An Exceptional Safari Experience from Start to Finish
We had an absolutely amazing holiday in Tanzania, spending 10 days on safari, all perfectly organized by The Glades of Tanzania and Alex Mwamba.
From the very first contact, everything was handled professionally and transparently. The itinerary, planning, and lodges Alex selected were excellent and well thought out. Every detail was taken care of, which allowed us to fully relax and enjoy the experience.
Alex’s knowledge is exceptional. With more than 25 years of experience as a guide, he seemed to know exactly where to find the animals we hoped to see — and he delivered, again and again. Thanks to him, we experienced an unforgettable safari.
What we particularly appreciated was the clarity and honesty: no hidden costs or surprises. Everything was included as promised — park entrance fees, food, drinks, and logistics. The detailed quote we received upfront was comprehensive and clear, exactly what you expect from a professional organization.
The safari vehicle was in excellent condition and was thoroughly cleaned every single day. Each day we were provided with a delicious lunch box with freshly prepared meals, which was a very nice touch.
Our route was perfectly balanced and included:
Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu (Manyara) – Serengeti National Park – Ndutu Area – return via Karatu (Ngorongoro).
In short: outstanding organization, fantastic guiding, great lodges, and total peace of mind throughout the trip. We cannot recommend The Glades of Tanzania and Alex Mwamba highly enough.
This safari exceeded all our expectations and will stay with us forever.

The most wonderful experience with a great guide!
Alex was an exceptional guide throughout our safaris in Tanzania. He is highly experienced and has an incredible eye for spotting the most fascinating wildlife scenes — moments that made our journey truly special. What we appreciated the most is how much he cares about every guest, always making sure that everyone enjoys the adventure to the fullest. His professionalism, kindness, and passion for nature made our safari an unforgettable experience. We feel so fortunate to have had him as our guide!

Amazing trip it was all we wished for and more!
We had our safari with Alex (the owner) he was not only a very nice guy but he also knew everything about the wildlife. He spotted all animals and told us everything about them. Also his driving was excellent so it was even a comfortable drive. If there is anyone I would recommend it is Alex his company!!!
