Awesome Kilimanjaro Machame Trekking
It was an unforgettable Kilimanjaro experience as we went trekking via the Machame route. We completed the trek in 7 days, adding an extra day to better acclimatize, which helped us reach the summit safely. We had two wonderful and expert guides who led us through the climbing trail while ensuring our safety throughout. The food was amazing thanks to our resident chef Musa, which kept us energized throughout. We both reached the summit and owe our success to our amazing and outstanding crew. I highly recommend this exceptional operator without hesitation!

A lasting safari experience of the highest quality!
We spent a week on safari with Gecko Adventures. Even when booking this exciting trip, Rama's advice was excellent; our requests for adjustments were well understood, and the package was tailored accordingly. The contact was very friendly, and responses always came within minutes or a few hours.
Throughout the entire trip, we felt reliably looked after – both by the head office (thanks Rama) and by our guide (thanks Minja). Communication with Rama during the safari was via a WhatsApp group.
The safari was wonderful; we saw as many animals as we could have wished for. A superlative experience!
Our guide, Minja, an extremely empathetic, polite, and friendly person, knows Tanzania and, in particular, the parks like the back of his hand. We felt completely comfortable and safe.

A beautifully organized trip by Gecko Adventure Tanzania
Our safari with Gecko Adventure Tanzania was an unforgettable experience. From the start our travel coordinator Rama helped us in the planning process. The payment process was also easy and safe. Otto, our guide and driver, was outstanding. His extensive knowledge of Selous; the wildlife and the entire ecosystem, and careful driving made me know that my family was secure. Each game drive with Otto was like magic as he brought the sights to life with vivid desctiptions. Accomodation was comfortable and thoughtfully selected. After the safari, we spent a day exploring Bagamoyo, one of the old coastal cities. We had an awesome experience thanks to a beautifully organized trip by Gecko Adventure Tanzania

7 days Kilimanjaro Rongai Climb
We traveled to Tanzania for Kilimanjaro on a trip organized by Gecko Tanzania Adventure. Rama was fantastic with the itinerary, paying attention to our preferences and suggesting the Rongai route while ensuring a high level of comfort, along with an incredible crew led by guide Musa. The climb was challenging, and I seriously doubt we would have succeeded without our team. The weather was excellent, and we loved trekking while taking in some of the most spectacular views of the summit and the plains below. The support provided was exceptional, with high-quality equipment, delicious food, and plenty of water. Everything about the trip was well taken care of, and I have nothing but gratitude for the entire support team.

Well Arranged Kilimanjaro Trek
The four of us completed our Kilimanjaro climb via the Lemosho route in 8 days with guides Musa and Jeffa from Gecko Adventure. We were supported by 12 porters and our private cook. They were friendly, professional, and made the experience enjoyable. We were very impressed with the quality of service from our hosts, including spacious tents, a portable toilet, and various other amenities that enhanced the challenging mountain conditions. Our cook, Bunala, went above and beyond to ensure we were well-fed throughout the trek, providing morning coffee, delicious lunch, and dinner. The weather was great, and we made good progress with our crew, who assisted us in the tough sections and kept us motivated. We had regular health checks and appreciated the concern and attention we received. I must commend Rama, who organized the trek, for doing a fantastic job. We highly recommend Gecko Adventure for their excellent hospitality and reasonable rates.

Lifelong Dream Come True
We arranged our Kilimanjaro trek using the Machame route with Gecko Adventure Tanzania, and it was an incredible experience. We truly received excellent service throughout our trek as we had the best support system. We had 2 incredible and seasoned guides - Musa and Kileo who were not only knowledgeable and friendly but also played a key role in helping us achieve our life-long goal of ascending to the summit of Kilimanjaro. Uhuru Peak.
We were provided with the best caping and hiking equipment, as the sleeping tent was top-notch, and the food was exceptionally tasty and enough for everyone. The mood in our camp was always warm and laughter filled the air all times.
I am really grateful that we took my parents advice and booked with Gecko, because they were absolutely fantastic and worth every penny.

Kilimajaro Lemosho Trekking
Without a doubt, this was the best trekking experience that we could have wished for, an incredible crew, great weather, and well-resourced on the just completed 8 days Kilimanjaro Lemosho trek.
Our guides, Julius and Musa, were outstanding; they cared for us and provided us with good advice on how to tackle the mountain. The trek is tough, and there were moments when we felt like giving up, but they encouraged us and helped us keep going, while ensuring that we were fit to continue with regular health checks of our oxygen levels and other vitals. The food throughout the trek was awesome. I have to give it to Steve, our cook, for creating some of the best meals we had in Tanzania. Actually, the whole crew impressed us by constantly going above and beyond to ensure we had the best conditions on that mountain.
Gecko Adventure Tanzania is a company based in Tanzania, and I am certain that we would not have made it to the summit without their support. They were recommended to us by friends, and we are over the moon with their over-the-top service. Their charges were also pocket friendly in comparisson to the other operators providing the same level of comfort and crew expertise

Camping Safari in Selous
Visiting Selous in Tanzania with Musa has been a unique and unforgettable experience. Musa helped us explore various parts of the expansive park, which was simply spectacular. We saw many different animals and participated in various activities, such as sport fishing, a boat safari on the Rufiji River, walking safaris, and unforgettable camping. Mwakio, the camp manager, was a great cook, preparing delicious dishes each time. Sleeping under canvas allowed us to connect with nature, and the tents were surprisingly very comfortable. I look forward to repeating this adventure soon.

It was a safari adventure of epic proportions
I have always dreamed of seeing lions, elephants, and other animal species in their natural habitats, and coming to Tanzania on my last trip made that dream come true. Selous is a wonderful place filled with all the animals that were on my wish list, and I got to fulfill my dream with my dear husband. We are so lucky to have done this trip with Otto, who was an excellent guide. He made the trip enchanting with the magical game drives that took us through the bush, water, forests, and woodlands of Selous. We saw elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, hyenas, jackals, monkeys, wild dogs... they were all there, everything I wanted! We saw them on the game drives and during the boat safari along the Rufiji River. I cannot thank Otto enough for being such an incredible guide and Ramadhan for coordinating everything. It was a safari adventure of epic proportions.

Selous, Mikumi and Ruaha Tour
It was our first trip to southern Tanzania, and I can say with certainty that we should have done this much sooner because we have been missing out on all the good stuff. The safari took us to Selous, Mikumi, and Ruaha National Parks, and there is still so much to see that I feel the 8 days were magical, but we needed more time to better explore the pristine parks. Our guide, Juma, was excellent; he made the game drives very engaging with his knowledgeable narrations. Be prepared for long-distance drives between the parks, but we also viewed it as an opportunity to observe how the people live and to see the land. It is an experience that we will cherish for a long time.
