Awesome Kilimanjaro Machame Trekking
5/5

It was an unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience as we went trekking via the Machame route. We completed the trek in 7 days, adding an extra day to better acclimatize, which helped us reach the summit safely. We had two wonderful and expert guides who led us through the climbing trail while ensuring our safety throughout. The food was amazing thanks to our resident chef Musa, which kept us energized throughout. We both reached the summit and owe our success to our amazing and outstanding crew. I highly recommend this exceptional operator without hesitation!

Safari in Tanzania
5/5

The trip to Tanzania with Gecko Adventure Tanzania was very well organized with an excellent mix of cultural and wildlife related activities. The lodge that were booked in were excellent relaxation spots with comfortable rooms and great food. Right from fantastic dinners and filling breakfasts. For lunch we had boxed picnic lunches which were okay. Our guide, Musa was fantastic, and he showed us more animals than we expected. He was also great with the local tribes as he knew the local languages.
I highly recommend this trip,

Camping in Selous
5/5

Our camping safari was next-level amazing—like straight out of a nature documentary. We camped under the stars, with Otto as our guide, who knew the park like the back of his hand, showing us wildlife at every turn. Musa cooked all our meals over the campfire, and honestly, the food was chef’s kiss—super cozy and satisfying after a day of exploring.

One of the best moments was the boating safari along the Rufiji River. We got up close with hippos and a ton of birds—honestly felt like we were in a real-life National Geographic episode. The sounds of the bush were like nature’s playlist, making everything feel so peaceful. Evenings were spent around the campfire, just vibing and chatting about the day’s adventures. It was the perfect mix of chill and thrill, leaving us with memories as epic as the sunsets we watched from camp.

Amazing Safari
5/5

ad an amazing time during our 5-day safari with Gecko Adventure Tanzania to Selous and Mikumi. Everything was so well organized by Rama, the owner, from the very beginning right to the end. Our guide, Musa, was incredibly knowledgeable and patient—he answered every question we had and explained everything in detail.

We saw so many animals in Selous—hippos in the Rufiji River, elephants, gnus, giraffes, and huge herds of buffalo. Mikumi was also fantastic, with buffaloes, lions, and so much more. The whole experience was truly unforgettable.

We’re already thinking about visiting more parks with them next year. Great value for money, and I highly recommend Gecko Adventure Tanzania to anyone looking for an amazing safari experience.

Awesome trekking with the best guides
5/5

Reaching Uhuru Peak would have felt almost impossible without Juma our lead on Kilimanjaro with his calm confidence and deep knowledge of the mountain kept us steady when the altitude and cold really kicked in. He always checked in on how we were feeling, making sure we were warm enough and adjusting to the height.

Earlier in the trek, before things got tough, the whole Gecko Adventure Tanzania crew set the tone. Juma and Baraka brought this easy, uplifting energy that made every campsite feel lighter. The team was constantly cracking jokes, sharing stories, and somehow turning even the coldest nights into something fun.

Looking back, the combination of their positivity, care, and experience is really what made the whole climb unforgettable.

What an amazing adventurous holiday in Tanzania and Zanzibar
5/5

Our wedding anniversary began on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, ascending the Lemosho route with Gecko Adventure Tanzania. Musa and Bena guided us with warmth and grace through whispering forests, open moorlands, and the hushed heights of the alpine expanse. Shared laughter, hearty meals, and the rhythm of footsteps made the climb magical. Reaching the summit felt like touching a dream.

After the mountain, Zanzibar welcomed us with its soft air and rich history. Hussein led us through the twisting streets of Stone Town, the quiet beauty of Jozani Forest, and a spice trail alive with color and scent. Matemwe with the beautiful white sandy beaches was tranquil and exquisite. Calm waters, bright coral, and gentle shores offered a serene and unforgettable finale to a journey filled with awe and wonder.

Truly an unforgettable experience!
5/5

Our 5-day safari with Gecko Adventure Tanzania was an incredible mix of wildlife and cultural exploration. We began at Lake Manyara, a compact park where we encountered baboons, elephants, and a pride of tree-climbing lions. Then, we spent three days in the Serengeti, where we marveled at vast herds of wildebeest, lions lounging in the grass, and the endless golden plains. A highlight was visiting the Hadzabe Bushmen at Lake Eyasi, where we learned about their fascinating hunting skills and ancient way of life. We also explored the historic Olduvai Gorge, home to some of the earliest human fossils, and visited the museum that brings the region’s rich history to life. Each day, we stayed in comfortable, well-appointed lodges, where we were treated to delicious meals and great service. This safari offered the perfect balance of wildlife adventure and cultural immersion
