried his best to help us find the animals we wanted to see, while never making the experience feel rushed.
One thing I especially appreciated was the flexibility of the trip. Safari conditions can be unpredictable, but the team was always responsive and willing to adjust the schedule when needed. We were able to enjoy the landscapes, wildlife, and photography at our own pace, which made the experience much more relaxing and memorable.
The Serengeti was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Watching the sunrise over the grasslands, seeing animals in their natural environment, and spending hours simply observing wildlife were experiences I will remember for a long time.

Every day brought new surprises, from spotting animals in their natural habitat to enjoying peaceful moments deep in the wilderness.
