The variety of the tour meant that it was more than an ordinary safari.
We did an 18-day tour in February that spilt over into March. We were expecting rain, but we were lucky throughout the tour. The tour was well organised with lots of precise advance information.
Two things made the tour an exceptional one for us:
Firstly the variety. This tour was not just about the gorillas, although they were one of the highlights. Sophie prepared rafting on a fast-flowing river, chimps and other monkeys, walks in several national parks, the rhino conservancy, two boat trips, and dugout canoes on a lake.
Secondly, we had an exceptional driver/guide who was not only experienced on the roads but also knew all the birds by their calls.
We always felt secure on the trip, and the guide was very attentive when needed, but discreet at other times.
Uganda exceeded our expectations largely because of the two people who managed our tour.

Such an amazing trip at Masai Mara everything was planned to detail 😊 connected to Seychelles and this went well beyond my expectations, very luxurious.
Definitely planning another trip soon!!
