Reliable, kind, thoughtful and exceptional value.
I had one of the most extraordinary wildlife experiences of my life with Amos and Bush Wander. Meeting shoebills up close and personal is something I will never forget. It felt surreal and incredibly special and I still find myself talking about it all the time.
We also visited the CTC Conservation Center, which added such depth and meaning to the experience. It wasn’t just about seeing wildlife, but truly understanding conservation and the environment in a much more personal and thoughtful way.
What made the experience truly exceptional was Amos himself. He is kind, patient, deeply knowledgeable and incredibly intuitive. He has this rare ability to read both people and animals. At times it genuinely felt like he was an animal whisperer. On top of that, he’s a talented cinematographer, capturing moments beautifully without ever making anything feel staged or intrusive.
From start to finish, communication was clear, responsive and reassuring. Everything ran seamlessly and exactly as planned, which made the entire experience feel effortless. Amos is reliable, professional and clearly takes great pride in delivering something special for each guest.
The experience was also excellent value for money. The level of care, expertise and access you receive far exceeds what you might expect. It felt completely tailored and thoughtful and I was able to fully relax and immerse myself in every moment.
If you are considering a safari or wildlife experience in Uganda, I cannot recommend Amos highly enough. This was not just a tour, it was something truly unforgettable.

Best trip experience of my life!
Traveling with Bush Wander was truly the most incredible experience I could have ever been a part of. From the moment I stepped foot in Uganda, I knew that the country would become like a second home to me. The Bush Wander team made sure of that.
I stayed for ten days and was able to see the most amazing wildlife: mountain gorillas, chimpanzees, elephants, giraffes, zebras, shoebill storks, and so much more. But what was even better about the trip was that I got to experience these sightings ethically. Excellent experience from experienced safari traveller
Our birding safari was designed perfectly for our needs and experience. Our guide, Davis, was wonderful and is a pro birder; took care of all details and guided us expertly through the whole trip. Everything was done very well, all arrangements were made for us, we were well taken care of. Absolutely wonderful!
Excellent safari company and guide
Our safari was organized and planned by Amos for photography lof birds in Bwindi Impediabel Forest and Lake Buyanyi . We had a good time, and thought Davis was a fantastic guidef at finding, identifying the birds in great detail. The places we stayed at were beautiful. We were very pleased.

The best guide that you could hope for one of the most memorable trips of your life
We had the best experience that we could have hoped for our trip to Uganda and Rwanda.
Unlike normal travel agencies, Bush Wanders was very responsive to every little request that we had. No extra fees, not making it a big deal. Our guide, Amos, was the sweetest and yet so professional during the whole trip, trying his best to make our trip memorable. Thanks to him and the company, we had one of the best trips that we’ve had in Africa.
Very reliable service, we had so much fun driving around and doing the gorilla trekking. Every dollar that we spent was worth it.
They took care of literally everything so we didn’t need to worry about a thing during the whole trip.
