We had John as our guide from Betawild when we were staying at the Fairmont on Mara North.
John Ndichu was our guide when we staying at the Fairmont at Mara North
He was experienced, knowledgeable and very pleasant. We also found him to be very accommodating to our particular situation. We were able to see animals and plants that we had not seen on our other safari stops. We also had great success with John to get very close to male lions and giraffes. The Rhino sanctuary visit and the sundowner cocktail on the mountain with a fire pit and beautiful views was also wonderful! Thank you John !!

Felt so at home!!
I booked a Safari for myself and my two girls (11 and 8). It was our first time in Kenya (Masai Mara) and first time on a safari. John from Betawild took care of us for 6 days and 5 nights. He was extremely organised, punctual, accommodating to our requests and flexible. He was also very experienced and was able to explain many things to us about the animals and the area. I would strongly recommend a safari with John!

John was an absolutely fantastic safari tour operator! He took us through the Masai Mara and made the entire experience unforgettable. Thanks to his sharp eyes and deep knowledge of the park, we were lucky enough to see all of the Big 5 — plus so many other amazing animals. John was professional, friendly, and clearly passionate about what he does. He made us feel safe, comfortable, and totally immersed in the adventure. We can’t recommend him highly enough!
Betawild Safaris tour operator's name was Paul.
Very organized, reliable and flexible tour company. Paul was very punctual for collection of the tour which was appreciated. He was very engaging for the entire time and informed us on the history of Nairobi national park. He catered to my mother (71 Years old) who is living with dementia...he was gentle and also her needs in mind and spoke to her in her cultural language.
Was a great driver, we all felt very safe.
Highly recommend this organization. John facilitated the planning and organized with Paul the day and both provided a fabulous experience..

Unforgettable experience
John went above and beyond to make sure everybody had a great safari experience, he was puntual, friendly and knowledgeable, he took care of every request and he has a lot of experience which is crucial to get the most of the safari experience.

Great Safari Experience
We spent 5 days and 4 nights in the Maasai Mara with Mr. John. We had an amazing experience. He was extremely knowledgable about the park and the animals. He anticipated where the animals would be next and would place the Land Cruiser there, so we would be in the best position for photos.
He was able also to gather information about where the animals were and get us to them. We had nearly two dozen lion sightings over four days with many of them by ourselves as Mr. John took us to more remote areas of the park. We even saw a very rare leopard due to intel he was able to gather.
We cannot recommend this company enough!

Paul Kimani was the best tour operator by far. He was So knowledgeable! And also a lot of fun!
Request Paul Kimani as your tour operator and you will not be disappointed! He knew everything about every animal, but also was very fun and always kept everyone engaged in the conversations. So happy and fun to be around, fantastic, 10 out of 10.
